The Korean government is aiming to strengthen industrial and national competitiveness through the promotion of cooperation between universities, public research institutes and industry and vitalization of technology transfer. In 2013 and 2014, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning have announced policies to support SMEs by public research organizations. In addition, in 2015, the 'Korean Fraunhofer support system', which pay government subsidies according to the amounts of private R&D funds was adopted. However, there are some concern about the government's policies. There is yet disclosed how these policies affect technology transfer because industrial R&D funding has not been activated in Korea unlike German. Therefore this paper analyzes effects of relationship between universities, public research institutes and external organizations on performance of technology transfer based on the Triple Helix Model. Empirical results show that the relationship with the government has a significant impact on the resource security and the relationship with the industry has a significant effect on the diffusion of the performance. In addition, a public research institute was selected and case analysis was conducted to suggest policy implications for improving the technology transfer performance of universities and public research institutes.
This study explored the development and utilization strategies based on the recognition of Massive Open Online Courses(MOOC) of students and professors who are the subjects of university teaching and learning. All members of the university recognized the basic concepts of MOOC as openness, sharing, and participation positively. In the understanding and recognition level of MOOC, undergraduate and graduate students were very low but professors were relatively high. They wanted the MOOC to develop courses in the humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, technology engineering and the arts and sciences, aiming at innovation in college curricula and diffusion of unique contents. The undergraduates wanted MOOC to be able to complete the liberal arts curriculum, basic learning in other areas and extra-curriculum and the graduate students who were lifelong learners wanted MOOC to be developed and utilized for strengthening lifelong education of local citizens. Professors who are providers of high quality education and lifelong learners wanted MOOC to be used for the deepening of their major courses in order to innovate the university education and to spread unique contents. The university should support the development of various MOOCs, establish the completion system, and provide advanced and high quality online education service.
Living Lab is being introduced and applied as an innovation model driven by social entities (residents, users, etc.) and as an innovation place based on local and field. This study analyzed three living lab cases of Bukchon IoT living lab, Seong-Daegol energy transition living lab, and Daejeon Geonneoyu project, which were designated as 'Living Lab' to solve local problems. We analyzed the local problem, the problem solving goal, the role of each participant and the subject, the living lab promotion system, the significance in each case. In addition, the types and characteristics of living labs were elucidated and future development plans were discussed. The result is as follow. First, each case has a tendency to link science technology and ICT with local problem solving though there is a difference between the technologies used. Second, local residents played a leading role in the whole living lab process from problem identification to technical experimentation, diffusion and application. Third, the role of the intermediaries commonly played an important role in the operation of the living lab. Last but not least, each case has different types of living lab. Bukchon IoT living lab being operated as a project by the government / municipality to create a living lab activity-base or to support actors' activities. On the other hand, the Seong-Daegol energy transition living lab and Daejeon Geonneoyu project were conducted by the civil society itself to define problems and explore technologies in order to solve local problems.
This study focuses on considering the factors affecting the user intention to adopt an intelligent service - A.I. speaker services. Currently there can be a considerable difference between the expectation and the realized diffusion of IT-based intelligent services. This study aims to find out this gap based on the idea of diver previous researches including TAM and UTAUT studies and to identify the direct and indirect effects of diverse factors such as security issues, perceived time pressure, service innovativeness, and the experience of these IT-based intelligent services. And this study considers the expected impact of perceived time pressure factor on the user acceptance of A.I. speaker services. In analysis results, not only the traditional factors such as the perceived usefulness and the hedonic/utilitarian motives but also the perceived time pressure, the perceived security issues, and the experience of the services should be considered as meaningful factors to affect the users adopting A.I. speaker services.

The article examines the formation of the scientific paradigm of transformation of the potential-forming space of the regional economy under the influence of intellectual and innovative determinants. Based on the study of different scientific views on the nature and properties of potential-forming space through the study of approaches to understanding the concept of "space" clarified the complexity and multifaceted nature of the phenomenon and found that its characteristics are relevant to the industrial development model. It is revealed that the leading modern trends related to the spread of globalization and regionalization, rapid development of information and communication technologies, diffusion of innovations accompany the transition from industrial to post-industrial development and its development, which leads to new development: changes production, nature and relations between business entities, etc. It is proved that under such conditions, the region as a key element of the economic system, acquires a leading role in achieving sustainable and balanced development. These processes significantly affect the potential-forming space of the regional economy under the influence of intellectual and innovative determinants, leading to the need for its transformation and change in accordance with modern realities, which is reflected in thorough research on the formation of scientific paradigm based on the formation of its theoretical foundations and methodological basis. This study reveals the essence, role, functions, structure, process of formation of the scientific paradigm of transformation of the potential-forming space of the regional economy under the influence of intellectual and innovative determinants. It is proved that the formation of the modern scientific paradigm of transformation of the potential-forming space of the regional economy under the influence of intellectual and innovative determinants occurs in the context of building a post-industrial model of development, accompanied by consideration of the region as a spatial object territories from the physical plane to the spatial environment in which the development of human capital, innovation and self-development of the region. Taking into account the above, the article outlines the prerequisites and factors of formation of the scientific paradigm of transformation of the potential-forming space of the regional economy under the influence of intellectual and innovative determinants.
Generative AI services, including ChatGPT, were becoming increasingly active. This study aimed to empirically analyze the factors that promoted and hindered the diffusion of such services from a consumer perspective. Accordingly, a research model was developed based on the Value-based Adoption Model (VAM) framework, addressing both benefit and sacrifice factors. Benefits identified included usefulness and enjoyment, while sacrifices were security and hallucination. The study analyzed how these factors affected the intention to use generative AI services. A survey was conducted among college students for empirical analysis, and 200 valid responses were analyzed. The analysis utilized structural equation modeling with AMOS 24. The empirical results showed that usefulness and enjoyment had a significant positive impact on perceived value, while security and hallucination had a significant negative impact. The order of influence on perceived value was usefulness, hallucination, security, and then enjoyment. Perceived value had a significant positive impact on usage intention. Moreover, perceived value was found to mediate the relationship between usefulness, enjoyment, security, hallucination, and the intention to use generative AI services. These findings expanded the research horizon academically by validating the effectiveness of generative AI services based on existing models and demonstrated the continued importance of usefulness in a practical context.
Technological substitution is the process by which a radical technology replaces the dominant technology in an industry. The processes of diffusion and substitution have been modeled extensively (Technology & innovation, 2010). However, the formulation of classical quantitative models encompasses only part of the theoretical space. These models impose many simplified constraints to the achievement of analytical resolution. The interior design organization needs to establish a set of technical system requirements by describing the scope of the accessibility needs of the organization against current technology use. Because of complicated design resources and ongoing advances in design technologies, design systems face the challenge of prioritizing new technologies for supporting. The problem is small design organization administration often displays a lack of concern toward the evaluation of technology integration. In this paper, I will identify the influence of a design organization's technology, and predict how future technology will inform, support, and potentially hinder productivity, culture, and work satisfaction within a design organization in the industry. In addition, I will use current design organizational behavior and leadership models to support my predictions. Finally, I will examine a proven approach to assist designers with evaluating technology integration in interior design organization. The goal is to develop a high quality, professional development scorecards for the evaluation. I will conduct both the evaluation of technology integration and CRM performance evaluation is recommended to assess the effectiveness of technology integration. Therefore, the evaluation of integration technologies oriented design hold the promise of solving the organization application integration challenge. The evaluation of integration technology is a significant pattern for processing such a vision. The careful selection of an integration technology for this purpose is crucial in contributing toward the success of such an interior design organization endeavor.
Experts participating in the knowledge expert network externalize their implicit knowledge by providing information or writing reports. Almost all the members of the network share externalized knowledge and the network facilitate the dissemination and diffusion of knowledge. Individuals reproduce another implicit knowledge by internalizing shared knowledge through the network and re-created knowledge is externalized, establishing knowledge circulation. In this paper, we analyze the expert groups of the Global Network of Korean Scientists & Engineers(KOSEN, www.kosen21.org), the Korea's No. 1 science and engineering knowledge expert community, with the application of the theory of policy network proposed by Marsh & Rhodes. According to the principal standards of policy network classification such as the number of participants, interaction among participants, consistency, distribution of resources and dependency, we categorize the KOSEN expert groups as closed policy network and opened issue network, and divide closed policy network into core community and periphery community.

As a result, except the independent variable-compatibility, all of the characteristics factors of mobile social network game showed direct or indirect effects on service recovery. The results of this study are expected as a reference for presenting a new business model, reducing risk factors and enriching the related research of the gaming industry.
The objective of this study is to evaluate the equipment risk before and after SEMI S2-93A implementation, thus providing a guideline for safety improvement. Semiconductor Plant A located in Taiwan's Hsinchu Science Based Industrial Park with 147 manufacturing machines was used for risk assessment. This study was carried out in three steps. First, a preliminary hazard analysis was conducted. A detailed process safety evaluation was conducted (Hazard and Operability Study, HAZOP); and finally, the equipment risk comparison before and after Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturing Instruction (SEMI S2-93A) implementation. The preliminary hazard analysis results showed high risk in 21.77% of the manufacturing machines under risk assessment at Plant A. The largest percentage existed in the Diffusion Department. The machine types specified by the hazardous work site review and inspection according to Article 26 of Labor Inspection Regulation (the machines that use such chemicals as, $SiH_4$, HF, HCL, etc. and that are determined to be highly hazardous through preliminary hazard analysis) were added to the detailed process analysis and evaluation. In the third part of this evaluation, the machines at Plant A used for detailed process safety assessment were divided into two groups based on the manufacturing data before and after 1993. The severity, possibility, and actual accident analysis before and after SEMI S2-93A implementation were compared. The Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturing Instruction (SEMI S2-93A) implementation can reduce the severity and possibility of hazard occurrence.
