With the development of quantum computer, the development of the quantum-inspired search method applying the features of quantum mechanics and its application to engineering problems have emerged as one of the most interesting research topics. This algorithm stores information by using quantum-bit superposed basically by zero and one and approaches optional values through the quantum-gate operation. In this process, it can easily keep the balance between the two features of exploration and exploitation, and continually accumulates evolutionary information. This makes it differentiated from the existing search methods and estimated as a new algorithm as well. Thus, this study is to suggest a new minimum weight design technique by applying quantum-inspired search method into structural optimization of planar truss. In its mathematical model for optimum design, cost function is minimum weight and constraint function consists of the displacement and stress. To trace the accumulative process and gathering process of evolutionary information, the examples of 10-bar planar truss and 17-bar planar truss are chosen as the numerical examples, and their results are analyzed. The result of the structural optimized design in the numerical examples shows it has better result in minimum weight design, compared to those of the other existing search methods. It is also observed that more accurate optional values can be acquired as the result by accumulating evolutionary information. Besides, terminal condition is easily caught by representing Quantum-bit in probability.

The development of new technology and process in industrial Plant which builds integrated structures, facilities and systems. Has become a key element for strengthening its competitiveness. Although domestic industrial Plant has demonstrated excellence in technology with a persistent increase in order quantity and orders received, the technology gap between countries has narrowed due to global construction trend. Therefore, it is necessary to develop new technology that could help overcome constraints and limitations of the current one to follow the trend in the age of unlimited competition. This study has focused on assembly technology of Pipe-rack joint connection in an effort to strengthen technological competitiveness in industrial Plant. Through an analysis of earlier studies on Pipe-rack and a coMParative analysis of strengths and weaknesses of current assembly technology of it, a new design plan has been made to improve it efficiently. In doing this, standards for design factors of both structural and performance features have been drawn, and value of stress, strain, moment and rotation has been calculated using finite element analysis. As a result, installation technology of modular type Pipe-rack, which has not been developed in Korea and is differentiated from the current one, has been developed. It is considered that the technology reduces work time and saves cost due to simplified joint connection of steel structure, unlike the current one. Moreover, since it is installed without a welding process in the field, industrial accidents would be reduced, which is likely to have economic competitiveness and satisfy.

For cracked concrete, it is obvious that cracks should be preferential channel for the penetration of aggressive substances such as chloride ions according to the previous researches. In order to extend the lifetime of cracked concrete, critical issues in the performance of the concrete is the risk of chloride-induced corrosion. Even though crack width can be reduced due to the high reinforcement ratio, the question is to which extend these cracks may jeopardize the durability of cracked concrete. If the size of crack is small, surface treatment system can be considered as one of the best options to extend the service life of concrete structures exposed to marine environment simply in terms of cost effectiveness versus durability performance. Thus, it should be decided to undertake an experimental study on the effect of surface coating system, which can be able to seal the concrete and the cracks to aggressive substances-induced corrosion in particular. In this study, it is excuted to examine the effect of surfaced treated systems on chloride penetration and carbonation through compressive stress induced cracks. Experimental results have showed conclusively that critical stress linked with deterioration, should be existed in compressive stress ratio 50 ~ 70% for chloride penetration and 70 ~ 80% for carbonation, respectively. When the critical stress is exceeded in concrete, a comparatively large deterioration was measured where the critical stress in concrete, the increase in the mass transportation is marginal in spite of the large increase in micro-cracks. As for the effect of surface coating system on crack-sealing, it can be seen conclusively that cracks can be healed.

As amount of waste matter rapidly increases with fast growth of cities and industry, how to dispose them has arisen as an important problem. Current policy of the government on disposal of waste is repressing generation of waste itself and in case of already generated waste, resource cycle waste management system that recycles waste after proper environmental process is getting established. Therefore recycling of waste and industrial by-products is rising hugely. One of largely wasted matters is waste gypsum, which was categorized as designated waste but changed to general since 1994. Due to disposal cost and lack of impurities removal technology, recycling of it was quite low. However, as impurities removal technology using semi-dried desulfurization process is developed lately, study on recycling of waste gypsum is going on lively. This study examines possibility of utilizing waste gypsum as alternative for concrete cement and analyzed attributes of waste gypsum before and after ball mill process to find out proper alternation ratio, and conducted strength and property tests on concrete subject whose percentage of cement use is substituted with 0, 5.0, 7.5, 10.0 and 12.5% of waste gypsum.

Recently, the maintenance activity for aging of bridge structures was difficult because of traffic jam, environment pollution and increasing cost. And to solve these problems, modular bridge research has been studied. After static and cyclic loading test was conducted for serviceability and bending performance with one way slab, effective moment of inertia of modular specimen was analyzed to estimate the deflection by KCI(2012). To conduct the test, one integral slab and three modular slabs were made for static loading and one integral and modular slab were made for cyclic. As a result of the test, the modular slab had the similar bending performance of the integral. But the ultimate deflection showed the insufficient which was smaller than 20%. In the cyclic loading test, the modular slab has different behavior of deflection with the integral, so it was evaluated difficult for serviceability. In addition, effective moment of inertia by KCI(2012) was not estimated for modular slab with connection. The new value of m which was ratio between moments is 4.53 based on result of test for predicting deflection of modular.

Voice over IP (VoIP) is a technology for the delivery of voice communications and multimedia sessions over Internet Protocol (IP) networks. Instead of being transmitted over a circuit-switched network, however, the digital information is packetized, and transmission occurs in the form of IP packets over a packet-switched network which consist of several layers of computers. VoIP Service that used the various techniques has many advantages such as a voice Service, multimedia and additional service with cheap cost and so on. But the various frauds arises using VoIP because VoIP has the existing vulnerabilities at the Internet and based on complex technologies, which in turn, involve different components, protocols, and interfaces. According to research results, during in 2012, 46 % of fraud calls being made in VoIP. The revenue loss is considerable by fraud call. Among we will analyze for Toll Bypass Fraud by the SIM Box that occurs mainly on the international call, and propose the measures that can detect. Typically, proposed solutions to detect Toll Bypass fraud used DPI(Deep Packet Inspection) based on a variety of detection methods that using the Signature or statistical information, but Fraudster has used a number of countermeasures to avoid it as well. Particularly a Fraudster used countermeasure that encrypt VoIP Call Setup/Termination of SIP Signal or voice and both. This paper proposes the solution that is identifying equipment of Toll Bypass fraud using those countermeasures. Through feature of Voice traffic analysis, to detect involved equipment, and those behavior analysis to identifying SIM Box or Service Sever of VoIP Service Providers.

This study discusses a remote control torch system equipped with a GMAW double wire reel. The welding machine is 30m away from the wire feeder at the industrial site and the feeder is three to five meters away from the torch. Accordingly, the welders cannot control the current and voltage that meets the welding condition during work when they are working at a place that prevents them from seeing the control panel, such as inside a vehicle or tank or at a far work site. They also have no choice but to stop working to change the wire reel when it is burned out completely. Such work suspension resulting from frequent moves to adjust the current and voltage as well as to replace the wire and subsequent cooling causes welding defects. This study produced a remote control torch equipped with a double wire reel by simplifying and streamlining the existing GMAW functions to reduce the troubling issue. The remote control torch equipped with a double wire reel and the existing $CO_2$ /MAG welding torch were applied as a V-groove butt in the vertical position using 6mm rolled steel for a SM50A welding structure. After welding, the condition of welded surface beads underwent a visual inspection and radiographic inspection to analyze the welding quality inside the welded part. This study also evaluated the reduction of welding defects, cost saving, the replacing performance against the existing commercial welders, and the effects on possible compatibility.

The development of the oil refining industry has resulted in an annual 120 million tons of sulphur, which is a by-product of the desulphurization process. To exploit this abundance, the applications of sulphur must be expanded. as excellent durability of reuse of leftover sulphur which has high potential for utilization in construction materials, the study is actively in progress. Meanwhile, there has been active research on semi-rigid pavements that draw on the strengths and overcome the weaknesses of asphalt and concrete pavements. Acrylate is used to prevent cracking but involves a high cost, thus, an alternative material is required. As such, this study presents methods on the reuse of leftover sulphur and examines the engineering performance of grout containing sulfur polymer emulsion (SPE) for use in semi-rigid pavements. Our analysis shows that grout in which 30% of acrylate is replaced with SPE has superior properties in terms of time of flow and strength compared to regular grout. However, performance declined when more than 50% of acrylate was replaced by SPE, indicating that the optimum replacement level is 30%. Through SEM analysis, we found that grout with utra harding cement in this study at three hours had similar hydration properties to that of Type 1 Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) at seven days, and maintained the properties regardless of grout containing SPE. OPC and grout with a replacement level of 30% displayed similar levels of chloride invasion resistance, whereas grout without SPE was far less resistant. Within the scope of this paper, the optimum replacement level of acrylate with SPE was found to be 30% in consideration of various properties such as time of flow, strength, and chloride invasion resistance.

In suspension bridges, hanger cables are the main load-supporting members. The tension of the hanger cables of a suspension bridge is a very important parameter for assessing the integrity and safety of the bridge. In general, indirect methods are used to measure the tension of the hanger cables of a suspension bridge in traffic use. A representative indirect method is the vibration method, which extracts modal frequencies from the cables' responses and then measures the cable tension using the cables' geometric conditions and the modal frequencies. In this study, the image processing technique is applied to facilitate the estimation of the dynamic responses of the cables using the image signal, for which a portable digital camcorder was used due to its convenience and cost-efficiency. Ambient vibration tests were conducted on a suspension bridge in traffic use to verify the validity of the back analysis method, which can estimate the tension of remote hanger cables using the modal frequencies as a parameter. In addition, the tension estimated through back analysis method, which was conducted to minimize the difference between the modal frequencies calculated using finite element analysis of the hanger cables and the measured modal frequencies, was compared with that measured using the vibration method.

Due to the influence of global oil prices, industrial productivity, which oil consumption is high, was significantly reduced. AC type of high-strength PHC piles is being manufactured through twice the steam curing process and this have resulted in a significant rise for product's manufacturing costs. NAC way other types of file manufacturing process has the advantage of reducing manufacturing costs by a turn of the steam curing. Nevertheless, because the initial strength be poor than that of AC method, shipment is being after the curing period of approximately three days. In addition, the growth of the product enhance with curing period can not be avoided, as a result, cost of inventory is acting as the rise. Piles by the AC method is immediately shipped after curing, damaging problems does not occur when they are introduced to the field site (for example, pile on-site). In the case of NAC, however, at least after the curing period of three days and after expressing the strength of 80 MPa or more, they are shipped on the scene. Therefore, NAC type has problems as follows: (1) increase in moderate inventory holding costs with type and (2) breakage in the field due to lack of strength. In this study, for NAC-typed PHC files, mixing characteristics research for the strength development at 1 day equivalent to AC method were conducted and strength characteristics with changes of original materials were evaluated were also identified.
