The number of high-rise buildings has increased year after year, with there currently being 5 projects in progress to construct buildings higher than 100 stories in Seoul alone. The construction cost for such high-rise buildings is significantly higher than the cost for a conventional low-rise building, while maintenance costs are expected to be two to three times higher. To reduce the maintenance cost of a high-rise building, there is the need for a guide rail to be used for maintenance, which is why there is the need for research on the guide rail system. For this reason, as preliminary research to develop a guide rail, this study aims to derive the factors increasing construction cost by taking the installation of a guide rail into account. This is expected to lay the groundwork for the design and construction of guide rails for high-rise building maintenance.

This paper proposes the allocation method for capacitor-reactor banks in a distribution system with dispersed generators to reduce the installation costs, the maintenance costs and minimize the loss of electrical energy. The expected lifetime and maintenance period of devices with moving parts depends on the total number of operations, which affects the replacement and maintenance period for aging equipment under a limited budget. In this paper, the expected device lifetimes and the maintenance period are included in the formulation, and the optimal operation status of the devices is determined using a genetic algorithm. The optimal numbers and locations for capacitor-reactor banks are determined based on the optimal operation status. Simulation results in a 69-bus distribution system with the dispersed generator show that the proposed technique performs better than conventional methods.

본 연구에서는 경부고속도로 일부구간(신갈JC~수원신갈IC)에 압전에너지 하베스터를 설치한 후 수확된 전력으로 주거지의 가로등 전력을 대체하는 정책에 대한 비용편익분석을 실시하였다. 이때 비시장재효과인 하베스터 설치에 따른 주민의 사회적 편익은 구체적으로 지역 주민의 삶의 질 향상 효과, Blackout 대비효과 등을 포함하며 조건부가치측정법을 사용하여 추정하였다. 분석 결과 압전 에너지하베스팅 기술의 고속도로 적용은 사회적 편익효과를 고려하였을 때 경제성이 있는 것으로 나타났다.

조명시스템의 경제성에 크게 영향을 주는 요소들을 보면 초기 설비비, 보수비, 전기요금 등이 있다. 이 중에서 보수비는 램프 교환비, 램프교환 인건비, 청소비로 구성되어 있으므로 부소계획에 따라서 조명시스템의 경제성이 다르게 나타난다. 따라서 설계초기에 어떠한 조명시스템이 경제적으로 유리한가를 예측하는 것은 중요하다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 평균조도를 계산하는데 사용되는 ZCM에서의 보수율 구성 요소들을 변화시켜 보수율을 산정한 다음 조명시스템의 경제성을 평가하여 보수율의 중요성을 보였다.

The objective of this study was to draw the most suitable plan of an automatic domestic solid waste collection system for land development area. The results of this study indicated that the most suitable plan is identified as a land development area larger than 3,600,000 $m^2$ located in the metropolitan area with an incinerator system (or MBT). There are the cases smaller than the standard area but this may cause additional allotment from the residents. According to a rating method to compute the size of the most suitable plan, installation of an automatic clean network has to be minimized if the rated score is below 2.0. On the other hand, the installation is required if the rated score is above 2.5. For a certain circumstance, a cautious decision has to be made for installation of the automatic domestic solid waste collection system by considering the influence of the initial cost, sale price, residential allotment, and maintenance cost on the land development.

Trend of mechanical ventilation system applied to apartment house is introduced and feasibility study on installation of the individual room control ventilation as energy-saving method is carried out through field experiment. While initial cost of installation for the individual room control ventilation increases, the running cost is lower than the individual household control ventilation due to automatic flow rate control and reduction of fan power, and the management cost also decreases due to extension of use life of components. As the results of field experiment on $115m^2$-type apartment house, the individual room control ventilation could save the amount of 1,459.5Wh/day when compared with the individual room control ventilation

Various compensators are installed into the power system to operate the system economically and stably by maximizing the availability of utilities and power transmission capability. Fixed Capacitor(FC), Mechanical Switched Capacitor(MSC), and FACTS(Flexible AC Transmission Systems) are used to regulate voltage and power flow of the system. When a disturbance occurs in the power system, the Fixed Capacitor operates dependently on the voltage of the power system and cannot change the amount of installation automatically. But compared to other equipment, the Fixed Capacitor is more economical due to its low cost. Since MSC can change the amount of installation according to the state of the power system, operates more effectively than the Fixed Capacitor. FACTS have fast dynamic performance for the transient condition, but the cost is high. Therefore, it is needed to develop an optimized installation planning for the reactive power compensators by considering their dynamic performance and cost. In this paper, an optimized compensator combination and the proposed scheme is proposed and it is applied to KEPCO system in order to show its capabilities.

Low-cost and automated isolux diagram measurement system are investigated. The system is constructed with illuminance measurement array, analog multiplexer, A/D converter and 16-bit microcomputer. The experimental results show good agreement with the measured illuminance values. Decreasing the measure-spacing, the more accurate diagram can be obtained.

고속도로 신설 및 확장공사는 국가의 기반시설을 설치하기 위한 대규모 공공사업으로 정확한 산출근거에 의해 공사비용을 산정하여 적정 예산을 책정하여야 한다. 그러나 현재 고속도로 신설 침 확장공사의 구조물 해체 비용은 단지 구조물 설치 비용에 표준품셈에 명기된 일정 비율($10\~70\%$)을 곱하여 산정되고 있다. 해체 비용 산정에 이용되고 있는 표준품셈 상의 일정 비율은 과거 실적데이터를 기반으로 구축된 것이 아니라 해외 산정방식을 참고로 공사 관리자의 주관적 경험을 적용하여 도출된 것이다. 설치비에 일정비율을 곱하여 해체 비용을 산정하는 기존 방식은 프로젝트의 특성 및 건설현장의 주변 여건을 고려할 수 없으므로 노무량 및 장비 투임량의 변화를 고려할 수 없는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 다양한 현장 조사 및 실측을 통한 해체 공사비 원가 분석을 수행하여 구조물 해체를 위한 적정원가 산정기준을 제시하고 기존 비율단가 적용방식의 적정성을 검토하고자 한다.

This paper gives a feasibility reference of integrating power automation for digital substation. An overview and techno-economical potential of IEC61850 are introduced. The result of economic analysis is shown to save up to one-third of the total cost of automation installation. The gained benefits can be used to increase the economy and reliability of electrical power system.
