The blocking channel to reduce the performance decrease using the low correlation with cyclic delay scheme in LED-ID system (LED-ID 시스템에서 채널 차단에 따른 성능 열화를 줄이기 위한 저 상관 순환 지연 기법)

  • We proposed the blocking channel to reduce the performance decrease using the low correlation with cyclic delay scheme in LED-ID system. LED-ID is based on the visible light to transmit the data. However, It is occurred the block channel by structure or environment of indoor for light of straightness. LED-ID system is degraded the performance by the block channel as loss of data, and burst error. To solve the block channel, the proposed system is overcome the burst error by low correlation among data, which is able to obtain the maximize time diversity gain to improve the performance of BER by cyclic delay scheme. The BER performance is evaluated by computer simulation according to channel parameter. The simulation results shows that proposed system gives much better performance than conventional system and constant cyclic delay scheme system.

Studies on Effects of Interior Plantscaping as Related to the Air Ions (공기이온으로 본 실내녹화 효과에 관한 연구)

  • This study was carried out in order to investigate of effects of environmental conditions which influence negative ions development. Negative ions are nature' most powerful air-cleaning agents, are created by nature, and found at their most optimal levels where the air is most pure and healthy. Negative ions are regarded as one of the important factors which indicate the quality of the air. Therefore, the focus of this study was to clear relationship among negative ions development induced by plant cultivar and environmental conditions such as air temperature, light intensity and relative humidity. As the results of this study, it was found that negative ions development was promoted during the period with plants compared to the period without plants. In Particular, negative ions development was high under air temperature $20^{\circ}C$, relative humidity 90% and dark condition. Temperature and humidity factors on this experiment was strongly affected on negative ions development, but light intensity had almost slight effect. It was shown that these results can contribute to the application of environmental control techniques to negative ions. Among plant cultivar of Spathiphyllum spp. Mentha spicata, and Cupressu arizonica, Mentha spicata was higher negative ions than the other plants, and also the leaves were higher than the stems and roots. The effect of plants on the perception of the inte끼r air quality may, therefore, be one explanation of this results about negative ions. on the other hand, it seems that a green indoor environment might be an increase in general well-being due to the plants.

Enhancement of Sleep Environment Using Sensor (센서를 이용한 수면환경 개선)

  • In this paper, gather the sleep environment data of bedroom to sleeping and analyze the relationship between the obtained conditional data and the sleep. Based on this, system provide the optimal sleep environment of individual person by extracting the simulation model. The experiments of system was using H-MOTE2420 sensor composed of temperature/humidity sensor and ambient light sensors. We use difference image method in motion extraction from video for extraction of tossing and turning. In addition, it was entered such as ratio of fatigue, ratio of drinking, ratio of empty stomach as the information of weight can affect to sleep. Resultingly of experience, we can extract the optimal sleep environment. From now on, we will try to enhance to help to lead more pleasant daily life providing proper indoor environment changes depending on the situation even a partial of organic living environments such as eating and work as well as special sleep circumstances.

  • Split digital printing into interior and outdoors on present advertisement. When is printing machine for interior mainly, use ink of water-based type. Equipment of this type embodies high resolution, but ink special quality light stability is weak. Also, when is printing machine for outdoors, printing machines of solvent or UV type are used because of water resistance and light stability. This printing machines hard to embody ink special quality high resolution mainly. And because outside is far visibility range, is uncommon in case high resolution requires embodiment. Therefore, high resolution of inside is water-based type considering this item and outside printing machine of low resolution solvent type mainly announce. Also, divide into eco-friendly latex ink type that is announced to water-based, solvent, UV according to ink type and the latest market using in occasion of digital printing machine used as advertisement industry. Color management that is been consistent of original image has a lot of difficulties by using substrate that is also various to digital printing machine for such various advertisement. But, consumers is rising realization about color or desire about quality improvement of color gradually in interior outside advertisement market. So, require solution method. Therefore, in this paper, eco-friendly ink use applied device calibration through linearization in done latex digital printing machine to basis. And studied right color management plan of digital printing for interior outside advertisement through three steps such as G7 calibration application and ICC profile application.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a lighting apparatus of the illuminance and color temperature to maximize the ability of the optimal combination of light sources that can be controlled efficiently control device. Finding people comfortable feeling for indoor lighting that can be used in a variety of color temperature illumination area by combining light sensitivity can be realized. Lighting apparatus for fluorescent lamps with different color temperature of 2000K and 8000K, and by varying the quantity of each of the fluorescent lamps, the illuminance of lighting equipment and color temperature through optical simulations were evaluated. By infrared remote control receiver, divided into 5 types of relaxation, conversation, meeting, hospitality, arts and the lighting environment you want to transfer the PC0 ~ PC4 through the parallel port on the mode selected by the user at the receiving end the DC voltage output. Control of Low-Level Dimethyl Sulfide and Dimethyl Disulfide by Applying Element-Doped Photocatalysts (원소-도핑 광촉매를 활용한 저농도 황화 이메틸 및 이황화 이메틸의 제어)

  • This study evaluated the applicability of visible-light-driven N- and S-doped titanium dioxide($TiO_2$) for the control of low-level dimethyl sulfide(DMS) and dimethyl disulfide(DMDS). In addition, a photocatalytic unit(PU)-adsorption hybrid was evaluated in order to examine the removal of DMS and DMDS which exited the PU and a gaseous photocatalytic byproduct($SO_2$) which was generated during the photocatalytic processes. Fourier-Tranform-Infrared(FTIR) spectrum exhibited different surface characteristics among the three-types of catalysts. For the N- and S-doped $TiO_2$ powders, a shift of the absorbance spectrum towards the visible-light region was observed. The absorption edge for both the N- and S-doped $TiO_2$ was shifted to $\lambda$ 720 nm. The N-doped $TiO_2$ was superior to the S-doped $TiO_2$ in regards to DMS degradation. Under low input concentration(IC) conditions(0.039 and 0.027 ppm for DMS and DMDS, respectively), the N-doped $TiO_2$ revealed a high DMS removal efficiency(above 95%), but a gradual decreasing removal efficiency under high IC conditions(7.8 and 5.4 ppm for DMS and DMDS, respectively). Although the hybrid system exhibited a superior characteristic to PU alone regarding the removal efficiencies of both DMS and DMDS, this capability decreased during the course of a photocatalytic process under the high IC conditions. The present study identified the generation of sulfate ion on the catalyst surface and sulfur dioxide(maximum concentrations of 0.0019 and 0.0074 ppm for the photocatalytic processes of DMS and DMDS, respectively) in effluent gas of PU. However, this generation of $TiO_2$ would be an insignificant addition to indoor air quality levels.

An Enhanced MAC Protocol Based on FDD for Reducing The Delay in Visible LAN Systems (가시광 무선 랜 시스템에서 통신지연 감소를 위한 FDD 기반의 개선된 MAC 프로토콜)

  • The visible light communication takes advantages of LED and PD for communication and is considered as a next generation wireless communication technology. It can support variety indoor applications. Especially, Visible LAN service has drawn much attention due to high data rate and no interference with existing WPAN system as well as high efficiency in illumination. However, existing MAC protocol occurs a high communication delay due to uplink collision and backoff time. In this paper, to reduce packet delay, we propose an enhanced MAC protocol based on FDD where the time difference between uplink frame and downlink frame transmission is utilized. Through computer simulations, we verified that the proposed MAC protocol outperforms the existing MAC protocol in terms of average packet delay.

The Effect of Landscape Lighting in Pedestrian Street on Perception of Nightscape (상업지역 보행가로 내 조명이 야간경관 인식에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship between physical characteristics and general people's perception. In this study, the physical quantities of artificial lighting were measured from the visual point of the pedestrian and general public perception including preference and satisfaction was examined. As a result of this study, the total luminance and mean luminance had different value in each site. However, there were no significant differences in area and number of light source between sites. The effects of these factors are affected by indoor lighting. In the group of respondents, 10s people, male, students, meeting, 1~2 times a month and 18:00~20:00 had higher satisfaction compared to other groups respectively. A total luminance and mean luminance gave effect on the satisfaction of physical quantities of artificial lighting and the satisfaction on night landscape. With increase in total luminance and mean luminance, the satisfaction was lowered. It is necessary to reflect these factors on the future policies of nightscape.

  • This study was performed to study the photocatalyst for controlling the pollutant such as CO, C2H5OH and H2S by the UV light. This was shown in a catalyst having the same volume and the same surface area, that the structure in which the UV light to reach the interior structure exhibits more excellent activity. However, the activity of this activity of this photocatalyst removal of CO was very low. This problem can be solved by performing a reduction process by the addition of the precious metal series of Pt. Particularly, the amount of chemical species Pt0 incerased in the surface of Pt/TiO2 photocatalyst through the reduction process, which make the reaction activity of photocatalyst excellent to the removal of the CO.

  • In this paper, we constructed using a Cortex M3 microcontroller developed by ARM Inc. as a way to control the LED light more efficiently. And Using the short-range wireless communication by the Bluetooth communication method applied to control the LED light was configured to wirelessly control the wireless circuits. In this paper, users can easily download and easy to wirelessly control the LED lighting control circuit to design an Android application from Android-based smartphone so that you can control with your smartphone to have anyone to control the LED lighting control circuit wirelessly. If the LED lights radio control circuit is configured with the Cortex M3 in this paper is applicable to both indoor and outdoor and eco-friendly technology, is using LED driver to enhance the efficiency of the LED becomes stable voltage supply is made, the brightness of LED lighting control.
