AltBOC의 코드 추적을 위한 비모호 상관함수 생성 기법 (Generating Method of an Unambiguous Correlation Function for AltBOC Signal Tracking)

  • AltBOC 신호의 자기상관함수는 좁은 주 첨두로 인하여 향상된 측위 정확도를 제공한다. 하지만, AltBOC 신호의 자기상관함수에는 주변 첨두가 존재하기 때문에, 이로 인해 심각한 위치 추적 오류를 일으킬 수 있다는 단점이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 AltBOC 신호 추적을 위한 비모호 상관함수 생성 기법을 제안한다. 구체적으로는, 우선 서로 대칭인 부분 상관함수를 얻은 후, 이들을 조합하여 주변 첨두가 제거된 비모호 상관함수를 생성한다. 모의실험을 통해 제안한 상관함수를 이용하여 신호 추적을 수행할 경우, 기존의 상관함수들에 비해 더욱 뛰어난 추적 오류 표준 편차 (tracking error standard deviation: TESD) 성능을 보임을 확인한다.

  • 본 논문에서 다루는 보안 정형 명세를 지원하는 도구인 SPEAR II와 IFAD VDM-SL Toolbox의 추요 기능과 사용자 환경 및 동작 모듈, 코드 생성 과정을 비교하고, 보안 소프트웨어 개발을 위한 두 도구의 성능적 측면을 살펴 본 후 용이한 개발을 제공해주는 도구로부터의 보안 소프트웨어 개발 방안을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 보안 프로토콜 코드 생성 도구 기능 비교는 정형 명세 기법을 이용한 소프트웨어 개발 방법에서 정형 명세를 통한 보다 안전한 보안 소프트웨어를 개발하는 방향을 제시한다. 이러한 방향 제시를 통하여 보다 안전한 보안 소프트웨어 개발을 이룰 수 있다.

  • In this paper, GERT network in modeled to improve the network of manufacturing process with feedback loop. A lot of Information on the GERT network can be derived from the equivalent W-function and MGF(moment generating function) using Mason's rule. These equations are used in calculating the variations of the performance measure and in improving the system performance. System improvement in manufacturing process is achieved by increasing the equivalent probabilities of each branches and by decreasing the expected equivalent time.

  • This paper presents a methodology of estimating incomplete information in electricity markets for analyzing the gaming behavior of Generating Companies (GENCOs). Each GENCO needs to model its opponents' unknown information of strategic biddings and cost functions. In electricity markets with complete information, each GENCO knows its rivals' payoff functions and tries to maximize its own profit at Nash equilibriurnl Nli) by acknowledging the rivals' cost function. On the other hand, in the incomplete information markets, each GENCO lacks information about its rivals. Load patterns can change continuously due to many factors such as weather, price, contingency, etc. In this paper, we propose the method of the estimation of the opponents' cost function using market price, transaction quantities. and customer load patterns. A numerical example with two GENCOs is illustrated to show the basic idea and effectiveness of the proposed methodology.

  • We analyze queueing model with priority scheduling by supplementary variable method. Customers are classified into two types (type-1 and type-2 ) according to their characteristics. Customers of each type arrive by independent Poisson processes, and all customers regardless of type have same general service time. The service order of each type is determined by the queue length of type-1 buffer. If the queue length of type-1 customer exceeds a threshold L, the service priority is given to the type-1 customer. Otherwise, the service priority is given to type-2 customer. Method of supplementary variable by remaining service time gives us information for queue length of two buffers. That is, we derive the differential difference equations for our queueing system. We obtain joint probability generating function for two queue lengths and the remaining service time. Also, the mean queue length of each buffer is derived.

  • We consider $M_1,M_2/M/1$ retrial queues with two classes of customers in which the service rates depend on the total number or the customers served since the beginning of the current busy period. In the case that arriving customers are bloced due to the channel being busy, the class 1 customers are queued in the priority group and are served as soon as the channel is free, whereas the class 2 customers enter the retrical group in order to try service again after a random amount of time. For the first $N(N \geq 1)$ exceptional services model which is a special case of our model, we derive the joint generating function of the numbers of customers in the two groups. When N = 1 i.e., the first exceptional service model, we obtain the joint generating function explicitly and if the arrival rate of class 2 customers is 0, we show that the results for our model coincide with known results for the M/M/1 queues with smart machine.

Analysis of the Sociality and Democratic-Citizenship Changes from the Application of the Scratch Remix Function in Cooperative Learning

  • This study analyzed changes in sociality and democratic-citizenship among elementary school students in the information class and the science class at the Science Education Institute for the Gifted, who were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group engaged in the Learning Together (LT) cooperative form of learning for which the remix function of Scratch, an educational programming language, was applied, while the control group was given general instructor-led lessons. Members in the experimental group were able to modify processes during projects through the usage of the remix function, thereby actively participating in the projects and eventually generating team-based results. The post-class t-tests showed a greater degree of improvements in sociality and democratic citizenship for the experimental group that was offered the remix-function-based cooperative learning than the control group. Statistically significant differences were present between two groups particularly in "cooperative spirit" sub-domain of sociality and the "community" and "responsibility" sub-domains of democratic citizenship.

개선된 역전파 신경회로망을 이용한 온라인 필기체 숫자의 분류에 관한 연구 (On the Classification of Online Handwritten Digits using the Enhanced Back Propagation of Neural Networks)

  • The back propagation of neural networks has the problems of falling into local minimum and delay of the speed by the iterative learning. An algorithm to solve the problem and improve the speed of the learning was already proposed in[8], which updates the learning parameter related with the connection weight. In this paper, we propose the algorithm generating initial weight to improve the efficiency of the algorithm by offering the difference between the input vector and the target signal to the generating function of initial weight. The algorithm proposed here can classify more than 98.75% of the handwritten digits and this rate shows 30% more effective than the other previous methods.

  • This paper discusses cubic equations in general saddlepoint approximations. Exact roots are found for various cases by trigonometric identities, the root which is appropriate for the general saddlepoint approximations is selected and discussed, and the defective cases in which the general saddlepoint approximations cannot be used are found.

  • In this paper, the encoder of the hybrid type which can use a single position sensor in order to overcome the use of multiple signal lines and the reliability reduction for the location information acquisition caused by using a plurality of position detectors to acquire the position information of the rotor offer. Encoder of the proposed method was the replacement location information generating function by the plurality of sensors to the Capture function of the shape and the microcomputer of the encoder plate. Capture of the DSP function was verified through experiments using the in order to verify the validity of the detection by the proposed method and the hybrid encoder position prototyping, a means.
