  • Recently, the use of IPMSM is coming to be active, in many industrial applications. In sensorless drive of IPMSM, it is important to know the exact information of the initial rotor position, because the wrong estimation of the initial rotor position brings about the decrease of the starting torque, or a temporary reverse revolution, In addition, PMSM is necessary to use the accurate information of the inductance for the precise torque control owing to the reluctance torque. In this paper presents initial rotor position estimation method and, measure method of the each-axis inductance. And to minimize the speed estimations error, the estimated speeds are compensated by using an instantaneous reactive power in synchronously rotating reference frame.

  • This paper describes a new approach to estimating permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) speed and position from measured terminal voltages and currents for speed-sensorless vector control. The proposed system is based on observing the instantaneous reactive power of the motor. The described technique is very simple and robust to variations of motor parameters. The new approach is not dependent upon the value of the stator resistance. Also, MRAS schemes are chosen for determining the adaptive law for the speed and the position estimator. The effectiveness is verified by the experimental results.

  • A new non linear, mean value, instantaneous following control technique to design half bridge converter is proposed in witch control principle uses characteristic that reset time of analog integrator is inverse proportion In input voltage. It is Important characteristic that compensation and follow-up control time are same with switching frequency. Is completed in one cycle that base control frequency. Have excellence characteristic that follow in order instruction value exactly stationary state as well as transient state. Half bridge converter that apply this control principle can know that have stabilize and excellence characteristic. This technique is verified through an experiment, and know that experiment result and theory agree well.

Analysis on Torque, Flowrate, and Volumetric Displacement of Gerotor Pump/Motor

  • It is difficult to analytically derive the relationship among volumetric displacement, flowrate, torque, and rotation speed regarding an instantaneous position of gerotor hydraulic pumps/motors. This can be explained by the geometric shape of the rotors, which is highly complicated. Herein, an analytical method for the instantaneous torque, rotation speed, flowrate, and volumetric displacement of a pump/motor is proposed. The method is based on two physical concepts: energy conservation and torque equilibrium. The instantaneous torque of a pump/motor shaft is determined for the posture of rotors from the torque equilibrium. If the torque equilibrium is combined with the energy conservation between the hydraulic energy of the pump/motor and the mechanical input/output energy, the formula for determining the instantaneous volumetric displacement and flowrate is derived. The numerical values of the instantaneous volumetric displacement, torque, rotation speed, and flowrate are calculated via the MATLAB software programs, and they are illustrated for the case in which inner and outer rotors rotate with respect to fixed axes. The degrees of torque fluctuation, speed fluctuation, and flowrate fluctuation can be observed from their instantaneous values. The proposed formula may provide a better understanding of the design or analysis process of gerotor pumps/motors.

  • The parallel inverter is popularly used because of its fault-tolerance capability, high-current outputs at constant voltages and system modularity. The conventional parallel inverter usually employs active and reactive power control of frequency and voltage droop control. However, these approaches have the disadvantages that the response time of parallel inverter control is slow against load and system parameter variation to calculate active, reactive power, frequency and voltage. This paper describes a novel control scheme for power equalization in parallel-connected inverter. The proposed scheme has a fast power balance control response, a simplicity of implementation, and inherent peak current limiting capability since it employees an instantaneous current/voltage control with output voltage and current balance and output voltage regulation. A design procedure for the proposed parallel inverter controller is presented. Furthermore, the proposed control scheme is verified through the experiment in various cases such as the system parameter variation, the control parameter variation and the nonlinear load condition.

  • This paper proposes a new control strategy of bidirectional uninterruptible power supply(UPS) with the performance of active power filter which compensate the harmonics and reactive power. To improve the transient response for the effective compensation in active power filter mode, it is considered that a simple and precise calculation method of the compensation reference current for the harmonics and reactive power compensation. So a novel closed-loop control strategy is used to calculate the reference current. And the current regulated instantaneous voltage control scheme is used in back-up power mode. The system model and control algorithm are described and analyzed, and the system Performance is verified by the simulation and experimental results.

마이크로그리드에서 SOC균형을 고려한 ESS의 충·방전 전력배분 방법 (Power Allocation Method for Multiple ESS Control Considering SOC Balancing in Microgrids)

  • In this paper, multiple ESS(Energy Storage System) control strategy for microgrids is presented. Installation of ESS becomes mandatory when microgrids are used to supply high quality power to the loads. The one of main functions of the ESS is to maintain power balance. However ESS has limitation of its capacity and instantaneous injecting power. Power allocation method based on SOC(State Of Charge) of each ESS is proposed. P-Q control is employed as the basic control strategy for the distributed ESSs. By using the proposed method, the coefficients in the conventional P-Q control method are modified. The ESSs with higher SOC inject more active power, while those with lower SOC inject less, leading to more balanced SOC levels among the ESSs. The proposed method is demonstrated by simulation using PSCAD/EMTDC.

  • The relation between instantaneous active/reactive powers and currents is defined by voltage mapping matrix in three-phase four-wire systems. Control strategies for an active filter without energy storage components are proposed on the basis of mapping matrices. It can compensate for the zero-sequence current, irrespectively of whether or not a zero-sequence voltage exists in a three-phase four-wire system.

  • 본 논문에서는 PQR 순시전력 이론을 적용하여 3상 4선식 배전망에서 전원전압의 불평형 및 왜곡에 강인하게 동작하는 전력용 능동 필터의 제어기를 디지털적으로 설계한다. 인버터의 교류측 필터의 특성을 분석하고, 디지털 제어시스템이 내재적으로 갖고 있는 시간지연문제를 극복할 수 있는 우수한 성능의 제어기구조를 제안하며, 제어 이득을 설계한다. 전류 고조파 및 중성선 전류 고조파를 감소시키기 위하여 제어기 구조와 3중 비교삼각파 사용을 제안하고 제어 이득을 설계하였다. 디지털 구현이 용이한 삼각파 비교 PWM을 보상전류 제어 방식으로 채택하였다. 설계된 전력용 능동 필터를 PSiM 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검증하고 전류 응답성이 뛰어난 히스테리시스 PMW 결과와 비교 분석하였다.

소프트 절환이 가능한 계통 연계형 CTTS 시스템 구성에 관한 연구 (A Study on System Configuration of Grid-connected CTTS System with Soft Switching)

  • This paper proposes a grid - connected CTTS system that can be soft switched to meet the government's effective resource allocation policy for emergency generator. In order to eliminate the system instability caused by the large inrush current generation in the system switching, a new virtual rotation coordinate method for the dissimilar power source is proposed. The proposed virtual rotation coordinate method improves the voltage detection accuracy of the voltage difference of the dissimilar power supply, and it is proved that the synchronous switching characteristic is excellent. In addition, zero current and system stabilization can be achieved by realizing zero current when blocking CTTS with instantaneous reactive power control. Simulation was carried out to verify the validity of the proposed method, and the 500[kVA] system was fabricated and verified to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method.
