인간공학적 선교통합알람장치의 개발을 위한 기초 연구 (On the Development of Ergonomic Integrated Bridge Alarm Management System)

  • 선박의 항해 계기들의 기술이 발전됨에 따라 많은 장비들이 개발되고 있으나 여전히 인적과실에 의한 사고는 줄어들고 있지 않다. 이에 인적과실에 의한 사고를 줄이기 위하여 선교의 항해 계기들은 인간공학적적으로 배치, 설계되었는지가 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. 선교내에서의 여러 계기 중 알람장치는 선교 근무자에게 그 알람 장치가 주고자 하는 정보를 가능한 빨리 인식하고 정확한 정보를 전달할 수 있도록 설계되어야 하며, 국제적으로 인간공학적 선교를 위한 알람장치(Bridge Alarm Management System : BAMS)의 필요성이 논의 되고 있으나 아직 실질적인 설계방법 등에 대해서는 논의가 이루어지고 있지 않다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 선박의 여러 설비 중 선교의 알람장치에 관한 인간공학적 개념의 설계에 대하여 알아보고 현재 개발, 운용중인 인간공학적 통합선교시스템(Integrated Bridge System : IBS)의 선교통합알람장치(Ergonomic Integrated Bridge Alarm Management System : EIBAMS)에 관한 개념적인 설계를 제안하고자 한다.

  • The CALS integrated database is a key information technology in which CALS implements an information sharing system to enable digital data transfers for technical and non-technical information in distributed and heterogeneous environments. Such heterogeneously distributed CALS information needs to be systematically incorporated so that it can provide a global data view for CALS users. In this paper, we investigated the technologies of CALS integrated database, and proposed a system prototype to implement an integrated data environment (IDE) utilizing distributed object environments CORBA (Common Object Request Broker Architecture).

  • Switching system can be regarded as the key node of Integrated Services Digital Networks(ISDN) because it plays the Important role in realization of ISDN. As ISDN is evolved from the telephony Integrated Digital Network(IDN), the switching system for ISDN will be evolved from the function and structure of telephony digital switching system. At near future, ISDN switching system is expected to implement the integrated access and transparent switching functions for both voice and data. As final goals of switching system, advanced switching methods for information having various traffic characteristics such as voice, data, text and image should be considered. This paper considered. This paper will show some of the fundamental design challenges and architectural trends in ISDN switching system.

Design of Multi-Sensor-Based Open Architecture Integrated Navigation System for Localization of UGV

  • The UGV is one of the special field robot developed for mine detection, surveillance and transportation. To achieve successfully the missions of the UGV, the accurate and reliable navigation data should be provided. This paper presents design and implementation of multi-sensor-based open architecture integrated navigation for localization of UGV. The presented architecture hierarchically classifies the integrated system into four layers and data communications between layers are based on the distributed object oriented middleware. The navigation manager determines the navigation mode with the QoS information of each navigation sensor and the integrated filter performs the navigation mode-based data fusion in the filtering process. Also, all navigation variables including the filter parameters and QoS of navigation data can be modified in GUI and consequently, the user can operate the integrated navigation system more usefully. The conventional GPS/INS integrated system does not guarantee the long-term reliability of localization when GPS solution is not available by signal blockage and intentional jamming in outdoor environment. The presented integration algorithm, however, based on the adaptive federated filter structure with FDI algorithm can integrate effectively the output of multi-sensor such as 3D LADAR, vision, odometer, magnetic compass and zero velocity to enhance the accuracy of localization result in the case that GPS is unavailable. The field test was carried out with the UGV and the test results show that the presented integrated navigation system can provide more robust and accurate localization performance than the conventional GPS/INS integrated system in outdoor environments.

고장물리 기반 자동차 서스펜션 모듈 내구설계 (PoF based Fatigue Durability Analysis of Automobile Suspension Module)

  • In the manufacture of automobile suspension modules at a company as parts supplier, the design process includes the detail design and the design modification via structural and fatigue durability analyses considering PoF(physics of failure) of their weldments that are repeated more than four times sequentially. The approval of the design and the release of final drawings follows. For the suspension modules, e.g. control arms and cross member, the man-hours per worker required in the process outlined above can reach as high as 1,414hours. Application of the developed integrated design system can reduce the man-hours of 1,004. In comparison with the conventional design process, this integrated design system reduces the required time by about 40%. If expense is taken into account, a savings of approximately $192,000 is estimated, assuming the design process accounts for 1.5% of total sales for the parts supplier

  • Nowadays there are numerous factors to design the structure even for simple one, but many parts of the work are similar to the existing or repeated simply. In this case, design of the structure is unnecessarily needed lots of effort and time. To solve difficulties of design, an integrated design automation system for retaining wall structures that widely used is developed. The automation system consists of following items, 1) XML data structure between modules, 2) CAD visualization system to provide drawing sheets, 3) excel solution to provide structural design sheets and bills of quantity, 4) design logic to analysis and calculate behaviors of structure, and 5) GUI to represent data and results for the program.

EAD 기반 영구기록물 통합검색시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of an EAD-based Integrated Retrieval System for the Archives in Korea)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 기존 국내 영구기록물관리기관의 검색시스템을 하나의 통합된 검색과 상호 데이터 교환으로 그 사용성을 높이고자 새로운 통합검색시스템을 설계하고 구현하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 국내 영구기록물관리기관의 검색 시스템 현황을 분석하여 국내 환경에 적합한 EAD의 요소를 선정하였다. 선정된 EAD 요소를 기반으로 새로운 검색시스템(가칭 한국영구기록물 통합검색시스템, KAIRS)을 설계하였고, 기존의 두 영구기록물관리기관의 시스템을 에뮬레이션을 통하여 새로운 검색시스템을 구현하였다. 사용성 평가결과 새롭게 구현된 KAIRS가 기존 시스템보다 높은 만족도를 보였다.

SUV 차량의 전륜 및 후륜 조향 장치를 이용한 통합운동제어시스템 설계 (Development of Integrated Dynamics Control System of SUV Vehicle with Front and Rear Steering System)

  • In order to improve stability and controllability of SUV vehicle, Integrated Dynamics Control system with Steering system (IDCS) was developed. Eight degree of freedom vehicle model and front and rear steering system model were used to design IDCS system. It also employs Fuzzy logic control method to design integrate control system. The performance of IDCS was evaluated with two road conditions and several driving conditions. The result shows that SUV vehicle with IDCS tracked the reference yaw rate under all tested conditions. IDCS reduced the body slip angle also. It represents IDCS improves vehicle stability and steerability.

  • BIM technologies store, share and integrate the information produced in each sector of the construction industry. From this point on, it increases the efficiency of the work. Currently, quantity take-off and process schedule are derived separately based on BIM technology. When calculating the quantity by process, relevant information shall be collected, reinterpreted, and reevaluated as required by the practice. The purpose of this study is to develop an integrated process and quantity management system through BIM collaboration and to build prototypes for steel structures. The main research is to build a construction BIM model for steel structures and a process BIM model through BIM collaboration. Furthermore, necessary information was selected and processed according to the user's needs for integrated management. Relevant integration outcomes are visualized graphically to maximize utilization. Through these studies, a system for integrated control of processes and supplies is provided, and the results are expected to contribute to the improvement of working efficiency and are easily and quickly reflected in design change and process change. In this study, we intended to enhance the usability of information by linking process schedules with quantity calculations based on BIM. Thus, the process for integrated control of the quantity of structural components by process unit and the BIM based schedule information was established. In addition, the efficiency of the information link of the integrated management system was considered for design changes and process schedule changes.

  • In order to acquire high-speed and high-precision performances in servomechanisms, an integrated design method have been proposed. Based on strict mathematical modeling and analysis of system performance according to design and operating parameters, a nonlinear constrained optimization problem including the relevant subsystem parameters of the servomechanism is formulated. Optimum design results of mechanical and electrical parameters are obtained according to the design parameters specified by designers through the integrated design processes. Motors are optimally selected from the servo motor database. Both the geometric errors referring to Abbe offset and the contour errors are minimized while required constraints such as stability conditions and saturated conditions are satisfied. This design methodology both offers the improved possibility to evaluate and optimize the dynamic motion performance of the servomechanism and improves the quality of the design process to achieve the required performance for high-speed/precision servomechanisms.
