  • COVID-19 has changed a lot in our daily lives, where school classes and remote classes have been combined or converted to remote classes. Many students spent more time online, and cyberbullying, such as indiscriminate disclosure of their personal information, bullying of their classmates online, increased. In this paper, we propose an online education program as a countermeasure against cyberbullying. This program is designed for elementary, middle, and high school students and can also be used for informatics or ethics classes in the 2015 curriculum. The proposed program is divided into four major themes: 'Cyberbullying,' 'Information Security,' 'Cyber Crime,' and 'Language Violence,' and is divided into a total of ten topics according to its connection. It was organized to teach the topics evenly by grade. Also, the program's feasibility was verified by experts on the selection of educational contents and organizing of contents. In the future, it will be necessary to apply for this program and conduct an effectiveness analysis to measure whether it has effectively contributed to the decrease in cyberbullying rates among students and the improvement of coping skills.

  • Of all the 55 security departments in colleges, the information security departments occupies the majority of 45. Though existing security focused too much on information security, a new research stream on industrial security from a perspective of convergence has emerged. Since the first department of industrial security was established in a college in 2014, the total of four departments have been established until 2018. A new discipline to solve the existing problems and an opportunity to cultivate industrial security professionals have been greatly appreciated; however, the definition of industrial security is not yet specific, and more discussions on education categories and subjects with a focus on the characteristics of convergence are needed. The demand for industrial security professionals has gradually increasing and the departments of industrial security have been established to meet the demand. It is necessary, in this circumstance, to find out how the industrial security departments are teaching students. To this end, the purpose of this article is to deliver an overview of the educational curriculums of the four industrial security departments. This study analyzed 127 subjects in the curriculums, categorized educational areas, and employed Social Network Analysis to understand the relationships between subjects of each departments.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the degree of content knowledge required of informatics teachers who will teach information ethics by distinguishing the subject from general ethics, and to grasp the status of information ethics education at graduate schools of education. In order to achieve this, the information ethics questions of the informatics teacher appointment exam from years 2002 to 2015 were analyzed as well as the curriculums of 32 graduate schools of education. The results of the study revealed that, first, questions related to information ethics were included in 10 exams, since the 2004 exam. Second, questions related to dysfunction were mainly addressed from the beginning of administering the exam but since 2010 many items related to copyrights, information security, and various addictions were added. Third, 11(33%) of the 32 graduate schools of education with informatics teacher training provide information ethics courses. This study is meaningful in that it will help to better understand the changes needed to update the information ethics related questions of the informatics teacher appointment exam, and to present a direction for information ethics education at graduate schools of education.

  • The purpose of this paper is to identify the relationship among five factors of web design, e-satisfaction, e-loyalty, and customer defection and provide the implications of marketing strategies in online shopping. The research findings are as follows: first, ease of use of web design affects positively e-satisfaction more than the other factors except financial security. Second, e-satisfaction affects positively e-loyalty. Third, e-satisfaction does not affect customer defection. Fourth, informativeness, styling, ease of use, and trust of web design affect indirectly e-loyalty by mediating e-satisfaction. Therefore, because there is a good circular relationship among web design, e-satisfaction, and e-loyalty, it is very important to enhance web design for customers. When customers satisfy highly with the factors of web design, e-loyalty is higher and customer defection is lower. Further, in a curriculum of web design it is needed to reflect the findings of this paper.
