  • Companies widely use survey to identify customer requirements, but the survey has some problems. First of all, the response is passive due to pre-designed questionnaire by companies which are the surveyor. Second, the surveyor needs to have good preliminary knowledge to improve the quality of the survey. On the other hand, text mining is an excellent way to compensate for the limitations of surveys. Recently, the importance of online review is steadily grown, and the enormous amount of text data has increased as Internet usage higher. Also, a technique to extract high-quality information from text data called Text Mining is improving. However, previous studies tend to focus on improving the accuracy of individual analytics techniques. This study proposes the methodology by combining several text mining techniques and has mainly three contributions. Firstly, able to extract information from text data without a preliminary design of the surveyor. Secondly, no need for prior knowledge to extract information. Lastly, this method provides quantitative sentiment score that can be used in decision-making.

  • First, based on extant studies in the field, the author extracts environments, general and personalized interactions between an internet shopping mall and its customers, interactions among customers, and outcomes as 5 relevant dimensions of the service quality of an internet shopping mal She derives hypotheses on the relationships between each of the service quality dimensions and each of the three components of the relationship quality, satisfaction, trust, and commitment. She also investigates the moderating role of the relationship duration defined by the length of use in the relationships. She studies the relationships among the three relationship quality components and their effects on the future intentions of relationship maintenance, too. Through a survey on college students and adult consumers, she gathers 349 qualified questionnaires. Applying regression methods on the data, she finds out that most of the relationships between each of the service quality dimensions and each of the relationship quality dimensions are statistically significant but that the strengths of relationship are quite different dimension by dimension. The moderating effect of the relationship duration is not found except one case, the relationship between general interactions and trust. The author also finds out positive relationships between satisfaction and trust between satisfaction and commitment, and between trust and commitment. Positive relationships between trust and the future intention of relationship maintenance and between commitment and the future intention are found. But the data does not reveal any statistically significant relationship beetween satisfaction and the future intention. The author provides a few implications of the research results and future research agenda.

For this, product decay function is defined to make sure whether the products are safety or not and to adopt a change in customer preferences. • Recently internet shopping malls provide newer and more varied goods and services to meet the demand of their customers. And as new companies enter the on-line shopping mall business, competition in this specific market is getting stiffer. Therefore, to keep a more sustained relationship with their customers, internet shopping malls need to satisfy their customers with their goods and services and to make them loyal customers. Unlike bricks-and-mortar stores in real life, This study also aims to propose an on-line physical environment model, and to develop the existing on-line research into a physical environment. The physical environment is measured on the four dimensions and 4 measurement units and the on-line physical environment, trust, and purchasing decisions are also explained. This study makes contributions as follows. First, online physical environments contain theoretical syntheses and operational definition. Second, this study finds that trust is an important part of an on-line transaction. Third, this study provides an insight into some of the factors preceding purchasing decisions. Lastly, this study finds that the consumer's comprehension of the on-line environment has a considerable influence on trust and purchasing decisions.

  • This paper presents an analysis of how the business models of organizations are getting transformed in the Marketspace created by the Internet. We use a research model comprising the transformation scores of four Ps(Product, Price, Promotion, and Place) as dependent variables and three dimensions, Demographics, Technology, and Community elements on the Websites, as explaining variables about the Cyber Transformation of the 4Ps. While most existing literatures have focused on Website's technology, our research model includes 22 five-point-scale items; 10 Demographics /Technology items and 12 Community items. To measure the 4P's transformation scores, the authors selected 14 workable items from the Marketspace Model by Dutta, Kwan, & Segev(1997). A sample of 123 shopping mall Websites comprising three categories(grocery, jewelry/accessory, and cosmetics) from the 100hot.co.kr list are evaluated and the data is analyzed by SPSSWIN 8.0 version. The result shows that there are five significant factors, Technology, Interaction, Connectedness, Business Features, and Domain, while the average transformation scores of 4Ps are at very low level. The factor scores are used in regression analysis for each P. Two factors, Technology and Interaction are influencing all four Ps; Connectedness is influencing only two, Product and Place. Organizations must not simply take their existing business models. They have to adopt the Technology items(navigation, logo, e-mail, guide, graphics) and to facilitate the Interaction items(consulting, number/quality of bulletin boards, participation, offline events) and Connectedness(club activation, contents, partner/site link, entertainment contents) in order to get transformed in the Marketspace successfully in the near future.
