쌍대반응표면최적화를 위한 반복적 선호도사후제시법 (An Iterative Posterior Preference Articulation Approach to Dual Response Surface Optimization)

  • Purpose: This paper aims at improving inefficiency of an existing posterior preference articulation method proposed for dual response surface optimization. The method generates a set of non-dominated solutions and then allows a decision maker (DM) to select the best solution among them through an interval selection strategy. Methods: This paper proposes an iterative posterior preference articulation method, which repeatedly generates the predetermined number of non-dominated solutions in an interval which becomes gradually narrower over rounds. Results: The existing method generates a good number of non-dominated solutions not used in the DM's selection process, while the proposed method generates the minimal number of non-dominated solutions necessitated in the selection process. Conclusion: The proposed method enables a satisfactory compromise solution to be achieved with minimal cognitive burden of the DM as well as with light computation load in generating non-dominated solutions.

  • Higher productivity and less cost during the manufacturing process of ships are required to maintain international competitiveness of modern shipbuilding industries. The integrated hull/ outfitting/ painting scheduling(IHOP) process is a final point, where logistics are finally being integrated and upcoming schedules are made. Therefore, more profits are expected from IHOP by effective management. In this thesis, IHOP is proposed in order to solve how to choose block erection date with IHOP scheduling logic. The result of IHOP scheduling is highly advised to utilize fabrication, outfitting shops. A standardized operation and load of resource will eventually be applied in long-term time span point of view for this will make it easy to enable capacity planning and workforce planning. It is also expected to eliminate inefficiency in overtime work and efficiently utilize manpower in short-term.

  • Currently, 10% of the domestic aircraft accidents and 9% of delays and cancellations were generated due to poor maintenance. Aircraft maintenance work is divided into works in material warehouse and in hangar. In material warehouse, the problem in aircraft maintenance work is occurred when the serial number of parts are identified and entered. In hangar, work order are duplicatively written. In addition, the maintenance information is not shared and then work order is wrong delivered. In this study, we analyzed the maintenance process and the informations that occurs in the material warehouse and hangar for large airline company to solve the problems. And serial numbers are replaced by QR code. And documented work order and manual are handled using the tablet PC. In conclusion, this paper studied smart work of maintenance process about tire parts. We expect to improve the inefficiency of identification of serial number and total maintenance time is reduced by real-time information sharing.

  • This is a case study of Seoul St. Mary's Hospital applying a real-time enterprise (RTE) strategy to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency with the main process of medical institutions. The hospital is applying an RTE strategy to get real-time information on occurrences at each contact point of the main process of the medical institution from reservation to discharge through dashboard and to resolve issues through rapid decision-making. The RTE strategy of the hospital has some summaries: First, the hospital has linked a hospital management strategy to the RTE strategy to build a patient-centered treatment process. Second, the hospital has operated a control tower for change management and implementation monitoring in the process of implementing the RTE strategy. Third, the hospital has built systematic RTE-based environment as an application program in which the nU System is linked to Business Processor Renovation (BPR) promoted from 2006 on. Fourth, the hospital is applying a strategy to improve efficiency in operating the hospital by increasing customer satisfaction, removing inefficiency and variability, and managing medical resources efficiently through the RTE strategy. Fifth, it has established an information-sharing system through authority management for each user in terms of RTE information. Sixth, it has supplemented limitations of short-term information of the RTE strategy by linking the key performance index to the cost information system in order to improve performance of the RTE strategy. Seventh, it has improved customer satisfaction and achieved higher performance in improving operational efficiency, as compared with rival hospitals, through the RTE strategy.

사출가공공정에서 설비생산성 향상을 위한 관리체계에 대한 연구 (A Study on Management System for Improving of Equipment Productivity in Injection Machining Process)

  • This study investigates application cases of facility management system model for enhancing facility productivity of industry filed around medium and small facility processing companies and finds the inefficiency of the existing management model. Following items are researched to seek out methods and measures to maximize facility productivity through empirical analysis by exploring and establishing a new management model. First, the empirical analysis, it is found that the overall equipment efficiency index used for facility productivity management in the companies has a difficulty being used as the index for it in actual medium-small processing companies. Second, a new facility management system model applying standard cycle time is suggested among facility management index system to measure facility productivity. Third, the empirical analysis is used to verify that developed facility management system model is a useful method to manage the facility productivity by applying the model to actual medium-small processing companies. Finally, it is necessary to implement comparison analysis on whether actual productivity enhancement induces a distinctly different result by using a new facility management index system model to be inhibited in this study.

  • Construction plans for large construction projects are problems such as Incompatibility of information, omissions due to technical limitations of 2D CAD. In addition to, Plan established for the validation such as process, cost and construction technology plan is difficult. By occurring Frequent changes in the course of business, Inefficiency of management has occurred. In the construction process, there is occurred costs and construction delays due to reconstruction or communication error. In this study, It was deemed BIM will complement Existing 2D CAD problem. And, BIM case studies in the construction phase of domestic construction were analyzed, How to apply BIM in the construction phase investigated.

국가 화재조사 자료 활용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Application of National Fire Investigation Data)

  • 소방서는 재난관리의 대응기관으로서 각종 현장에 출동하여 현장상황에 대한 많은 경험과 자료를 축적하여 화재예방 및 진압활동 등에 활용할 수 있음에도 불구하고 사고의 기록, 분석, 정보관리 등이 미흡한 실정이다. 이러한 사항을 보완하기 위하여 소방방재청에서는 화재조사팀을 주축으로 "국가 화재조사분류체계"를 혁신적으로 개선하였다. 본 연구에서는 소방서에서 수행하고 있는 기존의 화재조사 과정과 자료 취득 및 분석 과정을 살펴보고, 활용 방안을 제시함으로서 "국가 화재조사분류체계"의 운영에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다.

영화시각효과 프로젝트에서 팀 역량 강화를 위한 스크럼 방법론 적용 (Application of Scrum based Methodology to Improve the Team Competence in Visual Effects Project)

  • As the computer graphic technology has developed rapidly, the management of visual effects production has also changed. However, the insufficient rest and the inefficiency of communication have resulted in more pressure which would weaken the strength of the whole team. For searching the possible solution, this research has applied the SCRUM in VFX production and analyzed the impact of SCRUM for VFX project management. SCRUM was first used in the projects of software development, but now there are already many successful examples of introducing SCRUM into their facilities in various fields. This paper has used SCRUM in the experimental group and present methodology in VFX project management in the control group for the same project. Based on the analysis of the questionnaire investigation from both group with using t-test for data analysis, it has confirmed the credibility of the questions in the questionnaire index as α > 0.72. With the result of analysis based on the corresponding samples of the t-test, it shows the diversity of SCRUM for project management, and the convenience of communication within the team can enhance the team strength. Follow-up research will attend to provide more suggestions for applying SCRUM in other areas in project management.

  • 최근 건설 사업에서 시공이전단계인 설계단계 공사비관리의 중요성이 대두되고 있지만, 설계단계 공사비관리를 위한 제도적 장치나 기술수준은 외국에 비해 매우 낙후되어 있다. 전통적으로 건설 사업에서 공사비관리는 시공단계에 국한되어, 설계단계 공사비관리를 위한 기본 틀과 분류 표준, 공사비 데이터 등 인프라가 부족하여 설계단계 공사비관리 업무를 수행하는데 있어 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국내 설계단계에서 공사비관리가 효율적으로 수행되기 위해 관리되어야 할 주요 영향요인을 도출하고자 하였다. 설계실무자를 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 설계단계 공사비관리 현황과 문제점을 분석하였고, 설계단계 공사비관리 저해항목에 대해 공사비관리 업무에 미치는 영향도를 조사하였다. 요인분석을 통해 5개의 설계단계 공사비관리 주요 영향요인을 도출하여 향후 설계단계 공사비관리 지원도구 및 제도적 기반 구축에 기여할 수 있도록 하였다.

Benefits of Early Stakeholder Involvement in Korean Railway Infrastructure Project

  • Purpose: In the Korean railway infrastructure process, contractors and operators are involved at a later stage, which results in significant inefficiency. This study examines the benefits of early stakeholder involvement in Korean railway infrastructure projects and provides practical guidelines. Design, data and methodology: Literatures and foreign cases are analyzed. Building on the new product development model, we derive propositions explaining the relationship between early stakeholder involvement and the performance of Korean railway infrastructure project. Results: Major propositions include that early involvement of contractor has a positive effect on the project performance by shortening the infrastructure construction period and that early involvement of railway operator has a positive effect on the project performance by improving the effectiveness of railway infrastructure. Four requirements for the success of early stakeholder involvement are addressed. Conclusions: This study suggests that early stakeholder involvement shortens the construction period and improves railway infrastructure effectiveness. Academic contribution is to present the framework on railway infrastructure projects as holistic interactions among stakeholders. Practical contribution is to provide railway policy makers and other business practitioners with policy guidelines to improve railway infrastructure project process and to recommend an open access to relevant data.
