Fuzzy neural network is an integrated model of artificial neural network and fuzzy system and it has been successfully applied in control and forecasting area. Recently ANFIS(Adaptive Network-based Fuzzy Inference System) has been noticed widely among various fuzzy neural network models because of outstanding performance of control and forecasting accuracy. ANFIS has capability to refine its fuzzy rules interactively with human expert. In particular, when we use initial rule structure for machine learning which is generated from human expert, it is highly probable to reach global optimum solution as well as shorten time to convergence. We propose metrics to evaluate interpretability of generated rules as a means of acquiring domain knowledge and compare level of interpretability of ANFIS fuzzy rules to those of C5.0 classification rules. The proposed metrics also can be used to evaluate capability of rule generation for the various machine learning methods.
A low dropout (LDO) regulator with a wide-bandwidth is proposed in this paper. The regulator features a Human Body Model (HBM) 8kV-class high robustness ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) protection circuit, and two error amplifiers (one with low gain and wide bandwidth, and the other with high gain and narrow bandwidth). The dual error amplifiers are located within the feedback loop of the LDO regulator, and they selectively amplify the signal according to its ripples. The proposed LDO regulator is more efficient in its regulation process because of its selective amplification according to frequency and bandwidth. Furthermore, the proposed regulator has the same gain as a conventional LDO at 62 dB with a 130 kHz-wide bandwidth, which is approximately 3.5 times that of a conventional LDO. The proposed device presents a fast response with improved load and line regulation characteristics. In addition, to prevent an increase in the area of the circuit, a body-driven fabrication technique was used for the error amplifier and the pass transistor. The proposed LDO regulator has an input voltage range of 2.5 V to 4.5 V, and it provides a load current of 100 mA in an output voltage range of 1.2 V to 4.1 V. In addition, to prevent damage in the Integrated Circuit (IC) as a result of static electricity, the reliability of IC was improved by embedding a self-produced 8 kV-class (Chip level) ESD protection circuit of a P-substrate-Triggered Silicon Controlled Rectifier (PTSCR) type with high robustness characteristics.

This paper presents an integrated analysis of production and financing decisions. We assume that a cash storage unit is installed to manage the cash flows related with production activities such as raw material procurement, process operating setup, Inventory holding cost and finished product sales. Temporarily financial investments are allowed for more profit. The production plant is modeled by the Batch-Storage Network with Recycle Streams in Yi and Reklaitis (2003). The objective function of the optimization is minimizing the opportunity costs of annualized capital investment and cash/material inventory while maximizing stockholder's benefit. No depletion of all the material and cash storage units is major constraints of the optimization. A novel production and inventory analysis formulation, the PSW(Periodic Square Wave) model, provides useful expressions for the upper/lower bounds and average level of the cash and material inventory holdups. The expressions for the Kuhn-Tucker conditions of the optimization problem can be reduced to two subproblems and analytical lot sizing equations under a mild assumption about the cash flow pattern of stockholder's dividend. The first subproblem is a separable concave minimization network flow problem whose solution yields the average material flow rates through the networks. The second subproblem determines the decisions about financial Investment. Finally, production and financial transaction lot sizes and startup times can be determined by analytical expressions as far as the average flow rates are calculated. The optimal production lot and storage sizes considering financial factors are smaller than those without such consideration. An illustrative example is presented to demonstrate the results obtainable using this approach.

The study proposes component models in developing an efficient platform for internet-based structural analysis. Since a structural analysis requires an operation of complicated algorithms, a client-side computation using X-Internet is preferred to a server-side computation to provide a flexible service for multi-users. To compete with the user-friendly interfaces of available commercial analysis programs, a window-based interface using Smart Client was applied. Also, component-based programming was performed with the considerations on reusability and expandability so that active Preparation for future change or modification could be feasible. The components describe the whole system by subdivision and simplification. In the relationship between upper-and lower-level components and also in the relationship between components and objects, a unified interface was used to clearly classify the connection between the libraries. By performing data communication between different types of platforms using XML WebService, a conner-stone of data transfer is proposed for the future integrated CAE. The efficiency of the developed platform has been examined through a sample structural analysis and design on planar truss structures.

This paper tried to analyze cases of one year team-based project of gifted students who spent two year programs in a math-IT integrated class as part of formative evaluation and extracted the factors associated with future enhancement for the program. The researcher as an advisory professor tried to guide the students as minimally as possible considering their levels of IT skills so that they could self-directedly perform the IT-fused project on a team basis. The data collection included documents, annual report, photos, video, artifacts and interview data with the students for the whole team project carried out between February and December, 2015. The overall pattern of the project activities has been stabilized in the middle of the course compared to the initial stages of brainstorming and design work even though the students revealed the differences of their programming skills and preferences toward the project theme. Their project outcomes were qualitatively analyzed according to the 9 steps of R&E model and has shown individual differences according to low, middle and high level. At the end, the analysis suggested several implications for further improvement of the mentorship program.

Integrated log management system can help to predict the risk of security and contributes to improve the security level of the organization, and leads to prepare an appropriate security policy. In this paper, we have designed and implemented a Hadoop-based log analysis system by using distributed database model which can store large amount of data and reduce analysis time by automating log collecting procedure. In the proposed system, we use the HBase in order to store a large amount of data efficiently in the scale-out fashion and propose an easy data storing scheme for analysing data using a Hadoop-based normal expression, which results in improving data processing speed compared to the existing system.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to analyze the trend of the number of nursing staffs and skill mix and to assess the effectiveness of hospital nurse expansion policies in Korea. Methods : The trend of the number of nursing staffs and skill mix were analyzed using time series data, which composed of yearly series data from 1975 to 2009. The impact of hospital nurse expansion policies was estimated by autoregressive integrated moving average(ARIMA) intervention model. Results : The number of general hospital and hospital nurses per 100 beds was decreased in late 1980s and late 1990s due to rapid growth of beds. As a result of the number of nurse aids per 100 beds decreased, skill mix became high in general hospital but nurse ratio among hospital nursing staffs was about 50%. Expansion of new nurse and revised differentiated inpatient fee were only effective in expansion of hospital nursing staffs. But they had no effect in general hospitals. Conclusion : In Korea, a few policies related to expansion of hospital nurses have an effect on increasing the number of hospital nurse. Nevertheless, level of hospital nursing staffs is inferior to that of general hospital.

Numerical simulations were done using depth integrated ADCIRC model in order to evaluate dynamic response on the inner Saemankeum reservoir due to flood flow and gate operation for the both situations of dike construction and inner development. According to 2-dimensional dynamic flood routing, temporal variation of hydrographs shows sensitive at upstream riverine region while it becomes stable from the center part of the reservoir due to sudden expansion of physical changes. Dynamic response of hydraulic changes such as water surface elevation and velocity on the inner region arises suddenly by gate operation and more rapidly after the inner development than dike construction. Temporal surface fluctuation arises during inflowging of outer sea water and propagates upstream up to 10km to 16km in accordance with inner development status.
This study approaches how newly emerged game companies has implemented strategies for product diversification according to market growth cycle(beginninggrowing-mature) by empirical case study through evolutionary theory and resource based theory approach. At the beginning, online game companies had grown with different strategies(technology based, service based) by initial condition(genre, technological level, user attribute). After market growth, for product diversification, these companies carried out path-dependent alliance strategy(complementary, competitive) depending on resource base(technology capacity, service capacity based). As online game market getting mature, these companies has adapted flexibly in responding to market growth cycle by integrated strategy(naturally selected to mobilize every possible resource capability). By analyzing the alliance strategies pattern of online game companies in newly emerged game industry according to market growth cycle through combination of resource based theory and evolutionary theory, these results suggest that new industrial, theoretical, policy model is required.
This paper analyzed the functional global entry process of firms by real business cases. We reviewed the global firm Zara and Uniqlo's functional global entry process by Malnight (1995) four-step model which is composed of appendage, participation, contribution, integration stages. We found that both Zara and Uniqlo made successful internationalization using integrated global value chain. However, Zara maintained the home-initiated internationalization strategy on whole value chain, Uniqlo operated subsidiary-initiated functional strategy in specific value chain activities. This study suggests that internationalization occurs at the level of the function, rather than the firm. In addition, this study suggests practical implication to Korean fashion firms that global firms should maintain the functional global entry strategy basing on firm's internationalization steps.
