  • 본 논문에서는 EMC(electromagnetic compatibility) 시험 규격 KN 61000-4-3 '방사성 RF 전자기장 내성 시험'에서 사용되는 균일장과 이를 바탕으로 하여 시험 시 균일하게 인가되는 전계강도에 대한 환경 변화 요소를 파악하여 방해요인을 분석한다.

  • 현재 국내 라디오 방송은 디지털 방식이 아닌 아날로그 방식을 통해 서비스 되고 있다. 아날로그 방식은 디지털 방식에 비해 주파수 효율이 저하되는 등의 기술적인 한계를 가지고 있다. 디지털 라디오 방식중 하나인 HD Radio는 기존의 아날로그 스펙트럼 양 옆에 디지털 데이터가 실리는 방식으로 기존 아날로그 주파수의 재배치 없이 디지털 신호를 전송할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 만약 아날로그와 디지털 신호가 동시에 존재하기 때문에 서로간에 간섭이 발생하면 원활한 수신이 불가능하므로 HD Radio와 기존FM방송 간의 간섭을 정확히 분석해야한다. 본 논문에서는 강릉 지역 괘방산 송신소를 기준으로 하고 전국의 103.5MHz 및 +-400kHz 이내의 주파수를 사용하는 기지국을 간섭국으로 지정하여 HD Radio 채널 배치 구조를 분석하였다. 본 논문을 통해 독자는 디지털 라디오 시스템의 주파수 간섭에 대한 참신한 정보를 얻을 수 있으리라 본다.

DEVELOPMENT OF AN OPTIMIZATION TECHNIQUE OF A WARM SHRINK FITTING PROCESS FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE TRANSMISSION PARTS

  • A fitting process carried out in the automobile transmission assembly line is classified into three classes; heat fitting, press fitting, and their combined fitting. Heat fitting is a method that applies heat in the outer diameter of a gear to a suitable range under the tempering temperature and assembles the gear and the shaft made larger than the inner radius of the gear. Its stress depends on the yield strength of a gear. Press fitting is a method that generally squeezes gear toward that of a shaft at room temperature by a press. Another method heats warmly gear and safely squeezes it toward that of a shaft. A warm shrink fitting process for an automobile transmission part is now gradually increased, but the parts (shaft/gear) assembled by the process produced dimensional change in both outer diameter and profile of the gear so that it may cause noise and vibration between gears. In order to solve these problems, we need an analysis of a warm shrink fitting process in which design parameters such as contact pressure according to fitting interference between outer diameter of a shaft and inner diameter of a gear, fitting temperature, and profile tolerance of gear are involved. In this study, an closed form equation to predict the contact pressure and fitting load was proposed in order to develop an optimization technique of a warm shrink fitting process and verified its reliability through the experimental results measured in the field and FEM, thermal-structural coupled field analysis. Actual loads measured in the field have a good agreement with the results obtained from theoretical and finite element analysis and also the expanded amounts of the outer diameters of the gears have a good agreement with the results.

  • 현재 국내 라디오 방송은 디지털 방식이 아닌 아날로그 방식을 통해 서비스 되고 있다. 디지털라디오란 기존의 FM/AM 라디오를 디지털 신호로 전송하는 것으로 보다 깨끗한 음질과 교통, 날씨정보 등 다양한 부가 서비스를 제공할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 이 밖에도 라디오가 디지털로 전환되면 갈수록 늘어나는 FM 주파수에 대한 수요도 충족시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다. 디지털 라디오 방식중 하나인 DRM+는 배치하고자하는 지역의 주파수 사용현황에 따라 상대적으로 간섭이 적은 대역이라면 어디든 배치할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 DRM+ 시스템에 대해 간단히 설명하고, 현재 사용 중인 주파수 현황을 알아본 후, 그에 맞는 DRM+후보 채널 도출 방안을 제시하고, 기존 아날로그 방송과 DRM+의 전파 간섭영향을 모의실험을 통해 검증 하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 지상파 Digital TV(Television) 방송의 난시청 지역 해소를 위하여 동일 채널 DTV ICS(Interference Cancellation System) 극소출력 중계기를 이용한 필드 테스트 분석을 통한 효과를 입증하였다. 전국적으로 산재한 난시청 지역(자연적) 및 건물(인위적)중에서 7개소를 필드 테스트 지역으로 선정하고, 각 방송국(KBS1, KBS2, EBS, MBC, SBS)에 대하여 ICS 극소출력 중계기의 설치 전, 후의 수신 전계 강도와 SNR(Signal to Noise Ratios)을 측정하고, 또한 수신율 개선 현황을 통하여 ICS 극소출력 중계기의 효과를 검증하고, 향후 ICS 타입 극소출력 중계기의 확산을 위한 연구 기반을 제공하였다.

  • Owing to revolutionary developments in automobile technologies, a variety of advanced vehicles - hybrid vehicle, hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle, electric vehicle, etc. - emerges recently. The safety is getting more important for developing automobiles. The electro-magnetic compatibility has to be assured, since those advanced vehicles are equipped with various new electronic systems. Electro-magnetic compatibility tests, in general, consist of an EMI(electro-magnetic interference) test and an EMS (electro-magnetic susceptibility) test. We investigated the susceptibility test method suggested in KMVSS (Korean Motor Vehicle Safety Standard) as the EMS test method. A series of experiments results that the above test method should be partially revised to comply with a Korean governmental standard method. In this paper, the some directions of modifications are presented to enhance the quality of the above EMS test method.

  • Heart consists of myocardium cells and the electrophysiological activity of the cells generate magnetic fields. By measuring this magnetic field, magnetocardiogram (MCG), functional diagnosis of the heart diseases is possible. Since the strength of the MCG signals is weak, typically in the range of 1-10 pT, we need sensitive magnetic sensors. Conventionally, superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUID)s were used for the detection of MCG signals due to its superior sensitivity to other magnetic sensors. However, drawback of the SQUID is the need for regular refill of a cryogenic liquid, typically liquid helium for cooling low-temperature SQUIDs. Efforts to eliminate the need for the refill in the SQUID system have been done by using cryocooler-based conduction cooling or use of non-cryogenic sensors, or room-temperature sensors. Each sensor has advantage and disadvantage, in terms of magnetic field sensitivity and complexity of the system, and we review the recent trend of MCG technology.

2D CRD 수에 따른 전자파 잔향실 내의 필드 균일성 개선 (Improvement of Field Uniformity in a Reverberation Chamber with Various Numbers of a 2D CRD)

  • 본 논문은 전자파장해 및 복사 내성 측정에 사용되는 전자파 무반사실의 대용 방법으로 사용되는 전자파 잔향실 내의 필드 균일성에 관한 연구이다. 최근 Wireless LAN 이나 DMB 및 휴대 인터넷 사용량의 증가로 인해 전자기파 노이즈가 다른 기기나 장비에 악영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되는 2.3 GHz 대역에 초점을 맞추었다. 본 논문에서는 전자파 잔향실 내부의 전계강도 수치해석을 위하여 시간영역 유한 차분법이 사용되었으며, 전자파 잔향실의 특성과 내부 전계강도의 균일성 개선을 위하여 2D CRD의 배치와 개수를 변화시키면서 표준 편차, 공차 특성, 편파 특성을 비교분석하였다. 전자파 잔향실의 두 면에 확산기를 부착하였을 때 확산기를 사용하지 않은 전자파 잔향실에 비하여 표준 편차는 1.98 dB, 공차 특성은 3.6 dB 만큼 개선되었다.
