A Study on the Application of the Technology Tree for Water Hazard Information Platform (수재해 정보 플랫폼을 위한 기술트리 활용 방안 연구)

  • Technology planning is becoming increasingly important with the rapid development and decline of technology. Technology roadmapping is a tool used to select whether the specific technique of technology planning should pursue which technology and in which time. This technology is important to secure the uncertain future since it will provide a method that is able to share the goals and strategies between organizations. Therefore, technology tree in the planning stage of the problem would be a very useful tool. In this study, both domestic and international technology tree application cases were analyzed to be able to derive a plan for ensuring that the research performed and the requirements are met for the future development and implementation of a convergence portal system. The six major systems that aim at water hazard information platform are basic information providing system, analysis information providing system, water disaster theme providing system, national disaster information system, water disaster augmented reality system and open information platform system. General standardized core technologies corresponding to the needed functions in each target system are derived through brainstorming, and classified according to the technology field to derive the technology tree.

  • Recently the paradigm of business management has changed. The businesses have restored to ERP or BPR to integrate their information system. But now they are trying to find out a new competitiveness in tacit knowledge of individuals. The creative company has come to put much weigh on the value of their employee′s "non-patternized" knowledge. And this trend has seen a development into a theory of knowledge management in which "non-patternized" knowledge, along with explicit knowledge, is also considered as a source of competitiveness. With the hypothesis that the recognition of the knowledge management and the utilization of the information technology will have influence on the integration of the integrating the information system information system into a new phase, this study carries out a research on the effects of knowledge management and information technology on management achievement. According to this study the distribution of knowledge has an effect on the integration of information system and management achievement. The asset of knowledge, however, has little effect on them. This means that the recognition of the asset of knowledge alone can't affect the management achievement, but when combined with the recognition of the distribution of knowledge, it can have influence on the management achievement. Thus, a company has to enhance the recognition of the distribution of knowledge. And with this, a company can have a business management based on management achievement and the integration of information system utilizing information technology and the recognition of knowledge management. A company has to promote it business achievement by integrating the information system utilizing information technology and recognizing knowledge management.

  • While the environment of usage of information and technology is getting stable and technology is being developed more deeply due to the globalization, making information, standardization, in order to make a fast response to the new industry strategy and business environment, mutual communication and management of correct and fast information are focused on as fundamental elements of keeping competitive power. Accordingly strategic development of urban transit operation organization, storage of information technology of urban railroad, and buildup of standard information infra are very important, so that computerized information system has been built up standardizing efficient maintenance framework of urban transit facilities. To maintain these facilities efficiently, storing the real-time information by standardizing the maintenance organization and building up computerized information system are very important with management of information history of existing maintenance work. Therefore, for the efficient maintenance of track system among urban transit facilities, standardized facilities classification and definition of management elements, and the plan of designing and building standardized database about track. system through standardizing technology resources are described in this paper.

AIT: A method for operating system kernel function call graph generation with a virtualization technique

  • Operating system (OS) kernel function call graphs have been widely used in OS analysis and defense. However, most existing methods and tools for generating function call graphs are designed for application programs, and cannot be used for generating OS kernel function call graphs. This paper proposes a virtualization-based call graph generation method called Acquire in Trap (AIT). When target kernel functions are called, AIT dynamically initiates a system trap with the help of a virtualization technique. It then analyzes and records the calling relationships for trap handling by traversing the kernel stacks and the code space. Our experimental results show that the proposed method is feasible for both Linux and Windows OSs, including 32 and 64-bit versions, with high recall and precision rates. AIT is independent of the source code, compiler and OS kernel architecture, and is a universal method for generating OS kernel function call graphs.

  • Recently, e-business has very much attention in the management fields because it is expected to fundamentally change the way many business compete. Business that don't understand the changes and that can't change their operating model in time will be at a disadvantage. Information technology infrastructure and its management are key components of e-business The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of information technology infrastructure and its management to the type of information systems used and the use of e-business. A total of 56 Korean firms responded to the survey instrument. There was indirect effect to the use of e-business from the information technology structure via communication capacity and direct effect from management type. The study also found that firms with less centralized forms of information technology were more frequent users of e-business, Firms that have more freedom in information technology decision making tended to be users of the new technology and take advantage opportunities that exits on the information technology.

  • According to the empirical study, the research model has been verified about the introduction of new ubiquitous technology into the Customs Information System. The research model is meaningful in deducing policy for accepting the new ubiquitous technology into the Customs Information System. The organization style is not yet positively accomplished, because of insufficient recognition about the new ubiquitous instrument. The other side the individual style, environmental style and working characteristics are contribute to accept the new ubiquitous environment, because of sufficient of education, usage and recognizing the usefulness of the portal information. It is established the Customs Information System with new ubiquitous technology such as RFID, DM, UCR etc.. for the usefulness and convenience.

  • The current technology drain at small and medium-sized enterprises in Korea is very serious. According to the National Intelligence Service's survey data, 69 percent of technology leaks are made through employees of small and medium-sized enterprises. A document security system was introduced to compensate for the problem. However, small and medium-sized enterprises are not doing well due to their poor environment. Therefore, it proposes a document security system suitable for small businesses by developing a location information machine learning system that automatically creates a document security Green Zone through learning, and an ECM-based electronic document leakage prevention system that manages generated Green Zone information by reflecting it into the document authority system.   • The use of national R&D reports becomes a difficult task due to the different level of service being provided and the different way used for its construction by the institute in management. One-stop service of its contents is impossible and there is a lack of specialized service such as a system to satisfy the various needs of the researchers. This study analyzes the laws related to the national R&D reports and the evaluation system of the R&D outputs for the design and construction of the DB and system for the management of the national R&D reports. We also perform an analysis of the economic effect of the system.
