The study was composed of 145 students who were studying in fourth year student at colleges. Data were collected from May to June, 2019. Data analysis included an independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression using the SPSS program. As a result of this study, nursing professional value of those was significantly correlated with clinical nurse's character, clinical practice stress and stress coping. In a regression analysis, nursing professional value accounted for 38.2%(F=43.973, p=.000), of the variance of clinical nurse's character and stress coping. The most significant factor affection the success of nursing professional value was stress coping(β=.508, p=.000). The result of the study indicates the importance of developing clinical nurse's character and applying variety stress coping method for positive nursing professional value of nursing students.

  • The purpose of this study is to review articles related to disaster training for nursing students and nurses by investigating the contents and effects of research. Electronic databases, including CINAHL, Pubmed and RISS were searched. Papers published only in English or Korean were included. Twelve studies were selected from the 3,588 references screened. Most training programs took less than 8 hours, focusing mostly on the response phase of disaster. Intervention methods included simulation, debriefing, action learning, role play, problem based learning and so on. It was found that disaster training programs have significant positive effects on disaster management competency, disaster knowledge, disaster nursing related self-confidence, and disaster response competency. It was also revealed that multidisciplinary practice would help learners enhance cooperation and collaboration with other team members and foster a positive professional identity. Among the selected articles, the randomized controlled trial(RCT) study was just one. Therefore, RCTs are further needed to verify the effects of such an disaster training. Also, further studies considering the characteristics of department and nursing interventions based on all phases of disaster are needed.

  • This study was conducted in order to identify the level of dietary behavior and investigate factors that influence dietary behavior in nursing students. This study was a descriptive survey including 304 students in D city. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression with SPSS 18. The average score of the subject's dietary behavior was 2.72. In the correlation of dietary behavior, there was a significant positive correlation with health concern and dietary attitude, and there was no correlation with nutrition knowledge. Models including the variables, health concern, perceived health status, exercise, dietary attitude and residential type explained 24.4% of the variance for dietary behavior. Health concern was the most influential factor. A practical intervention program which includes these significant variables of subjects is essential to improve of good dietary behavior.

  • We investigated the morphology of the scalp hair shaft from the base to the distal end of the newborn hair and the ratio of the longitudinal axis diameter of the scale exposed to the surface of the hair to the diameter of the hair by scanning electron microscopy(SEM). Neonatal hair was observed to taper from the area adjacent to the scalp toward the end of the hair. In this study, as the thickness of the hair increases, the ratio of the long axis diameter of the exposed scale becomes relatively small, but the long axis diameter of the exposed scale on the surface of the hair is similar in length regardless of the thickness of the hair. In conclusion, it was confirmed that the major axis diameter of the scales exposed to the surface of fine or thick hair does not change significantly.

  • This study is a descriptive study to investigate the presenteeism of nursing in long-term care hospital and general hospital. Data collection was conducted from October 01, 2019 to December 30, 2019. 74 nursing in long-term care hospital and 75 nursing in general hospital in this study. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS Win 21.0 program. Long-term care hospital nurses perceived higher health problems, job loss and perceiver productivity than general hospital nurses. This shows that there is no difference in work intensity according to the classification of patients in long-term care hospitals and general hospital nurses. In order to improve the quality of nursing care services in long-term care hospitals, it is necessary to manage the organizational aspects of long-term care hospital nurses' presenteeism.

A questionnaire survey was conducted to 180 dental hygienists working at dental institutions and public health centers. 4.6% of all respondents answered that they use dental loupes currently, and 38.9% answered that they need to introduce dental loupes in the dental clinic. About half indicated that loupes were a benefit to improved vision(53%) and Improved clarity(44%). The most commonly reported disadvantages to loupes wear were limited depth of vision(39%) and overall dependency. It was confirmed that most dental hygienists did not use loupes, there was little interest in loupes. More research is needed on the effects of loupes in dental practice.

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the factors affecting self - esteem of orthodontic patients. The factors affecting the self - esteem of the orthodontic patients were monthly incomes, and the factors influencing the necessity of orthodontic treatment were the highest at 20-25 years of age. The factors affecting the self - esteem of the orthodontic patients were the order of correction (β= 0.186), dental treatment satisfaction (β= 0.236), interpersonal relationship (β= 0.407), and the explanatory power of the model was 27.6%. Based on these results, it is necessary to continuously study the psychological characteristics to improve the recognition of the need for correction of orthodontic patients, the satisfaction of dental treatment, and the interpersonal relationship.

  • This study evaluated the anti-aging activity with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and moisture activity of Ganoderma lucidum spore oil(GLS). GLS increased DPPH radical scavenging activity in a dose-dependent manners. Anti-inflammatory assay measured the inhibitory effect of GLS on NO, TNF-α and IL-6 production in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. As a result GLS inhibited NO and pro-inflammatory cytokine, TNF-α, IL-6 production. Also using human fibroblast cell to the procollagen production analysis and COL1A1 mRNA expression level analysis for defining, and for AQP-3 mRNA expression level analysis, used human keratinocyte cell. GLS increased procollagen production and COL1A1, AQP-3 mRNA expression. Our results suggest that the GLS have potential anti-inflammatory and wrinkle improves, skin moisture effect.

  • This study was conducted to identify the changes in academic self-efficacy and self-directed learning ability after applying flipped learning using media convergence to the basic nursing practice courses. It is offering flipped learning to 22 students from the experimental group and 26 students from the control group. Data were collected from August 27 to December 3, 2019. The difference in academic self-efficacy before and after the flipped learning was no significant difference between the two groups. However, the difference in self-directed learning ability was 11.32 points in the experimental group and 0.23 points in the control group (t=2.32, p=.027). According to the results of this study, flipped learning using media convergence was found to be an effective teaching method to improve self-directed learning ability of students. Therefore, it is necessary to study the expanded application of flipped learning using media convergence to various nursing subjects.

The subjects of this study participated 30 persons, Experimental group was performed Jewelry bed self treatment programs combined with lower body and lower extremity pattern and trunk for three times per week, during 4 weeks. A dysmenorrhea was appeared younger women's with naengkam. The results of comparison of variations in each groups showed that there was a significant difference in the experimental group(p<0.05). It looks liked limited but this research got a meaning to successful recovery motivations can gives to un-selfished peoples with dysmenorrhea problems on their physical body. Finally, It mentioned these study results will be useful as reference data for the research about the reduce for women's dysmenorrhea in the later.
