  • This study is a descriptive research study to identify the knowledge and compliance of multidrug-resistant organisms of nursing students with clinical practice. Data were collected from 212 nursing students in two nursing schools in D city from 1 November 2020 to 10 March 2021. The collected data were statistically analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 25.0 program. Correlations were found between knowledge and compliance of multidrug-resistant organisms (r=.40, p<.001). Therefore, to enhance the compliance of multidrug-resistant organisms of nursing students, it is necessary to prepare detailed theoretical and practical guidelines for multidrug-resistant organisms in the curriculum and clinical practice and to increase knowledge through multidrug-resistant organisms infection control education.

The participants were 261 senior nursing students from five schools in D and W metropolitan cities. Data were collected from August 1 to 20, 2019, and analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, and multiple regression using SPSS 26.0 program. In the multiple regression analysis, age (𝛽=.13, p=.048), satisfaction of mental health nursing practicum (𝛽=.16, p=.035) were significant factors on intention of career choice toward mental nurses with 10.3% of total explanatory power. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the practice satisfaction of nursing students by improving the practice environment and clinical nursing instructors' teaching competence. In addition, an further study was proposed that can identify various variables that affect the career choice of mental health nurses by expanding the subjects.

Data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Games-Howell test, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression. Statistically, happiness showed a significantly negative correlation stress(r=-.17, p=.017) and positive correlation with social support(r=.68, p<.001). Influencing factors on happiness were social support(β=.63, p<.001) and department satisfaction(β =.30, p<.001) accounting for 49.7% of the total change. In order to improve the happiness of nursing students based on the results of this study, strategies and programs that can increase social support and department satisfaction are needed.

From March 15, 2022 to April 30, 2022, this study was conducted with 204 nursing students located in D city. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficient using SPSS 22.0. Digital literacy and self-efficacy (r=.394, p<.001), digital literacy and communication ability (r=.567, p<.001) showed a significant positive correlation. Among the sub-factors of digital literacy, all factors except compliance ability showed a significant positive correlation between self-efficacy and communication ability. Therefore, it is judged that this study will be used as basic data for digital literacy education of nursing students by identifying the digital literacy of nursing students and confirming the relationship between communication ability and self-efficacy.

Data were collected from 200 nursing students between 2 March and 30 March, 2023 from two universities in C-Do, data were analyzed with SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 23.0. In the final model, self-esteem (𝛽=.29, p=.001), empathy (𝛽=.49, p=.001), and depression (𝛽=-.21, p=.032) had a direct effect on major satisfaction. Additionally, self-esteem (𝛽=.12, p=.031) had an indirect effect on major satisfaction through depression. The explanatory power of empathy, self-esteem, and depression for major satisfaction was confirmed to be 36%. Increasing self-esteem and empathy will not only directly increase major satisfaction, but indirectly lowering depression and increasing self-esteem will also increase major satisfaction. Therefore, when developing a nursing education program that increases nursing students satisfaction with their major, it is necessary to develop cognitive behavioral strategies that can increase self-esteem and empathy and reduce depression.

  • The purpose of this study is a qualitative study to understand the meaning and essence of nursing students' non-face-to-face learning experience. It was conducted for two months from March to April 2022, targeting 12 students who participated in non-face-to-face learning, and three focus groups were formed and interviewed. Interview data were analyzed using Coaizzi's phenomenological research method. As a result of the study, 4 themes and 12 subtopics were derived. The four themes were 'freedom', 'efficiency', 'self-control', and 'lack of social skills'. Nursing students learned the meaning of non-face-to-face learning through non-face-to-face learning. Through the non-face-to-face learning experience of nursing students, the true meaning of non-face-to-face learning was analyzed and learned. The results of this study provided an understanding of the non-face-to-face learning experience of nursing students, which can be applied to the diversification of non-face-to-face education programs.
