본 논문은 4K UHD 입력 영상에 대한 HEVC 고속 부호화를 위하여 대부분의 상용 CPU 및 AP 에서 사용되고 있는 SIMD (Single Instruction Mutiple Data) 명령어를 사용한 고속의 정수 화소 단위 움직임 추정 방법에 대한 연구이다. 특히, IT 기기에서의 고속 동영상 부호화를 위해 기존의 SIMD 명령어를 개량하여 동일한 CPU 실행시간에 다수의 움직임 추정을 수행할 수 있는 SIMD 명령어를 사용하여 보다 같은 실행시간에 보다 넓은 영역에 대한 움직임 벡터 탐색을 수행할 수 있도록 Search Box 기법을 새로이 개발하고 이를 토대로 기존 HEVC 에서 사용되고 있는 움직임 추정 방법에 대하여 연산시간을 줄이는 동시에 화질 열화를 최소화 시킬 수 있는 방법에 대하여 논한다.

최근 디지털 당송과 이동통신 단말기의 대중화가 이루어짐에 따라 고화질 고해상도의 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 이동통신 단말기에서의 재생 서비스에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있다 이동통신 단말기에서 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 재생 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 디지털 방송 컨텐츠를 단말기에 적합한 컨텐츠로 변환할 필요가 있다. 본 논문은 디지털 방송 규격인 MPEG-2 컨텐츠를 이동통신 단말기에서 지원하는 MPEG-4 SP(Simple Profile) 컨텐츠로 실시간으로 변환하는 트랜스 코더에 대한 설계와 구현 기술을 제안한다. 구현된 트래스코더는 화질 유지와 계산량 감소를 위한 적응적 움직임벡터 재구성, 매크로블록 모드 선택, 그리고 움직임벡터 scaling 등의 알고리즘을 포함하고, 인텔사에서 제공하는 SIMD(Single Instruction Multiple Data) 명령어를 이용하여 최적화되었다. 트랜스코더는 30fps, 8Mbps, $720\times480$ 해상도의 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 다양한 비트율의 30fps, $352\times240$ 해상도의 MPEG-4 컨텐츠로 실시간 변환할 수 있다.

Social Skills are one of the most important competency for student who live in the future Society. The purpose of this study is to propose a Forum Theatre Instruction utilizing smart devices as an alternative teaching and learning methods for enhancing the social skills of students, and to examine the effect of this instruction on the improvement of it. In order to achieve the purpose, the class was designed based on the 'Procedural Instructional Model for FTI using Digital Media', and the effectiveness of it was verified using 'SSIS'. FTI can be composed of six classes, and results of paired t-test showed that it was effective in enhancing students' social skills. Reflecting the interview results of the participant, the further requirements for improvement and efficient use of FTI were suggested.

The purpose of this study is to analyze media in the elementary moral textbooks with the information processing model and suggest some ways to boost media literacy within the school library. In this study, the three national moral curriculum for the 4th, 5th and 6th elementary students are assayed. As the results of analysis, the inputs of the elementary moral textbooks are bias toward pictures (visual media) and stories (printed media), its' processing focus on investigation and workbooks using the table and its' outputs are based on the writing, speaking and making (creating). But there are so lack of specific activities to achieve relevant information form the media and the reading strategies of visual media as the elements of inputs. The school library should serve various reading materials considering the develop of reading interest, make workbooks for learning strategies according to the text types and try to secure collaborative teaching time to resolve the bias toward media of inputs, increase information processing activities and improve students' media literacy.

The main purpose of the school library is to present the various kinds of instructional media for an effective instruction including not only books, but also audiovisual materials and equipments. But unfortunately our school libraries have only books for the students and faculties at this time. But hereafter school library should house the various kinds of audiovisual media as well as printed media for the promotion of scholarstic achivemint. With a view to promoting the teaching method, and at the same time improving the scholarstic achivement of the students, instructional media were used in the class. To verify the efficiency of the instructional media, transparencies were used in the social science class of the 1st grade in the middle school and the natural science class of the 1st grade in the high school. In consequence, the academic achievement of the experimental class in which instructional media were used is superior to that of controlled class in which the textbook was only used. In < Social Science I >, the mean difference between the experimental class and the controlled class is 4.199 marks. And the difference, 0.032 is verified as a significant value in concordance to the t-test. In < Natural Science I >, the mean difference of the experimental class over the controlled class is 6.333. And the difference, 0.034 is verified as a significant value in concordance to the t-test. As shown in the above experimental research, using various kinds of the instructional media is more efficient than using textbook only. As a result of the questionaire on using the instructional media, most of the students desire to use of them continually because the use of the instructional media induce the interest, promote the comprehension, and entice the development of better memories.

In this paper, we propose a new addressing mode, which can be used for programmable image processor to perform image-processing algorithms effectively. Conventional addressing modes are suitable for one-dimensional data processing such as voice, but the proposed addressing mode consider two-dimensional characteristics of image data. The proposed instruction for two-dimensional addressing requires two operands to specify a pixel and doesn't require any change of memory architecture. The proposed two-dimensional addressing mode for image processor has the following advantages. The proposed instruction combines several instructions to load a pixel data from an external memory to a register. Hence, the proposed instruction reduces required code size so that it satisfies high performance and low power requirements of image processor. In addition, it uses inherent two-dimensional characteristics of image data and offers user-friendly instruction to assembler programmer The proposed two-dimensional addressing mode is applicable to DSP, media processor, graphic device, and so on. In this paper, we propose a new concept of two-dimensional addressing mode and an efficient hardware implementation method of it.

Over the past few years, training professionals have become more pragmatic in their approach to technology-based media by using it to augment traditional forms of training delivery, such as classroom instruction and text-based materials. This trend has led to the rise of the term blended learning. Blended learning, an environment of e-learning, is a powerful learning solution created through a mixture of face-to-face and online learning delivered through a mix of media and superior learning experiences. In this article we design and implement an e-learning environment for blended learning. The environment focused on following factors: learning activity and participation of learners, and real time feedback of instructor.

When the present Learning System for Computer-Related Subjects Using WBI is implemented on the Web with the above characteristics to help students to study computer subjects without any limitations of time or space, they can easily attain the goals of learning, have computer-utilizing abilities or information capacity, and enhance their capabilities for self-initiative learning. This system enables the learners to carry out 'plan-do-see' for the contents of learning initiatively. The learners can study the practice part of the curriculum using multi-media, such as motion pictures, voices, images, and sound effects, vividly with a sense of actual presence. It helps the students to have an active attitude toward leaning afterward. without meeting the teacher or without any storage media, the leaners can submit their assignments or materials for performance evaluation via the Internet.

The school library standards. a guideline encouraging the reasonable library administration for school education that began with early quantity in 1920, has been changed as an information power in 1988 after 7th revision. The school library is highlighted as a gear of education process and the center of education change. The major summary is as follows: First. the name of librarian has been changed from teacher's librarian to school library media specialist that executes as a leader for participating in plan. performance and development of instruction. Second. the type of material has been changed from book to electronic media. Also, the number of book per capital has been increased from 6-8(1920) to 23-28(1988) Finally, the function of school library has been changed from space service into proactive service which is playing the role of the heart of school education process based on information skill.

In order to improve and promote immersive learning experiences for English as a Second Language (ESL) students, the deployment of a YOLOv5 model for object identification in videos is proposed. The procedure includes collecting annotated datasets, preparing the data, and then fine-tuning a model using the YOLOv5 framework. The study's major objective is to integrate a well-trained model into ESL instruction in order to analyze the effectiveness of AI application in the field.
