  • Korean industries have been tend to depending upon historical information to control risk. The other hand, foreign industries have been identify risk factors using system safety techniques to predict future risk. One agency or person could not solve the problems of total safety system for improving productivity. In order to solve those problems, the production-safety group is necessary, and safety control system must be adapted by fitting to the production flow. This paper is present the methodology of driving occupational safety programs to increase productivity.

Nonlinear Backstepping Control of SynRM Drive Systems Using Reformed Recurrent Hermite Polynomial Neural Networks with Adaptive Law and Error Estimated Law

  • The synchronous reluctance motor (SynRM) servo-drive system has highly nonlinear uncertainties owing to a convex construction effect. It is difficult for the linear control method to achieve good performance for the SynRM drive system. The nonlinear backstepping control system using upper bound with switching function is proposed to inhibit uncertainty action for controlling the SynRM drive system. However, this method uses a large upper bound with a switching function, which results in a large chattering. In order to reduce this chattering, a nonlinear backstepping control system using an adaptive law is proposed to estimate the lumped uncertainty. Since this method uses an adaptive law, it cannot achiever satisfactory performance. Therefore, a nonlinear backstepping control system using a reformed recurrent Hermite polynomial neural network with an adaptive law and an error estimated law is proposed to estimate the lumped uncertainty and to compensate the estimated error in order to enhance the robustness of the SynRM drive system. Further, the reformed recurrent Hermite polynomial neural network with two learning rates is derived according to an increment type Lyapunov function to speed-up the parameter convergence. Finally, some experimental results and a comparative analysis are presented to verify that the proposed control system has better control performance for controlling SynRM drive systems.

  • Adaptive control system has evolved as an attempt to avoid degradation of the dynamic performance of a control system when environmental variations occurs. While the feedback control system is oriented toward the elimination of the effect of state perturbations, the adaptive control system is oriented toward the elimination of the effect of structural perturbation, upon the performances of the control system. The model reference adaptive controller is utilized in velocity loop controller for positioning and tracking is designed based on the linear decoupled dynamics.

  • In this paper, it is presented a new technique to the design and real-time implementation of fuzzy control system based-on digital signal processors in order to improve the precision and robustness for system of industrial robot. Fuzzy control has emerged as one of the most active and fruitful areas for research in the applications of fuzzy set theory, especially in the real of industrial processes. In this thesis, a self-organizing fuzzy controller for the industrial robot manipulator with a actuator located at the base is studied. A fuzzy logic composed of linguistic conditional statements is employed by defining the relations of input-output variable of the controller, In the synthesis of a FLC, one of the most difficult problems is the determination of linguistic control rules from the human operators. To overcome this difficult, SOFC is proposed for a hierarchical control structure consisting of basic level and high level that modify control rules.

  • The purpose of power system design is, in a word, to provide a good quality of electric power. The design of reliable industrial and commercial power distribution system is important because of the high costs associated with power outage. Three major factors for realization of the purpose are: (1) To hold system frequency at or very close to a specified nominal value(e.g. 60Hz) by control of frequency-effective power. (2) To maintain the correct value of interchange power between power and local generators. (3) To hold system voltage at or very close to a specified nominal value by control of voltage-reactive power. Within the past decade, numbers of industrial and commercial facilities installed with local generation, large motors or both, are increasing. This means that system stability is of concern to a growing number of industrial plant electrical engineers and consultants.

  • The smart factory has spread to small and mid-size enterprises (SMEs) under the leadership of the government. Smart factory consists of a work area, an operation management area, and an industrial control system (ICS) area. However, each site is combined with the IT system for reasons such as the convenience of work. As a result, various breaches could occur due to the weakness of the IT system. This study seeks to discover the items and vulnerabilities that SMEs who have difficulties in information security due to technology limitations, human resources, and budget should first diagnose and check. First, to compare the existing domestic and foreign smart factory vulnerability classification systems and improve the current classification system, the latest smart factory vulnerability information is collected from NVD, CISA, and OWASP. Then, significant keywords are extracted from pre-processing, co-occurrence network analysis is performed, and the relationship between each keyword and vulnerability is discovered. Finally, the improvement points of the classification system are derived by mapping it to the existing classification system. Therefore, configuration and maintenance, communication and network, and software development were the items to be diagnosed and checked first, and vulnerabilities were denial of service (DoS), lack of integrity checking for communications, inadequate authentication, privileges, and access control in software in descending order of importance.

  • This paper is concerned with developing flow control method for a dynamic multistage manufacturing system with interstage buffers and unreliable machines. For the effective control of proposed manufacturing system, the three-level hierarchical scheme is introduced. At the top level, we collect the system data and then, design the buffer sizes and hedging points. Short-term production rates are calculated at the middle level. At the bottom level, actual dispatching times are determined by Clear the Largest Buffer Level rule. The control method utilizes the material and the space in the buffers to alleviate the propagation of a failure to other machines in the system and keeps the production close to demand. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the mathematical control method developed and implemented in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

  • In this paper, We proposed remote dimming control system for Light Emitting Diode(LED) street light using Power Line Communication(PLC). LED will be used widly by indoor or outdoor lighting because of semi-permanent life and environment restriction. For energy saving of street light, the dimming control system is very necessary and the PLC is a very efficient technique. Thus, in this paper we proposed the remote dimming control system for LED street light using PLC. A performance of the proposed system was validated by experimental results.

  • A distributed control system is designed and imp, fomented to control various pert pherals of a playback-type industrial robot :or synchronized work motion. The distn buted control system conslists of a 16- bit Mini-computer and several 8bit Micro-computers. In the paper, the struttuie of the control system, the software requirements for system operation as well as the hierarchical computer network for interfacing module computers and the Mini - computer are briefly described. and practical difficulties including including interfacing problem ate discussed.
