  • This study presents the eigen ethnic function and mathematical processing method of human information. Human information can be definded as the overlap area taking the superposition property composed of intuition and sensory in stimulus/response (S/R) model, In S/R model, the intuition and sensory eigen ethnic function acts on the forming of perception. Perception process by the superposition property of intuition and sensory analogy to the basic neural network model. This analogy model extends to the analysis method. As an analysis method, optimal ratio number induced to the golden section ratio. Golden section ratio drived out by diverse source and implicated to the sensory and intuitive context such as beauty, harmony, optimality etc. This numerical orders can be applied to analysing the Perception process and extended to pursue the Potential human behavior, On the basic of proposed applying method, an illustrative mathematical examples are presented.

  • This paper investigates the effectiveness of public credit guarantee programs and interest-support programs for SMEs (small and medium enterprises). First, assuming that there is an imperfect information structure in the SME loan market, we analyze how SME support financial programs affect the corporate decisions made by SMEs with regard to default or loan sizes. In addition, this paper theoretically computes the optimal levels of credit guarantee amounts and the interest-support spread under equilibrium with imperfect information in a competitive loan market. Second, the paper empirically analyzes the continuous policy-treatment effect with the GPS (generalized propensity score) method. In particular, we consider the ratio of guaranteed debt to the total debt as a continuous policy treatment. The empirical results show that marginal effects of a credit guarantee on SMEs' productivity, profitability, and growth potential decrease with the ratio of guaranteed debt to the total debt. In addition, the average effect of a credit guarantee is maximized when this ratio is at 50% to 60%.

  • This article explores the analysis of longitudinal surveys in which same units are investigated on several occasions. Multivariate exponential ratio type estimator has been proposed for the estimation of the finite population median at the current occasion in two occasion longitudinal surveys. Information on several additional auxiliary variables, which are stable over time and readily available on both the occasions, has been utilized. Properties of the proposed multivariate estimator, including the optimum replacement strategy, are presented. The proposed multivariate estimator is compared with the sample median estimator when there is no matching from a previous occasion and with the exponential ratio type estimator in successive sampling when information is available on only one additional auxiliary variable. The merits of the proposed estimator are justified by empirical interpretations and validated by a simulation study with the help of some natural populations.

  • The adaptive power control of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) systems for communications between User Equipments (UEs) with a link-budget based Signal-to-Interference Ratio (SIR) estimate which has distance information is applied to three inner loop power control algorithms. The speed estimation performances of these algorithms with their consecutive Transmit-Power-Control (TPC) ratios are compared to each other, and it is concluded that the speed can be estimated using the TPC ratio information of Consecutive TPC Ratio Step-size Closed Loop Power Control (CS-CLPC) and Fixed Step-size Power Control (FSPC).

  • Recently the occurrence ratio of mechanical accidents in industrial disaster of korea is increased, but very little accident information has been given regarding the prevention of mechanical accidents. In this study, mechanical accidents by the analysis of industrial accident case was examined. And it was proposed the risk assessment method and building database for investigation of risk factors in mechanical accident. As a result, from mechanical accidents database, it was found that the occurrence ratio of mechanical accident by constriction and falling etc. is very high and death ratio by mechanical accident is larger than that of usual accident. And we applied the quantitative risk assessment method proposed by this study in the mechanical accident analysis of a domestic manufacturer. From the results, the risk factors due to constriction, curling, falling and scattering are principal causes of mechanical accidents. These result is similar to that of the analysis of mechanical accidents for recent 12 years in korea.

  • We develop noninformative priors for a ratio of parameters of two Maxwell distributions which is used to check the equality of two Maxwell distributions. Specially, we focus on developing probability matching priors and Je reys' prior for objectiv Bayesian inferences. The probability matching priors, under which the probability of the Bayesian credible interval matches the frequentist probability asymptotically, are developed. The posterior propriety under the developed priors will be shown. Some simulations are performed for identifying the usefulness of proposed priors in objective Bayesian inference.

  • The original DANTE sequence and its variations have limitation in excitation profile (a sinc function-like excitation) due to the finite duration of the DANTE pulsetrain. This sinc function-like selection profile excites only a small fraction of the spins in the pixel thereby results in poor signal to noise ratio (only about ${\sim}1%$ of normal MR imaging sequence). Therefore, this poor signal to noise ratio (SNR) has been the main drawback of the original DANTE sequence. To improve the signal to noise ratio, phases of individual RF pulses in the DANTE pulse train were modulated so that more spins in the object were excited ($1{\sim}3$). We have introduced a new FM (Frequency Modulation) DANTE sequence and analyzed the signal intensity and excitation profiles.

  • This paper studies quick detection of variance change point for iid data. For development of sensitive and adaptive variance change point detector, moving variance ratio is employed as a variance ratio estimator. It is shown that selection of tuning parameters of detector, (i.e., information and lag tuning parameters) is critical for detector to achieve desirable sensitivity and adaptiveness. Interestingly our simulation result reveals limitations of the commonly used change ratio against the previous day. Our results will provide useful insight when the detector is applied to time series data.

  • In our study, by observing and analyzing normal liver in abdominal CT image, we estimated gray value range and generated binary image. In the binary image, we achieved the number of hole which is located between pixels. Depending on the ratio, we processed the input image to 4 kinds of mesh images to remove the noise part that has the different ratio. With the Union image of 4 kinds of mesh images, we generated the template representing general outline of liver and subtracted from the binary image so the we can represent the organ boundary to be minute. With results of proposed method, processing time is reduced compared with existing method and we compared the result image to manual image of medical specialists.

  • In this paper, we analyze the spectrum-sensing performance of a cooperative cognitive radio (CR) network consisting of a number of CR nodes and a fusion center (FC). We introduce the "log-average-SNR ratio" that relates the average SNR of the CR-node-FC link and that of the primary-user-CR-node link. Assuming that the FC utilizes the K-out-of-N rule as its decision rule, we derive exact expressions for the sensing gain and the coding gain - parameters used to characterize the CR network performance at the high SNR region. Based on these results, we determine ways to optimize the performance of the CR network.
