In particular, the start-up risk considers the recent ongoing Covid_19 Pandemic along with the level of awareness of the start-up risk of business administration university students. For this purpose, a total of 204 questionnaires collected for two months from October to November in 2020 were used to verify this relevance empirically through multiple regression analysis. The empirical analysis results are as follows. First, the level of students' awareness of start-up risks has no statistically significant relevance to their entrepreneurial intention, but the higher the level of negative perception of Covid_19 Pandemic, the lower the entrepreneurial intention. On the other hand, additional analysis showed that the students with low self-efficacy majoring in business administration, it was found that negative perceptions of start-up risk had a negative effect on start-up willingness. This study is timely and different from previous studies in that it empirically verified the effect of start-up risk on business administration university students' entrepreneurial intention at a time when negative perceptions of start-up risk increase and COVID_19 Pandemic make it increasingly difficult to start a business administration universit student.

  • As an origin and a starting point of business start-up, this start-up intention is believed to be the driving force of economic growth. Being aware of the importance of the start-up intention, the study looked into cause-and-effect relationships of variables focusing on intermediate roles of start-up self-efficacy and intrinsic motivation in self-leadership and start-up intention of business founders. In order to achieve the research goal, the study conducted both a survey targeting a total of 195 business founders registered at a business incubation center and an empirical analysis on the results of the survey. According to the findings from the analysis, the study first learned that the self-leadership would have a positive effect on the start-up self-efficacy and the intrinsic motivation which eventually proved that the self-leadership is a leading variable of the start-up self-efficacy and the intrinsic motivation. Second, both the start-up self-efficacy and the intrinsic motivation were observed to be positively related to the start-up intention. That finding signified that roles of the start-up self-efficacy and the intrinsic motivation are important to increase the start-up intention. Third, intermediate effects of the start-up self-efficacy and the start-up intention were discovered from the self-leadership and the start-up intention, the main topics of the research. Hence, in order to improve the start-up intention, the importance of the start-up self-efficacy and the intrinsic motivation should be recognized and promoted as well and for this goal to be achieved, the business founders should understand the idea that the self-leadership has to come first than anything else in this case. Based on the results of the research, the study offers theoretical and practical implications.

  • This study attempted to analyze the impact of individual entrepreneurial capabilities on entrepreneurial intention targeting small and medium-sized business employees, and sought to confirm the mediating effect of entrepreneurial efficacy and entrepreneurial mentoring between entrepreneurial capabilities and entrepreneurial intention. The sub-variables of entrepreneurship competency were analyzed separately into creativity, problem solving, communication, and marketing. 368 questionnaires collected from employees at small and medium-sized manufacturing companies located across the country were used for empirical analysis. A parallel dual mediation model with no causal relationship between parameters was used for empirical analysis using SPSS v26.0 and PROCESS macro v4.2. As a result of the analysis, first, among the start-up competencies, creativity, communication, and marketing were confirmed to have a significant positive (+) effect on start-up efficacy. Second, among the start-up competencies, creativity, communication, and marketing were tested to have a significant positive influence on start-up mentoring. Third, both startup efficacy and startup mentoring were found to have a significant positive influence on startup intention. Fourth, among start-up capabilities, creativity and marketing were confirmed to have a significant positive (+) effect on start-up intention. Fifth, startup efficacy and startup mentoring were found to have a mediating effect on startup intention except for problem solving among startup competencies. As a result, it was confirmed that in order to strengthen the intention to start a business among small and medium-sized business employees, start-up efficacy and start-up mentoring are important factors, and that marketing and creativity have an important influence among individual start-up capabilities, so education and prior preparation for these are necessary. As follow-up research, it will be necessary to apply multivariate models, analyze time series data, research considering external environmental factors, and test the difference between start-up capabilities and performance considering detailed population characteristics.

  • This study aims to investigate the effects of foreign students' entrepreneurship on start-up recognition and intention. Due to the expanded policy of attracting foreign students with current Korean wave, it has rapidly increased the number of foreign students in Korea. The number of foreign students in Korea has increased from 50,000 up to 100,000 in 2012. Approximately half of number was resided in Seoul capital, surrounding satellite cities and followed by Kyeongsang, Chungcheong and Jeolla province regions. In this study, we examined the correlation of entrepreneurship with start-up recognition and intention of foreign students living in Daejeon city. The research model was constructed with entrepreneurship and start-up intention as independent and dependent variable, respectively, and start-up recognition as a moderating variable. Furthermore, the entrepreneurship of foreign students as independent variable contains innovativeness, pro-activeness, risk-taking and social responsibility. In the survey, we collected 119 responding foreign students belonging to KAIST, Chungnam National University and Hanbat National University and analyzed the correlations of these variables with 116 significant answers. To validate the hypotheses, linear regression analysis tool in SPSS program was used. As a result of the survey, entrepreneurship components such as innovativeness, pro-activeness, risk-taking and social responsibility affected start-up intention positively. In addition, start-up recognition as a moderating variable affected positively between entrepreneurship and start-up intention. However, it has the limitation to generalize the overall correlation of entrepreneurship with start-up recognition and intention for foreign students living in Korea because the survey was only performed in restricted Daejeon city area. Nonetheless, this study can be useful for understanding the foreign students's trait for entrepreneurship and planning the adequate entrepreneurship education.

For this study, the measurement variables of positive psychology capital, intention of start-up, and start-up behavior were set, and the collected data were analyzed for connection-centeredness and eigenvector after data collection. The findings are as follows. First, some variables affecting the intention of start-up showed optimism, resilience and hope of positive psychology capital. Second, the intention to start a business was shown to have a significant impact on the behavior of start-ups, which, unlike the preceding study, appeared to be almost outside the network structure, showing that the behavior of start-ups was not significantly affected by other variables. Third, it is important to increase self-efficacy in positive psychological capital in order to increase the behavior of start-ups. Fourth, the analysis of the eigenvactor among positive psychology capital, intention of start-up, and start-up behavior showed optimism as some of the most central variables. In other words, prospective start-ups were found to be aware of the hardships and expected positive results in the future. The implications of this study, along with the intention and behavior of prospective entrepreneurs, are important factors in positive psychology capital, and suggest the importance of various educational programs that can be enhanced by positive psychology capital in start-up education or training programs and what should be taught. In addition, this study analyzed the network by approaching it from the perspective of positive psychology capital of prospective entrepreneurs in order to enhance the effectiveness of support programs for start-ups by the government, public institutions or universities in the future.

While most of existing studies focused on the positive psychological variables and individual environmental characteristics influencing on the entrepreneurial intention, this study has taken a look at the influence of the intolerance of uncertainty as the psychological variable to the entrepreneurial intention to negatively act on the entrepreneurial intention. As a result of the analysis, the intolerance of uncertainty under the control of entrepreneurship and gender is shown to have the negative (-) influence on the entrepreneurial intention and has high level of recognition on the start-up support system perception, and the start-up support system perception is confirmed to have positive (+) influence on the entrepreneurial intention. And, it also indicates that, with respect to the influence of the intolerance of uncertainty on the entrepreneurial intention, the start-up support system perception has the partial medium effect. Following this result of the study, it provides following indications: First the existing studies on the entrepreneurial intention had not covered the intolerance of uncertainty but it is confirmed as the psychological variable with negative influence on the entrepreneurial intention. Second, it is feasible for the preliminary start-up businesses may turn the fear on start-up failure into positive entrepreneurial intention with the start-up support system perception as the leading vehicle. And, third, based on the result, the government should enhance the start-up support system perception even more by seeking ways of efficient publicity to enable more preliminary start-up businesses to participate in diverse start-up support policies. Lastly, it discusses the limitations of this study as well as proposal for ensuing study plans.

As a result, excluding 11 copies with a difficulty in the application to statistics among totally 211 copies, 200 copies were chosen as the final samples. Data were conducted reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis by using SPSS 20.0. The results are as follows. First, the individual norm had a significant impact on a start-up intention. Second, the start-up preparation level had a significant effect on a start-up intention. Third, the start-up education had a moderating impact in the relationship between the individual norm and the start-up intention. Fourth, the start-up education had a moderating influence in the relationship between the start-up preparation level and the start-up intention. However, this study limited the sampling region to K area, thereby having a limitation in generalizing the findings all over the country. Moreover, there is a suggestion that a continuous research will need to be performed in terms of an influential factor in pre-entrepreneurs' start-up intention as well as in individual norm and start-up preparation level.
