한국 아동의 인쇄물 개념 습득과 언어능력의 관계 (Relationships between Print Concepts and Language Ability in 4-to 6-year old Korean Children)

  • In this study, 197 4- to 6- year-old Korean children wereindividually tested with Concepts about Print(CAP Clay, 2000), the Picture Vocabulary Test(Kim, Jang, Lim & Bak, 1996), Korean-Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence : Verbal Test (K-WPPSI), and the Basic Academy Skills Assessment : Reading(Kim, 2000). Data were analyzed by Pearson-correlation, analysis of variance, and factor analysis. There were significant differences of CAP mean scores by age. Within the subcategories of CAP, Book Orientation Concepts and Print-convention were acquired earlier than other subcategories, followed by Print-direction, Print-order and Advanced Print Concepts in that order. The scores of CAP were positively correlated with the Picture Vocabulary Test, the K-WPPSI verbal test and the reading test.

전전두엽 EEG-뉴로피드백 훈련과 유아의 뇌기능 및 지능발달에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Prefrontal EEG-Neurofeedback on Development of Infants' Brain Function and Intelligence)

  • 본 연구는 뉴로피드백 훈련이 유아의 뇌 기능과 지능에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구로 첫째, 뉴로피드백 훈련이 유아의 뇌 기능에 어떤 변화를 주는지를 검증하였으며, 둘째, 한국 웩슬러유아지능검사(K-WPPSI: Korean Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence)를 통해 뉴로피드백 훈련이 유아의 지능 발달에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 본 연구는 천안 소재의 J 유치원에 재원중인 만5세 유아 60명을 대상으로, 2008년 4월 21일부터 12월 12일에 걸쳐 뉴로피드백 훈련 지침에 따라 훈련을 실시하였다. 뉴로피드백 훈련 전과 후의 뇌기능지수와 지능을 분석하였으며, 통계분석은 SPSS for Window 13.0 패키지를 사용하여 t-검증을 통해 분석하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 뇌기능 지수 전체를 종합 평가한 브레인지수는 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나, 뉴로피드백 훈련이 유아의 뇌 기능 발달에 매우 효과적인 방법임을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 뉴로피드백 훈련이 동작성 지능 지수 중 도형 영역, 미로 영역, 빠진 곳 찾기 영역은 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 종합적인 평가 지수인 동작성 지능 지수도 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 이러한 실험 결과는 뉴로피드백 훈련이 동작성 지능 지수 발달에 매우 효과적인 방법임을 알 수 있었고, 세째, 뉴로피드백 훈련은 언어성 지능 지수 중 공통성 영역만 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

간호대학생의 감성지수가 진로결정자기효능감에 미치는 영향: 회복탄력성의 매개효과 중심으로 (Mediating Effects of Resilience on the Relation between Emotional Intelligence and Self-Efficacy on Career Decision-Making in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 감성지수가 진로결정자기효능감에 미치는 영향에서 회복탄력성의 매개효과를 확인하고자 시행되었다. 연구 대상자는 전북지역 간호대학생 136명으로, 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 2020년 8월26일부터 9월 30일까지 편의표집 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구대상자의 일반적 특성, 감성지수, 회복탄력성, 진로결정자기효능감은 기술통계를 실시하고, 일반적인 특성에 따른 감성지수, 회복탄력성, 진로결정자기효능감의 차이는 independent t-test와 one-way ANOVA를 이용하였다. 주요 변인 간의 상관관계는 Pearson's correlation coefficients로, 감성지수와 진로결정자기효능감과의 관계에서 회복탄력성의 매개효과를 확인하기 위하여 liner regression analysis로, 매개효과의 유의성 검증을 위하여 Sobel test를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 감성지수, 회복탄력성 및 진로결정자기효능감은 양(+)의 상관관계를 보였으며, 간호대학생의 감성지수는 진로결정자기효능감에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 간호대학생의 감성지수와 진로결정자기효능감 간의 관계에서 회복탄력성은 부분 매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 간호대학생의 진로결정자기효능감을 촉진하기 위해 감성지수를 향상시키고, 회복탄력성과 같은 긍정적인 자원을 고려하여 감성지수와 진로결정자기효능감을 향상시킬 수 있는 진로관련 프로그램을 개발하고 이를 반영한 체계적인 전략 마련이 필요하다.

초임 유아교사의 정서지능, 교사-유아 상호작용 간의 관계에서 정서노동의 매개효과 (The Relationship between Novice Early Childhood Teacher's Emotional Intelligence and Teacher-Child Interaction in the Mediating Effect of Emotional Labor)

  • This study examined the mediating effect of emotional labor in the relations between teachers' emotional intelligence and teacher-child interaction of novice early childhood teachers. The sample consisted of 248 novice early childhood teachers in Gyeonggi Province. The structural equation modeling was conducted using AMOS to test the fit of a hypothesized structural model. The mediating effect of emotional labor was verified by the bootstrapping approach. The results were as follows: First, teacher-child interaction was positively associated with teachers' emotional intelligence and deep acting in emotional labor was negatively associated with surface acting in emotional labor. Next, surface acting in emotional labor had a mediating effect on the relations between emotional intelligence and teacher-child interaction. Finally, deep acting of emotional labor had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between emotional intelligence and teacher-child interaction. Based on these findings, ways to enhance teachers' emotional intelligence in relation to the novice teachers' emotional characteristics, and to improve recognition on emotional labor were discussed.

급식업체 조리종사자의 감성지능과 개인의 직무태도, 조직성과와의 관계분석 (Understanding Relationship among Emotional Intelligence, Job Attitude, and Organizational Performance in Kitchen Staff)

  • The objective of this study was analyze the relationship among emotional intelligence, job attitude (job satisfaction, organizational commitment, turnover intention), and organizational performance in kitchen staff. A survey collected data from foodservice employees (N=611). Statistical analyses were completed using SPSS Win (17.0) for descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, t-test, correlation analysis, and AMOS (7.0) for confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. The main results of this study were as follows. The four EI (Emotional Intelligence) dimensions significantly correlated with age. The mean of the job satisfaction score was 3.24. The organizational commitment score was 3.54. The organizational commitment score was higher for 'loyalty' factor than for 'sense of belongs' factor. The mean of organizational performance score was 3.61. The four EI(Emotional Intelligence) factors were significantly correlated with job satisfaction (organizational commitment, organizational performance, and turnover intension). Structural equation modeling found that emotional intelligence had positive effects on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and organizational performance, whereas job satisfaction and organizational performance had positive effects on organizational performance. Therefore, this study found that emotional intelligence had direct and indirect effects on organizational performance.

간호사의 감성지능과 스트레스 대처와의 관계 (The Relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Stress Coping of Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between emotional intelligence and stress coping of nurses in hospitals. Method: The study was a descriptive-correlational study with a convenience sample of 298 nurses. Descriptive statistics t-test, Mann-Whitney U, One-way ANOVA and Pearson correlation coefficients were used for data analysis. Results: The results of this study were as follows; Emotional intelligence was higher in married nurses than unmarried nurses (t=-2.90, p=.004). Nurses with a clinical career of 4~7 years had better stress coping than nurses with shorter careers (F=5.60, p=.004). Ward nurses better stress coping than nurses in emergency rooms and Intensive care units (F=4.43, p=.013). Fixed shift nurses had better stress coping than nurses on rotation shifts (t=-2.37, p=.019). There was a significant positive correlation between emotional intelligence and stress coping(r=.29, p<.001). Conclusion: The results indicate that stress coping is better in nurses with higher emotional intelligence, 4~7 year clinical experience, working on ward a as well as having a fixed shift. However further development and application of programs which can improve nurses' emotional intelligence are needed.

일대기업 근로자의 자아존중감, 감성지능, 마음챙김이 스트레스 반응에 미치는 효과 (Relationships between Self-Esteem, Emotional Intelligence, and Mindfulness of Employees in Large Corporations)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify influencing factors on the stress of employees in large corporations by examining relationships between self-esteem, emotional intelligence, and mindfulness. Methods: A hundred and sixty four employees from large corporations completed self-reporting questionnaires during November and December, 2019. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS/WIN 22.0 using descriptive statistics, the t-test, ANOVA, correlation, and multiple regression analysis. Results: The scores were 2.96±0.40 for "self-esteem", 3.56±0.61 for "emotional intelligence", 4.01±0.04 for "mindfulness", and 2.21±0.79 for "stress response". A regression analysis identifying factors affecting the stress response of employees in large corporations showed that "mindfulness" was the most significant factor (β=-.58, p<.001), followed by "emotional intelligence" (β=-.21, p=.005) and "self-esteem" (β=-.16, p=.009). The explanatory power of these variables for the stress response of employees in large corporations was 48%. Conclusion: Our findings suggest that self-esteem, emotional intelligence, and mindfulness are significantly related to employees' stress response in large corporations. Therefore, stress response management programs should be developed to improve self-esteem, emotional intelligence, and mindfulness.

비정규직 호텔 조리종사원의 감성지능이 조직몰입, 업무성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Emotional Intelligence on Organizational Commitment and Work Performance of Non-regular Hotel Culinary Staff)

  • The purpose of the study is to provide data for an efficient human resources management of hotel corporation by examining if the emotional intelligence with affective involvement and continuous involvement could impact work performance. For the field test and verification, the non-regular hotel staffs from November $1^{st}$ to $30^{th}$, 2016 were selected as the research objects. The research result is summarized as follows. First, the emotional intelligence of non-regular hotel staff impacted positively on affective involvement and continuous involvement. Second, the continuous involvement had a positive influence on work performance. Lastly, the emotional intelligence of non-regular hotel staff appeared to have a positive effect on the work performance. With this research, it may have an opportunity to utilize this study result as an educational material to enhance emotional intelligence of hotel corporation. In conclusion, it may need to introduce an emotional intelligence enhancement program in the hotel corporation. Also, in order to improve work performance, intensive efforts in organizational level would be required by enabling employees to make an affective involvement. Finally, to cope with rapidly changing circumstances, additional empirical study should be conducted that the affective involvement of non-regular hotel staff impacts the work performance.

간호대학생의 소명의식, 감성지능 및 전공몰입과 행복감 간의 관계: 전공몰입의 매개효과를 중심으로 (Associations of Vocational Calling, Emotional Intelligence, and Major Commitment with the Happiness of Nursing Students: Focusing on Mediating Effects of Major Commitment)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the impacts of vocational calling, emotional intelligence, and major commitment on nursing college students' happiness. This study also was conducted to explore major commitment's mediating effect on the relationship between vocational calling, emotional intelligence, and major commitment among nursing college students. Methods: Participants were 346 nursing college students. Data were collected in November, 2017 with self-report questionnaires and were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and regression analysis with IBM SPSS 19.0. Results: The regression model explained 33.0% of variance in nursing college students' happiness (F=41.44, p<.001). Significant factors were emotional intelligence (${\beta}=.30$, p<.001), grade (${\beta}=.20$, p<.001), major commitment (${\beta}=.18$, p=.002), and vocational calling (${\beta}=.11$, p=.035). Moreover, major commitment showed partial mediating effects on vocational calling and happiness. Major commitment also showed partial mediating effects on emotional intelligence and happiness. Conclusion: The results suggest that nursing college students' happiness can be increased through strategies aimed at increasing vocational calling, emotional intelligence, and major commitment.

The Impact of Emotional Intelligence Orientation on Audit Sustainability: Empirical Evidence from Vietnam

  • The study investigates and measures the impact of the emotional intelligence orientation on audit sustainability in Vietnam. Survey data for this research were collected from 260 auditors (CPAs) currently working in auditing firms, for the period from April 2020 to July 2020. In this study, we have built a model with two dependent variables (Emotional intelligence orientation and Audit sustainability) and six independent variables (Proactive audit vision, Continuous audit development, Dynamic audit experience, Audit environmental change, Stakeholder expectation pressure, Advocacy culture). The research methods used include Cronbach's Alpha test, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmation factor analysis (CFA) and linear structural model analysis (SEM). The results showed that (1) Proactive audit vision, (2) Continuous audit development, (3) Dynamic audit experience, (4) Audit environmental change, (5) Stakeholder expectation pressure are positively related to emotional intelligence orientation. However, Advocacy culture is not positively related to Emotional intelligence orientation. The findings of this study suggest that emotional intelligence orientation positively impacts audit sustainability (similar to the findings by Thapayom, Ussahawanitchakit, & Boonlua, 2017, 2018 in Thailand). The results of this study provide a scientific basis for managers at auditing firms to make appropriate decisions to improve auditing activities in the coming years.
