  • In this paper, We have studied the structure of a Telemetry Transmitter capable of transmitting variable data rates. This paper proposed a structure combining variable pre-modulation filter with cutoff characteristic with variable input sample rate converter. Variable pre-modulation filter has the same characteristics as pre-modulation filter and is converted to a constant sampling rate without structural changes according to the variable input data rate. We propose a software program that actively controls variable pre-modulation filter and variable input sample rate converter to respond to real-time changing data.

  • By using the least square input estimator and a likelihood ratio technique, an one-dimensional tracking problem is presented. A Kalman tracking filter based on constant-velocity model is used to track a target and the filtered estimate is updated with an input estimate when a maneuver is detected. The simulation results show that there are significant improvements using the scheme presented here.

  • By using a least-square input estimator and likelihood ratio technique, a tracking problem is presented. A Kalman tracking filter based on constant-velocity, straight-line model is used to track a target and the filtered estimate is updated using an input estimate when a maneuver is detected. Track residuals at each scan are sensed by a detector to guard against unexpected corrections of the filter. The simulation results show there are significant improvements using the scheme presented.

  • CS PWM converter is appropriate for the high power and high precision current control. The input/output filters of the CS PWM converter limit the output DC current range and may destroy the system with filter resonance, and make the system equation more complicated. In this paper, the systematic and simple filter design method which considers not only the harmonic attenuation but the total system performance also is proposed.

  • In a digital communication system, the transmission channel may introduce error into the digital signal being transmitted. It would be useful if a process could be devised so that the error could be removed in order to recover the transmitted digital signal. We design a corrective filter that is inverse filter, which will generate an output signal identical to the input signal. in order for two systems connected in cascade to produce an output which is identical to the input signal, the over-all unit sample response of the cascade connection must be a unit sample function.

  • This paper proposes a new application of Kalman filter to estimate speed sensorless DC motor. Kalman filter can estimate the system state variables accurately; even the system input is disturbed with noise. In the design, the mathematical model of DC motor in discrete state-space form will be created; the speed of DC motor which is considered as state variable and can be estimated by using Kalman filter. In the experiment; TMS320C31 floating point digital signal processor is used for hardware implementation, the input is disturbed with/and without white noise in the experiment. The experimental results show the speed of DC motor which is estimated by Kalman filter has good accuracy when compared with the results from tacho-meter.

  • In this paper we porposed WCHF-fSDF filter to obtain a roration and scale-invariant correlation output. WCHF-fSDF filter is synthesized by each single CHF exttracted from scale-changed and wavelet tranformed imagesfor a refereence image as tranining images. The wavelet transform is defined as the correlation of an input image with a wavelet function. Therefore two 4f optical correlation systems are needed for pattern recognition using wavelet transform. We here include the wavelet function for the input image in the process of the proposed filter design and substitute the two 4f optical correlation system with a single 4f optical correlation system. The Performances of the proposed filter are compared with conventional CHF-SDF, POCHF-SDF filters through the computer simulation. The results of computer simulation show that the proposed filter has the rotation and scale-invariant correlation output and it has better performances than thoseof the conventioanl filters.

  • A fully differential transconductor using the series composite transistor is proposed. Simulation results show that THD is less than 1.2% for the differential input signal of up to $1.5V_{p-p}$ when the input signal frequency is 10MHz. i he proposed transconductor is used to design a third-order elliptic Gm-C lowpass filter with 138kHz cutoff frequency for ADSL Tx filter. The design procedure is based on signal flow graph(SFG) of a doubly-terminated LC ladder filter by means of fully differential transconductors and capacitors. The filter is fabricated and measured with a $0.35{\mu}m$ CMOS process.

  • In this paper, a design method of LCL filter at the AC input side of a voltage source PWM converter is proposed. Effective method to prevent pollution of the utility caused by high frequency current ripple is to use a LCL filter instead of the L filter The C elements in the filter provide a low impedance path for the high frequency component, preventing them from entering the utility. A resistor in series with a capacitor is used for damping the resonance in the filter. The design examples are shown and the validity of the proposed design method is verified through the PSIM simulation.

  • For the rotation-invariant pattern recognition, we propose multiple circular harmonic filter which is expanded about the proper center. The proper centerm when input image is given, is the circular harmonic expansion center of the filter which yields a maximum center correlation peak in the output plane. In this paper, we founded the circular harmonic components that the proper center superposes on the same position and then designed multiple circular harmonic filter using these components. Also the proposed filter is compared with conventional multiple circular harmonic filter and shows that it can maximize the center correlation peak for the rotated input image by the computer simulation.
