본 논문에서는 SCADE를 사용하여 항공기 안전필수 시스템인 공중충돌회피시스템(TCAS-II)을 위한 통합 시뮬레이터를 설계한다. 이 TCAS-II시뮬레이터는 기존의 충돌회피 알고리즘의 문제점을 분석하고 실제 공중충돌 상황을 더욱 현실성 있게 시스템 평가에 반영할 수 있도록 편리한 통합시뮬레이션 환경을 반영하여 구현한다. 또한 안전 필수요건인 소프트웨어 국제표준 신뢰성 요건을 만족하면서 실제로 실험할 수 없는 상황에 대한 TCAS-II의 성능분석 및 새로운 충돌회피 로직 연구를 위한 시나리오 편집기를 제시하고 이를 사용하여 전형적인 공중충돌 시나리오에 대한 시뮬레이션을 통해 그 성능을 검증한다.

최근 정보화는 사회전반에 걸쳐 핵심 전략수단이 되었으며, 항만에 있어서도 정보화 및 정보기술의 중요성은 예외 없이 강조되고 있다. 그러나, 이러한 항만 정보화의 중요성에도 불구하고 이에 대한 기반연구가 부족하고, 게다가 항만의 정보화 수준을 제대로 측정할 수 있는 기준과 그 수준을 분석한 연구는 거의 없는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 점에 주목하여 항만의 정보화 수준을 파악하기 위한 기준을 수립하고, 정보화 수준 평가지수를 개발하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 한다. 그리고, 수립된 지수모델을 바탕으로 그 적용가능성을 가늠해보고자 한다.

본 논문은 휴대인터넷시스템의 수동피코셀 제안과 엑세스포인트와 수동형 피코셀간의 ROF(Radio over Fiber)접속 구도에 대한 것이다. 휴대인터넷시스템(Wibro)은 시속 60km의 중속도의 이동 단말에 50Mbps의 IP 기반 데이터서비스를 제공하는 것이다. 따라서 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 초기에 셀의 구축비용을 최소화 하는 것이 요구된다. 본 논문은 이러한 요구사항을 만족하는 수동형 피코셀을 제안하고 이의 접속구도에 대하여 제안한 것이다. 기존의 FP(Fabry-Perot) 레이저를 채용하는 경우 ROF 링크의 비선형 특성을 측정하여 Wibro시스템에 접속 가능성을 검증하였다.

본 논문은 INS/vSLAM 통합 항법 시스템의 성능 향상을 위한 기초 연구로써, 비전 센서의 영상처리 성능을 향상을 위한 알고리즘 개발에 목표를 두고 있다. 비전센서의 영상처리알고리즘으로 SIFT 알고리즘을 사용하였으며, SIFT 알고리즘의 특징점 정합 성능을 개선하기 위해 특징점 정합 필터를 적용하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 알고리즘을 이용하여 기존의 SIFT 알고리즘을 파라미터 조절한 경우보다 향상된 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 차후 실시간 통합 항법 시스템에 적용하기 위해서 알고리즘의 속도를 향상시키는 작업이 필요하다.

In this study, the correlation analysis between total system error and environmental factor variables was performed to confirm the effect on the performance of the integrated navigation system by various environmental factors. To collect flight data of hybrid vertical take-off and landing UAVs, scenarios including various turning sections and straight sections such as left turn, right turn, turning rate, and path change angle were selected, and environmental data of wind direction, wind speed, temperature, air pressure, and humidity were collected in real time through weather station. As a result of the correlation analysis between the collected flight data and environmental data, it was concluded that the performance of the integrated navigation system by environmental factors within the collected data was not significant affected and was robust.

Hydrogen is bridge fuel with high energy content and environmentally friendly to satisfy the stringent IMO regulation relating to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. There is growing interest in hydrogen in numerous nations and regions illustrated by an extensive range of research and development in technology. Regarding maritime applications, researchers have recognized the utilization of hydrogen as a fuel for fuel cells, a device that converts the chemical energy of the fuel to electrical energy. Solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC), with high working temperature, is easy to combine with the waste heat recovery cycles/devices to increase output power and thermodynamic performances as well. Furthermore, the cold energy from liquid hydrogen supplied to SOFC can also be used to generate more power. In this study, we proposed a SOFC integrated system with the idea of combining the waste heat recovery from the SOFC exhaust stream and cold energy utilization from LH₂. The designation is aimed to target small-scale vessel which uses electric propulsion for short distances voyage.

A software platform which is able to evaluate the performances of a GPS/INS integrated system has been developed in this paper. And it consists of four parts including GUI(Graphic User Interface) part, GPS part, INS part and integrated filter part. It basically offers the loosely, tightly and deeply coupled GPS/INS algorithms, and many design parameters can be changed by users via GUI. Each functions of the platform has been confirmed with GPS signals and IMU data from commercial simulators.

The number of marine accidents have been decreased since various equipments for navigation control have been introduced to the marine vessels. However, disastrous marine accidents such as ship collisions are occurred more frequently. Therefore, IMO(International Maritime Organization) is enforcing the design requirement of structural strength for marine vessel. Also EU countries are developing new design methodologies and design tools to suggest the design guidance which can minimize the damage of commercial vessels in case of marine collision accidents. In this study, an integrated design system for the safety assessment has been presented to enhance the safety of damaged ships in marine collision accidents. The architecture of system is described by use-cases and IDEF functional analysis. Then an integrated system for safety assessment of damaged ship which is considering both damage stability and structural safety has been developed to support the ship design in early stage.

GPS Receiver gives pseudorange Doppler and integrated carrier phase for measurements to compute navigation information. Thought the integrated carrier phase can be transfer to the equal domain as pseudorange by multiplying the wave length of the received signal, in order to get position information from the carrier phase measurements the integer ambiguity should be resolved. And differencing technique is generally used to eliminate the common error terms of the integrated carrier phase measurements between robber and server. In short baseline double-differencing operation has effect on elimination the common biases for both stations and thus ambiguity resolution are to be reliable. In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of a multimedia information system integrating hypermdia, information retrieval, and DBMS technologies. We browse the information space through hypermedia link navigation and also use ad hoc queries for direct retrieval of information from the database. Both the hypermedia and the information retrieval systems are integrated into a database management system (DMBS) so that concurrent edition, update, and retrieval of documents can have the ACID properties of atomicity, consistency, isolation, and durability. We will first explain the architecture of the system and then, describe how the hypermedia system is integrated with information retrieval capability, and finally integrated with DBMS capabilities.
