패션기업의 조직문화, 심리적 임파워먼트 및 조직유효성에 관한 연구 (The organizational culture, psychological empowerment, and organization efficiency in fashion companies)

  • This study analyzed the effects of organizational culture on psychological empowerment and organization efficiency, and the effects of psychological empowerment on organization efficiency in fashion companies. In addition, this study analyzed the differences between organizational culture, psychological empowerment and organization efficiency across demographic characteristics. The survey was conducted among employees of fashion companies, and 320 responses were used in the data analysis. As a result, the group culture and innovative culture in fashion companies positively influenced the competence and meaning of psychological empowerment. An innovative culture and rational culture positively influenced the self-determination, and the group culture and rational culture positively influenced the impact of psychological empowerment. The group culture, innovative culture, and rational culture of fashion companies positively influenced job satisfaction, and the group culture, innovative culture, and hierarchical culture positively influenced job commitment. The group culture and innovative culture negatively influenced the turnover intention, but the hierarchical culture positively influenced the turnover intention. In addition, the psychological empowerment (competence, self-determination, impact, and meaning) positively influenced job satisfaction, and the competence, self-determination, and impact positively influenced job commitment. Competence negatively influenced the turnover intention, but the impact positively influenced the turnover intention. There was a difference in the group culture and turnover intention by ages, as well as a difference in the hierarchical culture and self-determination by work departments. The results of this study will be helpful for the establishment of the management and business strategies in fashion companies.

심리적 주인의식과 고용안정이 이직의도 및 혁신행동에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 -경북지역 중소제조기업 종업원을 중심으로- (Effects of Job Security and Psychological Ownership on Turnover Intention and Innovative Behavior of Manufacturing Employees)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the relationships among innovative behavior, turnover intention, and job security. An additional purpose was to examine partial mediating effects on psychological ownership. The baseline of analyzing those relationships in this study is that the role of psychological ownership will be a mediator between job security and turnover intention as well as innovative behavior in the organization. To accomplish these purposes, a model was built among job security as predictor variable, the psychological ownership as mediating variable and turnover intention, and innovative behavior as criteria variables based on the studies conducted in the various areas. The 248 questionnaires surveyed from the area of DaeGu and Kyungbuk were used in the statistical analyses. The detail statistical techniques are such as descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multi regression analysis. The results of the study show that job security had positively significant effect on turnover intention and innovative behavior. In addition, only the psychological ownership of organization-level thinking have partial mediating effects between job security and innovative behavior also job security and turnover intention. The results may indicate that the psychological ownership of organization-level thinking be a key factor to alleviate the turnover intention of employees and to encourage the innovative behavior during their works for the small-medium size companies showing the unstable job security.

혁신형 중소기업의 조직혁신역량이 기업의 수출성과에 미치는 영향 (The Relationship between Organization Innovation Capabilities and Export Performance of Technological Innovation type SMEs)

  • Purpose - This study investigate the effect of innovative capacity on corporate export performance and moderating flexibility. Design/methodology/approach - For this, hypotheses were established by reviewing previous studies and an empirical analysis was conducted for testing. Using SPSS 22.0, a frequency analysis of related variables was conducted. Through an exploratory factor analysis, validity and reliability tests of measuring tools were conducted and a descriptive statistics was analyzed for collected data result and hypotheses testing. Findings - Finally, with a verified model, the hypotheses and the moderating effects were tested. The results are as follows; The innovationa capacities have a positive effect on export performance and flexibility However, the flexbilitiy was not moderator in the relationship between innovative capacity and export performance. Research implications or Originality - According to the results above, this study presents directions to improve export performance of technological innovative type SMEs.   • In this era of cut-throat competition, innovation is a source of competitive advantage, and securing core competency through innovation plays a pivotal role in ensuring the survival and growth of an organization. In an organization, R&D team is a core division driving innovation, and creative tension and conflict among researchers fuels innovative performance. Despite heated debate over the positive and negative effects of conflict, insufficiently-identified process factors have left sophisticated mechanisms between conflicts and effects unaddressed. This study assumes that team learning behaviors can bean important process factor given that conflict propels learning, and that learning is a decisive factor in creating competitive advantage. This study conducted an empirical analysis of the relationship between relationship/task conflict and team innovative performance, and the mediating role of team learning behaviors using data collected from a questionnaire sent out to the heads of 262 R&D teams and second highest-ranking officials thereof. The analysis conducted based on structural equation model indicates that relationship conflict has negatively affected team learning behaviors, whereas task conflict has positively influenced team learning behaviors(full mediation effect), team learning behaviors has positively influenced team innovative performance. Based on these results, the study has suggested implications of intra-team conflict and team learning behaviors for team innovative performance.

장병의 다양성 수용도가 혁신행동에 미치는 영향: 부대원 신뢰의 매개효과 (The Effect of Openness to Diversity on Innovative Behavior: The Mediating Effect of Unit-members Trust)

  • Purpose - This study deals with the Openness to Diversity(OD) of soldiers in the military organization for efficient unit operation of the military organization composed of various soldier. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of information and value OD on innovative behavior and the mediating effect of unit-members trust. Design/methodology/approach - The 269 samples of this study were surveyed on army soldiers. The Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), the multiple regression, bootstraping analysis were hired in order to analyze the data. Findings - The results showed that the information & value OD were positive(+) effect on innovative behavior. Unit-members trust showed a mediation effect between OD and innovative behavior. Research implications or Originality - First, according to Defense Reform 2.0, the military is expected to be composed of more diverse classes in the future. There is a theoretical contribution that examine their perception of diversity within the military. Second, OD was confirmed as a variable predicting the innovative behavior of soldiers and unit-memeber trust mediate the relationship between OD and invative behavior.

공유리더십이 조직신뢰, 지식공유 및 혁신행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Shared Leadership on Organizational Trust, Knowledge Sharing and Innovative Behavior)

  • 본 연구에서는 공유리더십이 조직신뢰, 지식공유, 혁신행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 공유리더십과 혁신행동의 관계에 있어서 조직신뢰와 지식공유의 매개역할을 검증하였다. 울산과 경주지역의 제조업 종사자 348명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 빈도분석과 탐색적 요인분석을 위해 SPSS 22를 사용하였다. 변수의 타당성을 확인하기 위한 확인적 요인분석과 연구가설을 검증하고자 공분산 구조분석을 위해 AMOS 22를 사용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 공유리더십은 조직신뢰, 지식공유, 혁신행동에 모두 유의한 양(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 조직신뢰는 지식공유와 혁신행동에 유의한 양(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지식공유는 혁신행동에 유의한 양(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 공유리더십과 혁신행동 간의 관계에서 조직신뢰와 지식공유가 부분매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과에 의하면 조직구성원의 혁신행동을 높이기 위해서 공유리더십을 통한 조직신뢰와 지식공유를 강화시켜야 함을 시사하고 있다.

구성원의 지각된 행복감과 혁신행동 간의 관계 (The Relationship between Perceived Occupational Well-Being and Innovative Behavior in the Workplace)

  • 주요 경영관련 저널에서는 매년 '일하고 싶은 회사(100 best companies to work for)'를 발표해 오고 있다. 여기에 선정된 회사들은 높은 기업성과 뿐만 아니라 다양한 형태의 복지프로그램 제공과 구성원들의 높은 직무만족, 조직몰입, 일-가정 균형 인식, 및 긍정적 정서를 높일 수 있는 프로그램을 제공하는 특징을 갖고 있다. 이는 조직 구성원들은 이러한 프로그램을 통해 직무만족, 조직몰입, 일-가정 균형에서 오는 안정감과 행복감을 느끼며, 이는 삶에 대한 전반적 만족 및 긍정적 정서로 나타나기 때문이다. 최근 기업들은 조직 구성원들의 심리적 안정과 긍정적 사고가 개인 및 조직의 성과를 향상시킨다는 믿음으로 많은 노력을 해오고 있다. 본 연구에서는 구성원이 지각하는 행복감과 혁신행동 간의 관계에서 일-가정 촉진의 조절효과를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 IT, 서비스, 제조업 등 총 11 개 기업의 직원들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 실증 분석하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 직장 행복감이 혁신행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 직장 행복감과 혁신행동 간의 관계에 있어 일-가정 촉진 및 가정-일 촉진의 조절효과가 통계적으로 유의한 결과가 나타났다. 결론 부분에 이 연구의 시사점과 한계점, 그리고 향후 연구 방향을 제시하였다.

  • Growth in the device field is driven by various emerging devices, tablet PC are among the most recognizable. Tablet PC are mobile computing devices enabled with touch screens or pen inputs and provide the functions of various other devices. Firms are interested in utilization of tablet PC on task. Many of firms is considering accepting of tablet PC and is looking forward to performance of tablet PC. Thus, this study propose to discuss strategies for the usage of tablet PC from organizational needs perspective. The goal of this study is to identify factors influencing use of tablet PC and task performance. The results of this study showed that the proposed factors of organizational needs with a exception of Service Flexibility had a positive impact on perceived usefulness that then positively affected Usage of Tablet PC and Task Performance. In addition, perceived task-technology fit had a positive impact on perceived usefulness and Usage of Tablet PC. Finally, Innovative Culture of Organization as a moderating effect significantly influenced the relationship between perceived usefulness, perceived Task-Technology Fit and Usage of Tablet PC. This study is expected to be a reference for a subsequent study associated with Tablet PC at organizational viewpoints.

Intra-organizational Conflict and Innovative Performance in Media Industry: An Exploratory Simulation Study

  • Media industry is attempting various types of strategic innovation in the content and organization as they enter transition period. However, previous research has casually treated the organizational culture from the management and realized that cognitive/cultural differences between the specific departments yield conflicts. This means the researchers explored less on the decision-making process with the conflict between sub-groups and constituent in the organization. Our study reviewed the most positive method to achieve the innovation outcome through the conflict management within the organization based on the behavioral theory of the firm and applied computer simulation model for analysis to construct the quantitative scenario and infer the result. Conflict always found while media organization experiences innovation within the groups. However, in the long term, securing the independence through the certain state of 'anarchy' which possibly lead consensus implies significance rather to comprise collegiate system for unilateral control. In specific, this study explored the issues in 'conflict management' that has been evaded in media organization research through NK simulation model.

혁신역량이 경영품질 활동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -말콤 볼드리지 모델을 기준으로- (A Study on the Effects of Innovation Competency on the Management Quality Activities Based on Malcolm Baldrige Model)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to identify whether organizational characteristics of Korean companies can make differences in innovative capability and Malcolm Baldridge management quality standard. In addition, based on the results and by verifying the influence of the innovative capability to management quality activity, it was to investigate the relations between the two factors. Methods: The subjects of this study were workers at major companies and small-and-medium sized companies. T-test was used to identify differences in innovative capabilities of industrial and age, position classifications, and regression analysis was employed to verify the influences of the innovative capability to the management quality activity. Results: The size of company caused some differences in market innovative sector regarding innovative capability. Management quality activity showed differences because of the sizes of companies and their supply types, while innovative capability influenced on all sectors of management quality activity. Conclusion: In this study Malcolm Baldridge management quality standard was applied to Korean companies. The results verified the meaningful influence of innovative capability to management quality activity. This means that the management quality activity can make a better performance when the innovative capability is good enough. Thus, the enhancement of management quality activity requires the boost of innovative capabilities of organization members.
