태양전지 변환 효율 향상을 위한 근적외선 파장 변환 필름에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Near Infrared Ray Wavelength Conversion Film for Improving Conversion Efficiency of Solar Cell)

  • The amount of electric power for photovoltaic power generation depends on the location of the power plant and the direction of solar cell. The solar cell controls the generation of solar power plants. Therefore, the structure of solar cell, manufacturing method, and optic technology were factors contributing to increased solar cell efficiency; however, the technical limit has been reached. Herein, we propose a new method to increase the solar cell efficiency using a wavelength conversion technology that converts ultraviolet and infrared rays, which are not effectively used in solar cells, into effective wavelength of solar cell. We used fluoride $Na(Ca)YF_4$ phosphor for wavelength conversion. Then, a wavelength-conversion fluorescent paste, prepared using an organic-silicon binder, was used to prepare a film that was applied to Si solar cells. It was confirmed that conversion efficiency improved by 5% or more.

  • In this study, the performance of a portable NIR system and a FT NIR spectrometer were compared to determine water content of hairless mouse skin. The stratum corneum parts wer e separated from the epidermal tissues by trypsin solution. NIR diffuse reflectance spectra of hairless mouse skin were acquired using a fiber optic probe. In the near infrared, water molecules show two clear absorption bands at 1450 nm from first overtone of O-H stretching and 1940 nm from the combination involving O-H stretching and O-H deformation. It was found that the variations of O-H absorption band according to water content. Partial least squares regression (PLSR) was applied to develop a calibration model. The PLS model showed a good correlation between NIR predicted value and the absolute water content of separated hairless mouse skin, in vitro. For both the portable and the FT NIR spectrometer, These studies showed the possibility of a rapid and nondestructive skin moisture measurement using NIR spectroscopy. The portable NIR spectrometer with a photodiode arrays-microsensor could be more rapidly applied for the determination of water content with comparable accuracy with the performance of a FT spectrometer .

285 mJ Electro-optically 𝚀-switched Er:YAG Master Oscillator Power Amplifier (MOPA) System with Adjustable Pumping Delay between Flashlamps at 2.94 ㎛

  • In this paper, we demonstrated a high-energy (285 mJ) mid-infrared flashlamp-pumped electro-optically 𝚀-switched Er:YAG master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) system and comprehensively investigated its temporal, spectral, and spatial characteristics. To increase the output energy, we optimized the delay between the timings at which the flashlamps of the master oscillator and power amplifier were triggered. In addition, the output energy was improved while minimizing thermal effects by cooling the MOPA system to a temperature slightly above the dew point. Consequently, the MOPA structure boosted the output energy without damaging the lithium niobate Pockels cell, which is a crucial element in 𝚀-switching. This design realized pulses with energies up to 0.285 J and pulse durations of approximately 140 ns at a wavelength of 2,936.7 nm. This high-energy mid-IR Er:YAG MOPA system can be used for various scientific, engineering, and military underwater applications.

  • $3{\sim}5{\mu}m$ 범위의 중적외선에서 75 % 이상의 투과율을 갖는 $BaO-GeO_2-La_2O_3-ZnO$ 계 유리를 제조 및 특성을 평가하였다. Flow button test를 통해 유리 용융이 가능한 조성을 선택 후, ZnO를 10 mol%, 20 mol% 각각 첨가하여 $1350^{\circ}C$에서 1시간 동안 용융하여 $BaO-GeO_2-La_2O_3-ZnO$ 계 유리를 제조하였다. 이 중에서 ZnO를 20 mol% 포함하는 16 mol% BaO-56 mol% $GeO_2-8mol%$ $La_2O_3-20mol%$ ZnO 계 유리 전이 온도 $660^{\circ}C$ 이하, 굴절률 1.70 이상, Knoop 경도 530 이상 값을 가지는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서, ZnO를 20 mol% 포함하는 $BaO-GeO_2-La_2O_3-ZnO$ 계 유리는 저온에서 양호한 용융 상태와 우수한 광학적 특성을 확인하였고 특수 광학용 재료 분야에 충분히 활용이 가능하리라 판단되었다.

  • The Solar Daylighting Technology is considered with the plan that will be able to embody the energy technology which is possible to continue. Daylighting has an considerable advantage of the high effectiveness and the various use because daylighting can use the infrared ray, the visible ray and the ultraviolet rays without energy transformation. In this study, the experiment is tried of making the shape and an arrangement of the reflector different After establishing the reflector in the height(10m) which is fixed. It's also researched on the shape of the efficient reflector using the program(Trace Pro) at the time of the autumnal equinox and the winter solstice at fixed hours.

  • The railway in Korea has been one of important transportation means as the introduction of high-speed train and progress in subway systems. Also, as increases in the speed of train, the guarantee of safety becomes more important, especially, in the fields of railway vehicles and/or facilities. The structural health evaluation for the prevention and diagnosis of the accidents could be conducted using several types of nondestructive evaluation techniques such as ultrasonic developed using infrared thermography or optic fiber sensors. In this paper, the recent progress in structural health evaluation for railway systems has been introduced, and the case studies have been discussed.

  • NIR reflectance spectroscopy, using a fiber-optic probe was used to determine rapidly and non-destructively the content of ambroxol in intact ambroxol 30 mg (nominal content 12.5% m/m ambroxol) tablets by collecting NIR spectra in range 1100 - 1750 nm and using PLSR calibration method. The tablets (10.3 - 15.9% m/m ambroxol, i.e., 82 - 127% of the nominal label content) were used 7 calibration set and 5 validation set. (omitted)

  • Due to their high degree of freedom to transfer and acquire light, fiber optics can be used in the presence of strong magnetic fields. Hence, optical sensing and imaging based on fiber optics can be integrated with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) diagnostic systems to acquire valuable information on biological tissues and organs based on a magnetic field. In this article, we explored the combination of MRI and optical sensing/imaging techniques by classifying them into the following topics: 1) functional near-infrared spectroscopy with functional MRI for brain studies and brain disease diagnoses, 2) integration of fiber-optic molecular imaging and optogenetic stimulation with MRI, and 3) optical therapeutic applications with an MRI guidance system. Through these investigations, we believe that a combination of MRI and optical sensing/imaging techniques can be employed as both research methods for multidisciplinary studies and clinical diagnostic/therapeutic devices.

  • FOD는 항공기에 치명적인 위험을 줄 수 있는 잠재적인 위협요인을 가진 물질을 총칭하는 것이다. 이에, FOD는 공항 전 지역에서 주의해야하며 특히 활주로 및 항공기 이동지역에서는 FOD 탐지 및 수거를 하던 방식은 공항운영의 효율성 및 경제성이 매우 낮기 때문에 국내환경에 적합한 FOD 자동탐지시스템 개발이 필수적으로 요구된다. 이에 항공안전기술개발 사업의 일환으로 공항 내부의 항공기 이동지역 이물질 자동탐지 시스템 개발이 진행 중에 있다. 본 논문에서는 한서대학교 태안비행장에서 EO/IR카메라를 이용한 이물질 탐지실험을 진행하여 주간에는 EO카메라를 이용하고 야간에는 IR카메라를 이용하여 모두 정상적으로 탐지됨을 확인하였다.

실시간 기름유출 모니터링 기술에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Real-Time Oil-Spill Monitoring Technology)

  • 기름 유출로 인한 피해는 수질환경 및 생태계를 단시간에 파괴할 뿐만 아니라 한번 오염이 되면 회복하는데 상당한 시간이 걸리고 회복이 어려우며, 지속적으로 나타난다. 때문에 해양이나 하천, 담수 등의 기름유출을 모니터링할 수 있는 오일 검출기의 필요성이 매우 높다. 오일을 검출할 수 있는 기술로는 크게 접촉식과 비접촉식으로 구분할 수 있으며, 접촉식으로는 Conductivity, Capacitance, Microwave 등이 있고 비접촉식으로는 Infrared, UV, Laser, Optic, Radar 등으로 구분할 수 있다. 수면 위에 있는 오일을 측정하기 위해서는 파고 및 너울, 빛의 산란, 온도, 염도 등 여러 가지 관측의 장애가 존재하기에 측정하고자 하는 환경에 맞는 오일 검출기를 선택하여 사용해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 접촉식 방식으로 정유회사 및 유화회사, 발전소 등의 오일 관련 업종에서 사용할 수 있는 오일 검출기를 구현하였다. 장비의 구성은 수면 위에 띄워 놓는 센서 모듈과 센서 모듈에서 들어오는 신호를 가공하여 표시하는 제어기로 구분하며, 센서를 통하여 오일의 유무를 판별하고 더 나아가 오일의 양과 오일의 종류에 따른 유전율의 변화를 관측하였다.
