Pressboard의 펄프 및 수처리 조건에 따른 전기적 특성에 관한 연구 (A study on the Electrical Properties of Pressboard with Pulps and treatment Water)

  • Power transformer has been expected to work with safety and reliability during the long period over 30 years. Pressboard has been effectively used as the insulating materials of transformer and they seem to be used as in insulating materials of transformer. This paper describes the results of a basic study on the electric strength, resistivity, permittivity and dielectric loss properties of pressboard to be made with some kinds of pulp and different waters.

  • Electrical stress makes insulating materials aged finally resulting in the dielectric failure. It becomes more and more important to recognize the degree of aging and the life time of the insulating materials since it is directly concerned with the reliability of the insulation system. In this paper, the life time of the Cross-linked Polyethylene(XLPE), the insulation layer in the 154kV-grade power cable, is expected and calculated using statistical and mathematical methods. The simulated results are compared with experimental ones and the life exponent of the material is obtained.

  • Today, electrical machine is being large capacitor and EHV(Extra High Voltage) of power equipment is a need of high reliability of insulating matetials. Therefore, it is a need of fixed appraisement of lifetime to used data of breakdown. This paper studied a development of the program for estimation the lifetime of insullating materials and the long-time breakdown voltage by experimentation. The estimation program is based on the "Inverse Power Law", defined V$\^$n/t is constant. After gaining the life exponent n, it is mapping the long-time breakdown voltages. On the base of life exponent, the estimation of lifetime and usefulness of the insulation systems are possible, furthermore easy calculation is possible.

Bilevel-programming based failure-censored ramp-stress ALTSP for the log-logistic distribution with warranty cost

  • In this paper accelerated life testing is incorporated in quality control technique of acceptance sampling plan to induce early failures in high reliability products.Stress under accelerated condition can be applied in constant-stress, step-stress and progressive-stress or combination of such loadings. A ramp-stress results when stress is increased linearly (from zero) with time. In this paper optimum failure-censored ramp-stress accelerated life test sampling plan for log-logistic distribution has been formulated with cost considerations. The log-logistic distribution has been found appropriate for insulating materials. The optimal plans consist in finding optimum sample size, sample proportion allocated to each stress, and stress rate factor such that producer's and consumer's interests are safeguarded. Variance optimality criterion is used when expected cost per lot is not taken into consideration, and bilevel programming approach is used in cost optimization problems. The methods developed have been illustrated using some numerical examples, and sensitivity analyses carried out in the context of ramp-stress ALTSP based on variable SSP for proportion nonconforming.

  • SF_6 gas has been increasingly used as the insulating and arc-suppressing medium in switchgears which are used as the protection devices of power system. Nowadays, with these trends, SF_6 load break switches have rapidly substituted for the air or oil-type load break switches, in order to get higher reliability. And, the national standard was made for reliability assessment of SF_6 gas load break switch and testing facilities was also set in KERI(Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute ). This paper introduces the synopsis for the reliability assessment requirements specified in the standard and the assessment results.

  • $SF_6$ gas has been increasingly used as the insulating and arc-suppressing medium in switchgears which are used as the protection devices of power system. Nowadays, most of power companies adopted the $SF_6$ gas-type load break switch for increasing the reliability of distribution network by its superior durability against external environmental condition, in substitution for air-type and oil-type switches. But, it is important to establish the general estimation process for the testing and estimation for long-term reliability Accordingly, the national standard(RS C0031) was made for the reliability assessment of $SF_6$ gas load break switch and the testing facilities were also set in KERI(Korea Electrotechlology Research Institute). This paper presents the requirements of RS C0031 for reliability assessment of $SF_6$ gas load break switch and synopsis of the accelerated life testing facilities for $SF_6$ gas load break switch.

  • In this study, the DC dielectric breakdown of epoxy composites used for molding material was experimented and then its data were simulated by Weibull distribution equation. From the analysis of Weibull distribution, it was confirmed that as the allowed breakdown probability was given by 0.1[%], the applied field value needed to be under 21.5[kV/mm].

  • The objective of this study was to analyze the determinant factors in the new agricultural technology acceptance targeted to the automatic switchgear for heat-retaining mulching used on the oriental melons farms. The probit and the logit models were estimated using survey data. The result indicated that the level of income, innovativeness, and reliability are important factors of the new agricultural technology acceptance. Therefore, it is considered the level of income, innovativeness, and reliability in advance to extend the new agricultural technology quickly.

  • Despite otherwise advantageous properties, the performance and reliability of devices manufactured in β-Ga2O3 on semi-insulating Ga2O3 substrates may degrade because of poorly mitigated self-heating, which results from the low thermal conductivity of Ga2O3 substrates. In this work, we investigate and compare self-heating and device performance of β-Ga2O3 MESFETs on substrates of semi-insulating Ga2O3 and 4H-SiC. Electron mobility in β-Ga2O3 is negatively affected by increasing lattice temperature, which consequently also negatively influences device conductance. The superior thermal conductivity of 4H-SiC substrates resulted in reduced β-Ga2O3 lattice temperatures and, thus, mitigates MESFET drain current degradation. This, in turn, allows practically reduced device dimensions without deteriorating the performance and improved device reliability.
