Purpose: This study aims to prevent Smartphone addiction and provide a basic material for intervention strategy by inquiring into the correlation between interpersonal relations competency and Smartphone addiction. Methods: This study carried out a questionnaire survey oriented to 323 people who agreed to participate in this research. For the final analysis, this study selected 298 sheets of questionnaires excluding 25 sheets with insufficient response qualities. Results: According to the results of regression analysis, significant correlation between interpersonal relations competency and Smartphone addiction level was not observed. However, according to the results of correlation analysis, the subordinate factor of Smartphone addiction "directionality of virtual world" showed a significant negative correlation with "opinion expression regarding rights or refusal" of interpersonal relations competency (p<0.05), while "withdrawal," the subordinate factor of interpersonal relations competency and Smartphone addiction displayed a negative correlation with Smartphone addiction (p<0.05). Conclusion : However, the mean of the 3DP group was within the clinical tolerance suggested by the previous researchers. Based on this, dental prosthesis fabricated by 3D printing technology is considered to be clinically acceptable.

The result of this study showed that average degree of communication competency was $3.55{\pm}.34$(5 point-scale), interpersonal relationship ability was $3.79{\pm}.50$(5 point-scale), self-management competency was $3.67{\pm}.47$(5 point-scale). The communication competency of nursing college students in graduation year showed a significant positive correlation with interpersonal relationship ability(r=.65, p<.001) and self-management competency(r=.70, p<.001). In addition, interpersonal relationship ability also showed a significant positive correlation(r=.69, p<.001) with self-management competency. Therefore, this study proposes an intervention program to help nursing graduates maintain efficient interpersonal relationships through smooth communication with patients, guardians and staff at the job site after graduation by building their own management competency in their academic life.

The purpose of this study is to develop the components and design strategies of e-learning content for the development of interpersonal competency, one of NCS vocational core competencies. In order to standardize the educational curriculum and content of interpersonal competency, this study has referred to the educational handbook of NCS vocational core competencies that the Human Resources Development Service of Korea has developed. Based on such standardized content, e-learning content components and design strategies were extracted by analyzing related studies and e-learning cases as well as by conducting surveys and interviews with experts and instructors of the field. Applying components and design strategies extracted through those investigations, the e-learning content for the development of interpersonal competency was developed. Its design's validity and educational effect were evaluated by interviews and surveys with students, professors, and experts. The evaluation results show that the e-learning content was appropriately designed and was effective in learning interpersonal competency as one of NCS vocational core competencies.

This study examined effect of preceptorship on clinical education of 39 senior nursing students. Competency scores and satisfaction with preceptors scores were investigated. Competency scores of the students before the clinical education (pre-competency scores) were compared with the competency scores after the clinical education (post-competency scores), and satisfactory scores were also examined after the clinical education. Study results showed that the total post-competency scores were increased compared to the total pre-competency scores, and this increment was statistically significant. However, analyzing sub-domains of the competency scores indicated only the nursing-skill domain scores were increased while the scores of interpersonal domain and management domain were increased but statistically insignificant. Satisfaction with preceptors scores were also more than the average scores reflecting the students were satisfied with their preceptors generally. The students, However, grade low in the preceptors' intellectual ability while their professional and interpersonal ability were rather satisfied. This study indicated preceptors should make more efforts to teach interpersonal and management skill and increase their intellectual ability. This study recommended a systematic reward system for the preceptors to increase the motivation to teach students is needed.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of teaching communication training using $Gagn{\acute{e}}^{\prime}s$ 9 events of instruction and video clip on communication competency and interpersonal relations of nursing students. Methods: The participants were 79 nursing students (41 in the intervention group, 38 in the control group). A nonequivalent control group design was used. Teaching communication skills using $Gagn{\acute{e}}^{\prime}s$ 9 events of instruction and video clip were provided to the intervention group 180 minutes/session once a week for 9 weeks. Data were analyzed using chi-square test, independent t-test and ANCOVA with SPSS/PC version 21.0. Results: The intervention group reported significantly higher scores of communication competency(F=8.41, p=.005) and interpersonal relations(F=8.97 p=.004) compared to those of the control group at the completion of the intervention. Conclusion: The findings of this study show that $Gagn{\acute{e}}^{\prime}s$ 9 events of instruction and video clip is an effective communication training for improving communication competency and interpersonal relations in nursing students. A randomized clinical trial is needed to confirm the value of communication training using $Gagn{\acute{e}}^{\prime}s$ 9 events of instruction and video clip for nursing students.

Objectives: This study aims to investigate and analyzed the priority of vocational core competency factors in dental hygienists in Gwangju. Methods: Expert survey was conducted and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) was applied to evaluate the weighting factors. First, we established the vocational core competency defined in NCS as AHP analysis model. The vocational core competency has 10 categories and 34 sub-categories. Secondly, AHP survey was conducted by 195 dental hygienists in Gwangju. Finally, the weights representing relative importance of each factor were calculated by using AHP method. Results: The AHP analysis on 10 categories showed that the weighting of interpersonal skills(0.165) was higher than any other categories while that of numeracy(0.035) was at the bottom, and the analysis on sub-categories revealed that the most important factors in each categories included the teamwork skills(interpersonal skills), problem-solving capability(problem-solving skills), listening skills(communication skills), ethical community(professional ethics), ability to understand business(ability to understand organizational structure), applicable technical skills(technical skills), self-management skills(self-development capability), information processing capabilities(information capacity), ability to manage time(resource management capabilities) and basic math skills(numeracy). Conclusions: The results in this study can be used as basic data for the development of liberal arts curriculum for dental hygiene education.
