  • During the last few decades, several companies and research laboratories have developed construction robots in an effort to improve productivity, quality, and reduce construction time and safety concerns. Recently, domestic construction industry is also interested in developing the construction robots. However, the studies on the research and development process is impossible in real field. A existing research's object is the development of the research on the assumption that construction's environment is a fixed form, But real construction's environment is very dynamic and atypical. So it is very difficult that we apply construction automation and robots. In order to solve this problem, this study deduce influential factors on decision making of frame construction scheduling for automated construction.

Influential Factors for the IT Investment Decision Making Quality: An Empirical Study Focus on IT Governance

  • In recent years, many leading corporations are actively adopting IT as competitive resources to improve productivity and processes efficiency with strategic alignments. In effect, IT investment also continues to increase. As a vast growth of IT investment, questions and criticism on recent IT investment results are also rapidly being raised. Especially, improper decision making and management on IT investment may cause negative impact on the company's reputation and finances, therefore companies need reasonable and wise investment decision making on new IT projects. This study applies the conceptual framework of IT governance to IT investment decision making cases to examine how IT investment governance influences the quality of IT investment decision making and how business-IT strategic alignment affects the quality of IT investment decision making. This paper contributes to identify the main factors for reasonable and effective IT investment decision making and expected to provide proper guidelines for IT investment decision making.

The Effect of Career Decision Making Self-efficacy and Military Duty Planning on Career Preparation Behavior among Male Nursing Students (남자 간호대학생의 진로결정자기효능감, 병역의무계획이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate factors influencing career preparation behavior among male nursing students in South Korea. Methods: Data were collected from May 25 to June 17, 2018 and a total of 158 male nursing students participated in this study. Career decision making self-efficacy, military duty planning, and career preparation behavior were measured using a structured questionnaire. Collected data were analyzed with SPSS 25.0 for windows. Results: There was a statistically significant difference in career preparation behavior of participants according to entrance motivation and desired career after graduation. There were statistically significant correlations between career decision making self-efficacy and career preparation behavior (r=.65, p<.001), and between military duty planning and career preparation behavior (r=.45, p<.001). The influential factors for career preparation behavior were career decision making self-efficacy (${\beta}=.64$, p<.001), and military duty planning (${\beta}=.42$, p<.001). These factors accounted for 42% of the variance in career preparation behavior. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that to improve career preparation behavior for male nursing students, it is necessary to enhance career decision making self-efficacy and military duty planning.

The effects of ethical decision making factors on vocational ethics and job satisfaction of firefighters (윤리적 의사결정 영향요인이 소방공무원의 직업윤리의식과 직무만족에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to analyze the effects of ethical decision making factors on vocational ethics and job satisfaction of firefighters and to provide basic data to promote appropriate vocational ethics and improve job satisfaction. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by firefighters in D metropolitan area from May 7 to 15, 2017. A total of 410 data were analyzed using SPSS 24.0 program. Results: Among influential factors of ethical decision making, "ethical environment of organization"(${\beta}=.266$), "coworkers' influence" (${\beta}=.216$), and "managers' ethical competence" (${\beta}=.148$), 'compensation and punishment'(${\beta}=.097$) had a positive effect on vocational ethics, while "coworkers' influence" (${\beta}=.281$), "ethical environment of organization" (${\beta}=.274$), and "managers' ethical competence" (${\beta}=.143$) had a positive effect on job satisfaction. Vocational ethics was found to have a significantly positive effect on job satisfaction (B=.657, t=8.802, p=.000). Conclusion: It is necessary to promote vocational ethics for improvement of firefighters' job satisfaction, and appropriate ethics education should be provided. It is important to actively manage the factors affecting ethical decision making.

An Analysis of Factors InFluencing Copyright Protection Decision-Making among Korean eSports Game Users (e-스포츠 콘텐츠 이용자들의 저작권보호 의사결정에 대한 영향요인 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the factors influencing copyright protection decision-making among Korean eSports game users. Data collection was conducted over a month at an eSports arena located in Seoul. Of the surveys collected, 354 valid data (88.5% of response rate) were analyzed in SPSS Ver. 20.0 through descriptive statistics, correlation and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that copyright protection decision-making regarding eSports contents was significantly influenced by legal/moral norm, perceive group norm, and past habit/behavior. Among the factors, legal/moral norm was found to be the most influential on copyright protection decision-making.

  • Objectives: This study aimed to analyze the correlation among dental hygiene students' life stress, grit, and career decisionmaking self-efficacy, and to identify the factors influencing career decision-making self-efficacy. Methods: Data were collected through a survey from October 19 to November 7, 2020, targeting 196 students enrolled in dental hygiene departments in Daejeon and Daegu. Life stress, grit, and career decision-making self-efficacy were measured. For data analysis, the descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis were performed using SPSS/WIN 24.0. Results: Life stress was 2.12 points, grit was 3.07 points, and career decision-making self-efficacy was 3.43 points. Career decision-making self-efficacy was influenced by satisfaction with the course department, as well as life stress and grit; the most influential factor was found to be grit. These variables could explain career decision-making self-efficacy by 23.8%. Conclusions: For students to advance successfully into society as dental hygienists, a career decision-making self-efficacy promotion program that can help students achieve self-confidence and establish career goals should be developed. additionally, a program that can enhance grit should be included in this development.

Effect of Career Decision-making Self-efficacy and Career Identity by Health Science College Students on Job Preparation Behavior (일부 보건계열 대학생들의 진로결정자기효능감 및 진로정체감이 취업준비행동에 미치는 영향)

  • Objectives: This study is designed to evaluate the influential factors of career decision-making self-efficacy and career identity by health science college students on their job preparation beaviors. Methods: The total 714 questionnaires were distributed to juniors and seniors of health science college, and the result was statistically analyzed through IBM SPSS statistics 20.0. Results: 1. There was no significant difference of job preparation behavior between male students and female students, and while seniors showed highly active job preparation behaviors, those who had high satisfaction level toward their major studies, high academic achievement, and outgoing personality had highly active job preparation behaviors. 2. Students with high satisfaction level toward their major studies, high academic achievement, outgoing personality, and high expected salaries showed high career decision-making self-efficacy level. 3. Students with high satisfaction level toward their major studies, high academic achievement and highly outgoing personality showed high level of career identity. 4. Subsidiary factors of career decision-making self-efficacy were collection of job information, goal setting, planning, and self-assessment, and all of them showed correlation with job preparation behaviors. 5. Among subsidiary factors of career decision-making self-efficacy, "self-understanding" and understanding of job information showed correlation with job preparation behaviors. Conclusion: For improvement on career decision-making self-efficacy and career identity of health science college students, individual support, psychological support, educational support and other supports regarding job employment to provide wide paths and methods for job preparation behaviors are essential, and through various job employment education program and graded counseling, job preparation behaviors shall be promoted as a great strategy.

A Study on the Factory of Design Influencing Purchase Decision-making Factors at Social Commerce Sites (소셜커머스 사이트의 구매결정 요인에 영향을 미치는 디자인 요인)

  • In recent days, lots of social commerce newly emerged business types of e-commerces are on the basis of social network. Therefore social commerce with social network might be powerful communication channel among customers and has suggested new paradigm in transaction model on the internet. In general, major roles of social commerce sites are to promote transaction with high discount rate and/or lots of event and to activate markets of local area. As characteristics of social commerce such as dynamic, rapid, and open, this research was assumed that design factors of sites that are different from existing e-commerce sites might be influential elements in decision making of purchase. This research is to empirically investigate which factors affect purchase decision making behaviors for 20s respondents who are major users of social commerce services. As a result major factor, easy-to-use, affecting decision making factors was identified and this result can give implication to researchers and persons in charge of fields who have interests in commerce site design and upgrade.

An Analysis on Weighing the Decision Making Factors of Ship Investments for Korean Shipping Companies (우리나라 해운기업의 선박확보 투자 의사결정요인에 관한 연구)

  • Korean shipping industry is ranked the fifth largest in the world in terms of deadweight tonnage after Greece, Japan, Germany and China with 55 million DWT as of year 2011, and its size of foreign exchange earning marked 30 billion US dollars. In respect of volume of seaborne trade, it has handled 99% of import and export cargoes. Korean shipping fleets have increased from 420 to 979 ships between year 2003 to year 2011. By reviewing through the relating literatures, it has been found that Shipping Funds under Ship Investment Company Act, and Tonnnage Tax System, worked as positive influences to increase the Korean shipping fleets. However, there is scant of research to examine the following two points: 1) weighing the decision making factors of ship investments for Korean shipping companies, and 2) weighing the influential factors of government shipping policies. In this respect, the aim of this study is to evaluate 8 decision making factors of ship investments for Korean shipping companies, and 8 influential factors of government shipping policies. For weighing the factors, the fuzzy methodology was adopted. As the results, for the side of decision making factors of ship investments, 'shipping market conditions and future prospects', 'ship's price and future prospects, and 'securing cargoes and future prospects' are ranked as top 3 factors. For government shipping policies side, 'shipping finance provided by lease companies', 'establishment of Korea Shipping Guarantee Fund', and 'establishment of Korea Shipping Finance Corporation' are verified as the important factors.

Korean Families Eating-out Behavior in Relation to Family Life Cycle (가족생활주기에 따른 가족외식행동의 차이)

  • This study was conducted to compare families eating-out behavior in relation to family life cycle in order to provide basic information on nutritional education about eating-out. The data were collected by the survey method from 440 families who lived in apartment complexes in Kyong-ju and Seoul. The structured questionnaire included items about the frequency of eating out, the choice of eating-out menus, the decision maker of the eating-out process, the attitudes toward eating out and the general characteristics of the families. The major results are as follow: 1) In the cafe of telephone delivery service, and eat-in restaurants, the subjects showed statistical significance (p < 0.01). With respect to telephone delivery service, families in Step II used it most frequently, but families in Step I rarely used it. With respect to eat-in restaurants, families in Step II used them most frequently but families in Step IV rarely used them. 2) In all the family life cycle steps, the most favorable menu was fried chicken for take-out type, Chajang noodles, fried chicken and pizza fur telephone delivery, pizza for internet delivery, raw fish and beef for eat-in restaurant, Docbokki, laver rolled rice and ramyun for convenience flood stores. 3) The wife was most influential in making decisions about the take-out type (p < 0.001). In the case of telephone deliveries (p < 0.001), the wife was the most influential in the families of Steps I and II, but the children were the most influential in the families of Steps III and IV. In the case of eat-in restaurants (p < 0.001), the husband had the most effect on the decision-making process. In the case of convenience flood stores (p < 0.001), the children were the most influential in the families in Steps III and IV. In most family life cycle steps, each of them chose their own meal. 4) from a factor analysis perspective, attitudes toward eating out have been grouped according to two factors, namely 'Advantage' and 'Nutrition'. No factor showed a significant difference among the family life cycle steps.
