Recently, as the education population of Korea has been rapidly declining, many changes have been taking place in the university environment. Especially, community colleges linked to local communities have responded to these crises through various educational changes, such as three-year study transfers, work-parallelism, and employee commissioned education. However, such changes in the contents of education are causing a new type of classroom allocation problem, in which it is difficult to assign the limited number of classrooms to the major courses. In this paper, we classified the constraints involved in assigning classrooms into absolute constraints and relative constraints, mathematically modeled them, and allocated the classrooms optimally through optimization software. The results were satisfactory and enabled us to obtain superior results in terms of the various performance indices (classroom utilization rate, teacher satisfaction, etc.) than when assigning classrooms in the normal way.

Software education enhances creative thinking and critical thinking for students living in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and helps them choose jobs in software-related industries. This study is an example of software education applied to the vulnerable students of the child welfare center to narrow the software gap and achieve the equity in education. This education was conducted in Unplugged activity, Entry coding, and Physical computing classes for 170 students from 20 institutions in South Chungcheong Province, North Chungcheong Province, and Daejeon city in Korea. The curriculum utilized a total of four types of student and teacher level materials, with a total of 10 hours of classes per child welfare center. In addition, the surveys of the students and institutions confirmed that this education influenced their interest in software education and their desire for continuous software education.

Development of digital media and interest in education bring big progress at digital device of education globally. UK which is advanced country of education is using digital education devices such as digital chalkboards, digital desks etc. and Japan plan digital text book's through the state. At 2011, Korea which is advanced country of internet adopted digital text book 2007 with mathematics, through science and English digital text book through the state. Korea's digital textbook is in a transition period, that needs case-study of advanced country of education for setting design guide and educational effect to Digital text book plan. All researches are based on LG europe design center at London, UK and target countries are UK and Sweden which is advanced country of education and a welfare state. Analysis by using FGI, KJ, survey of questionnaire, heuristic method, concentration observation. Through analytical researches prefer using digital text book with paper text book to using solo that can offer each advantage to user and teacher. Especially Interactive GUI design of digital text book to easy to access for teacher whom not friendly with digital device. When plan Digital text book content and design needs methodical design guide for target who students and teachers an in-depth study of the appraisal and method. The results of the research are introduce the design plan as a basic research and giving useful design plan to make digital text book and digital educational media in industrial aspect.

Due to the fourth industrial revolution, people are excessively exposed to smart devices regardless of age, and the dependence is increasing rapidly. In the same context, various problems on information ethics have emerged to infant teachers and children. Therefore, there is a need to present guidelines for infants on the correct use of smart devices. This study proposes means to promote information ethics education in infant education based on a survey on future teachers attending Department of Early Childhood Education. Also, it suggests development of various teaching materials. The main significance of the research is to provide a balanced information ethics education and to develop interactive teaching materials. It also calls for infant teachers, as wells as infants, to understand the need for information ethics education and to provide desirable media education for infants.

The objective of this study is to perform the systematic research and to develop programs for improving the teaching abilities of vocational teachers, so that they can cope with the variant educational condition in accordance with the change of paradigm. Especially vocational teachers who engage in technical education can acquire new knowledge and techniques as well as grasp the trend of the new technologies required in industrial fields. In this study preliminary research for the capabilities of vocational teachers was held and the feasibility was investigated. Upon these investigations the essential elements for the improvement of vocational teachers' capabilities were derived. These will be used as preliminary data for operating curricula.

This paper proposes a new direction of technical highschool in Korea and presents a network model for technical highschool. As a distributed intelligent portal, the network model connects to anywhere and consists of simulated practical exercise in a school's self portal intranet. A title of the simulated practice contents developed in a school would be posted on any open site connected to the network model so that anyone who want to use it in his/her practice class could download to his/her intranet portal site. This mechanism works in two good ways. One is a wide area networkness and another is an easy utilization of broad band width since teacher could use the contents in his/her school's own intranet band width. The paper also emphasize that teachers and educators should make an effort to develop good quality meta-contents.

This research aims to develop the instrument of feasible and reliable digital-age literacy to be used in the learning process. This needs to be done due to a different region, tribe, and gender involved in this research. The digital-age literacy developed in this research consisting of 8 constructs, including 1) basic literacy, 2) scientific skill, 3) economy skill, 4) information skill, 5) technology skill, 6) visual skill, 7) various cultures skill, and 8) global awareness. As many as 650 respondents were chosen through stratified and random sampling in this survey. Those respondents were students at Universitas Terbuka based on gender and Ethnicity comparison. To see the internal consistency, the data were then analyzed using SPSS 23.00 version for Windows. It was obtained that all questionnaire constructs were valid and reliable, proven by obtaining a high mean reliability value of Cronbach Alpha (0.816 > 0.6), in which each item had a high value (0.778-0.841). Therefore, the number obtained the results proved that this research had produced a quality instrument that can be used to evaluate the students' mastery of the digital-age literacy of the learning process in Universitas Terbukain Asia, especially in Indonesia.

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) is one of several activators that drives the economy of Indonesia because SMEs provide jobs, increase Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and assure the delivery of products and services. However, Indonesian SMEs are not very competitive in the industrial world, and one of the causes is the low quality of products that undermine customer satisfaction. There are several factors presumed as influencing customer satisfaction, which among others include product knowledge, service quality, and competitive advantage. The objective of this research is to reveal the contribution of product knowledge and service quality to customer satisfaction with competitive advantage as the mediation variable. This research used a quantitative approach. The causal relationship across variables was examined with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The sample of this research involved 140 respondents. Data was collected through a questionnaire and the items in the questionnaire were processed with a software called SmartPLS version 3.3.2. Results of this research indicate (1) product knowledge and service quality can increase competitive advantage and customer satisfaction in East Java SMEs; (2) competitive advantage can act as a mediator in the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction (3) product knowledge can increase customer satisfaction but the increase is not significant statistically.

We analyze the perceptions and requirements of early childhood teachers for artificial intelligence(AI) education to develop an AI education program for 5-year-olds. As for the research methodology, we conducted a survey and an in-depth interview to extract the AI educational elements centering on the analysis stage, the first stage of the ADDIE model. The research result is that first, it is necessary to design a curriculum that combines the contents of early childhood education and AI education to be naturally accepted as AI education for 5-year-olds. Second, an evaluation tool for AI education that can showcase the teacher's reflection should be developed systematically. Third, it is necessary to support a play-centered AI education support and environment for early childhood teachers. Lastly, it is essential to establish a system that can be continuously operated in the field of early childhood education in consideration of AI education in the non-curricular curriculum. It is expected that in the future, a play-oriented AI education program for 5-year-olds will be developed to spread awareness of AI education for infants and present an AI education approach for each age and stage of learners.

The purpose of the present study was to verify the relationship between the nursing teachers' perception of infant rights and infant care service. The scale for infant rights consisted of 40 items based on the U.N. convention on the rights of the child and infant care service was measured with 40 items regarding respect of daily life, respect of autonomy, respect of opinion, respect of individualism, and provision of information. The study participants were 489 nursing teachers working at child care centers. According to the nursing teachers' perception of infant rights, the right of survival was highest, followed by the right of protection, the right of development, and the right of participation. The main study results showed that the rights of development and participation were meaningful in predicting various infant care services, but the right of survival was not. This study implies that the difference of nursing teachers' perception on the various types of different infant rights can affect various infant care services.
