The Current Status of Environmental Education Teacher Inservice Training and Analysis of Programmes (환경교육 교사 현직 연수의 현황 및 프로그램 분석)

  • The purpose of study is to provide fundamental data for the improvement of the teacher inservice training for environmental education through analysis of current inservice training programmes. The subject of analysis are documents on training programmes which was conducted after 2000 by 10 training organizations. Based on the results of this study, inservice training programmes is classified with 6 organizations which consist of education training institute, education & scientific research institute, national · public organizations, colleges of an attached organizations, civil organizations, teacher research society. The strategies for improvement of proposed in this study can be summarized as follows: First,'60 hours training programmes for general competencies improvement of environmental teacher' have to reconsider about scarcity areas to analysis of programmes. Second, this training programmes need to establish in training programmes of nothing region for increase in training opportunity of teachers. Third,'the core training programmes'is continued to be complementing about this programmes and need to establish about training programmes of teaching method of environmental education, environmentally value and attitude, etc

  • The purpose of this study is total analysis which is satisfied factors to users to object of inservice training institute in large enterprise. Common factors are inservice training building, outer space and unit of abode. Those are deduced in the planing stage by important degree. Methods of statistical analysis are enforced by analysis of primary factor, correlation and multiple regression. The result of this shows a difference between important orders to users according to character of influenced factors of the inservice training building and abode.

Curriculum Development for Inservice Training of School Health Nurses (양호교사 자격연수교과과정 개발에 관한 연구)

  • School health promotion is related to reinforce on various roles of school health teachers including health instruction, health services, healthful school living. In this aspects, there would be necessory for qualified continous education proceed to activate roles of school health teachers. So the objectives of this study are first, to develop curriculum framework for inservice training of health school nurses, second, to descrive of curriculum objectives, third, to state of curriculum objectives and learning methods. There were used study methods as literature review, expert conferencing and workshop. Major results are as follows; 1. Curriculum framework for inservice training of health school nurses was constitute of major variables of health care model and direct services role of school health teacher such as health service, health instruction and healthful environment area. 2. The curriculum for health instruction were different from elementary school and middle school. 3. Time distribution for curriculum was composed of that health service is 12hours, health instruction is 96 hours and healthful environment is 12 hours. 4. The learning methods for inservice training were suggested to intensify positive attitude through the discussion and practical exercise. 5. The curriculum objectives were classified by total, area and a course of study and time summary table was suggested. In conclusion, the developed curriculum would be contribute to improve of practical ability for school health teachers. And to increase of inservice training effect, there should be operate in order to participate trainees activately and to be educate concurrently. Also, there are necessary for execute in series of the program such as standized text developing by course, evaluation index developing and instructor education etc.

  • The aim of this study was to provide basic data that could give a positive effect for both new dental hygienists and dental institutions by identifying the impact of one the job training on the organizational socialization, targeting 162 new dental hygienists who currently worked in dental clinic. The data were analyzed using the chi-squire, independent-samples t-test, hierarchical regression analysis. It was shown that the characteristics and contents of a duration of inservice training for new dental hygienists, difficulty, satisfaction, and details of on-the-job training affected organizational socialization by 26.1%. The factor that had the greatest impact on the organizational socialization was dental hygiene service training, followed by guidance of hospital service regulations. This study was significant in that it applied the concept of organizational socialization to the dental hygienists. The future study on the more effective and systematic training program will be needed to help new dental hygienists be socialized more effectively in the new organization.

Development and Evaluation of a Patient Safety-focused Inservice Education Program for Surgical Nurse (외과계 간호사를 위한 환자안전 관점의 실무교육 프로그램 개발과 효과)

  • Purpose: The aim of this project was to develop a patient safety-focused inservice education program for surgical nurse and to test the effects of this program. Methods: Methodological designs for instruments development, a pretest-posttest and a posttest design were employed. After the education, nurses' satisfaction, confidence, usefulness and application of 137 nurses were evaluated at 15 surgical units of a tertiary teaching hospital in Seoul, Korea. The education contents are 6 skill areas (infusion pump use, suction, chest tube drainage, oxygen administration, nebulizer use, insulin administration) and medication knowledge. Teaching methods were lecture, instructor demonstration, and 1:1 skill test. Descriptive statistics, Wilcoxon test, Spearman's correlation and Stepwise regression were used. Results: Satisfaction scores for skills and medication education were 4.00-4.21 (out of 5), The more performance frequency in 6 skills, the higher score in confidence as well as in usefulness and application, and the higher satisfaction with the program, the higher score in usefulness, application, confidence, and medication knowledge. Medication knowledge improved after the education (Z=-7,757, p<.001). Significant predictors of skill confidence were application of skills in job performance, medication confidence, and career in present unit. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that systematic and continuous inservice education will improve patient safety by promoting nursing quality.

The Occupational View and Perception on Career Education of Teachers and Parents in Elementary School (초등학교 교사와 학부모의 직업관 및 진로교육에 대한 인식)

  • This research studied occupational view and perceptions of career education for elementary school by elementary school teachers and parents. Questionnaires were administered to 113 teachers and 523 parents. Data were analyzed by ${\chi}^2$ and t-test. Results showed statistically significant differences in teachers' occupational view by sex, educational background, field experience in elementary school, and experience of inservice teacher education; statistically significant differences in parents' occupational view by sex and age; statistically significant differences between teachers and parents in occupational views; and statistically significant differences between teachers and parents in perceptions of career education. Occupations providing stable livelihood were preferred by parents, by male teachers, teachers with masters' degrees, and by teachers whose education had included inservice training.
