현풍군 근대 농가(農家)의 건축적 변용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Architectural Change of Traditional Farmhouse in Hyounpong Province)

  • Residential architecture was a lot more changed due to adopting modern residential type since 1960s. But people in farm houses are still living in a space of their past life causing a discrepancy. For this reason, the paper will identify the changed use for farm houses focusing on their plane views, and reason for the changed use as well. The result of this paper is expected to play a role for practical data to reasonably change and re-model farm houses located in back of cities such as Hyunpoong area. Targeted area for this paper, in order to survey change in residential environment due to industrialization and modernization, has narrowed down to 42 farm houses which are located Yuga-Myun, Hyunpoong-Gun, Dalsung-Gun where tradition and modern characteristics are harmonized being built before 1960s Researching relied on both documentary records and survey on the site, and survey on documentary records was performed in a way that preceding research for changed use of residential area was to be compared with people's farm houses in Kyeongsang-Do area, and survey on the site was carried out by photographing and land surveying and interview and analysis for them, and finally we acquired the result by analyzing use of interior for houses and plane view and relations between culture and social environment. From the result of this paper, there was a trend that farm houses had been improved function of a specific space by enlarging space and enlarged construction for inner rooms. And among spaces, kitchen and bath room was mostly enlarged its left side, and inner room had mostly enlarged its rear side, and kitchen was frequently enlarged in its side space. These kinds of variation in space is believed to be result of change of life style and house facilities

Theoretical axial wall angulation for rotational resistance form in an experimental-fixed partial denture

  • PURPOSE. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of long base lengths of a fixed partial denture (FPD) to rotational resistance with variation of vertical wall angulation. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Trigonometric calculations were done to determine the maximum wall angle needed to resist rotational displacement of an experimental-FPD model in 2-dimensional plane. The maximum wall angle calculation determines the greatest taper that resists rotation. Two different axes of rotation were used to test this model with five vertical abutment heights of 3-, 3.5-, 4-, 4.5-, and 5-mm. The two rotational axes were located on the mesial-side of the anterior abutment and the distal-side of the posterior abutment. Rotation of the FPD around the anterior axis was counter-clockwise, Posterior-Anterior (P-A) and clockwise, Anterior-Posterior (A-P) around the distal axis in the sagittal plane. RESULTS. Low levels of vertical wall taper, ${\leq}10-degrees$, were needed to resist rotational displacement in all wall height categories; 2-to-6-degrees is generally considered ideal, with 7-to-10-degrees as favorable to the long axis of the abutment. Rotation around both axes demonstrated that two axial walls of the FPD resisted rotational displacement in each direction. In addition, uneven abutment height combinations required the lowest wall angulations to achieve resistance in this study. CONCLUSION. The vertical height and angulation of FPD abutments, two rotational axes, and the long base lengths all play a role in FPD resistance form.

역진자형 자주로보트의 2차원 평면에서 궤도주행제어에 관한 연구 (Trajectory Tracking Control of the Wheeled Inverse Pendulum Type Self - Contained Mobile Robot in Two Dimensional Plane)

  • In this paper, we discuss on the control algorithm to make the wheeled inverse pendulum type mobile robot move in two dimensional plane. The robot considered in this paper has two independently driven wheels in same axel which suport and move it-self, and is assumed to have the fyro type sensor to know the inclination algle of the body and rotary encoders to know wheel's rotation angular velocity. The control algorithm is divided into three parts. The first part is for the posture and velocity control for forward-backward direction, the second is the steering control, and the last part is for the control of total system to track the given trajectory. We handle the running velocity control of the robot as part of the posture control to keep the balance because the posture relates deeply with the velocity and can be controlled by the velocities of the wheels. The control problem is analyzed as the tracking control, and the controller is realized with the state feedback and feed-forward of the reference velocity. Constructing the control system which contained one intergrator in forward path, we also realized the control system without observer for the estimation of the accumulated errors in the inclination angle of the body. To prevent the robot from being unstable state by sudden variation of the reference velocity when it starts and stops, or changes velocity, the reference velocity of which acceleration is slowly changing, is ordered to the robot. To control its steering, we give the different reference velocities for both wheels which are calculated from the desired angular velocity of the body. Finally, we presents the experimental results of the experimental robot Yamabico Kurara in which the proposed control algorithm had been implemented.

A four variable trigonometric integral plate theory for hygro-thermo-mechanical bending analysis of AFG ceramic-metal plates resting on a two-parameter elastic foundation

  • In this research, a simple four-variable trigonometric integral shear deformation model is proposed for the static behavior of advanced functionally graded (AFG) ceramic-metal plates supported by a two-parameter elastic foundation and subjected to a nonlinear hygro-thermo-mechanical load. The elastic properties, including both the thermal expansion and moisture coefficients of the plate, are also supposed to be varied within thickness direction by following a power law distribution in terms of volume fractions of the components of the material. The interest of the current theory is seen in its kinematics that use only four independent unknowns, while first-order plate theory and other higher-order plate theories require at least five unknowns. The "in-plane displacement field" of the proposed theory utilizes cosine functions in terms of thickness coordinates to calculate out-of-plane shear deformations. The vertical displacement includes flexural and shear components. The elastic foundation is introduced in mathematical modeling as a two-parameter Winkler-Pasternak foundation. The virtual displacement principle is applied to obtain the basic equations and a Navier solution technique is used to determine an analytical solution. The numerical results predicted by the proposed formulation are compared with results already published in the literature to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed theory. The influences of "moisture concentration", temperature, stiffness of foundation, shear deformation, geometric ratios and volume fraction variation on the mechanical behavior of AFG plates are examined and discussed in detail.

중첩모델을 이용한 조명용 LED 렌즈설계 및 분석 (The design and the analysis of a LED illumination lens using the overlapped model)

  • 본 연구는 균일한 조명을 얻기 위해 중첩 조명 모델(overlapped illumination model)을 사용하여 자유 형상 렌즈(freeform lens)를 제작하였으며, 제작한 LED 렌즈들의 특성을 비교 분석하였다. 제작한 렌즈는 LED 광원의 위치변화, 두께 및 기울임을 이용해 성능을 평가하였다. 아울러 조명영역은 평균 조도 (average illuminance)와 조도 균일도 (illuminance uniformity) 변화 값으로 측정하였다. 광도 분포의 Z축 방향변화에 대해서는 중첩 모델과 발산 모델이 대체로 비슷한 공차 특성을 보였으나, 렌즈두께 변화에 대해서는 중첩모델이 발산모델에 비해 조도 균일도 공차 특성은 현저히 개선됨을 확인하였다. 또한, 발산 조명 모델로 설계된 렌즈가 전반적으로 좋은 성능을 나타냈으나, LED 방출에 대한 성능은 중첩 모델에서 그 편차의 폭이 상대적으로 적게 나타났다.

초음파를 이용한 입자강화 금속복합재료의 계면특성에 관한 이론적 연구 (A Theoretical Study on Interface Characteristics of SiC Particulate Reinforced Metal Matrix Composite Using Ultrasonics)

  • 초음파법은 종래의 금속재료는 물론 최근의 금속 복합재료등과 같은 신소재의 재료특성을 비파괴적으로 평가할 수 있는 일반적인 방법이다. 그러나 이와같은 재료들의 비파괴 특성 평가를 위해 초음파법을 적용시킬 경우 무엇보다도 재료 내부를 전파하는 탄성파의 전파특성에 대한 물리적 현상에 대한 이해가 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 금속 복합재료의 제조공정에서 일반적으로 많이 발생되는 기지재와 강화재 사이의 계면 문제 및 기지재에 분포하는 강화재의 체적함유율의 변화등에 의한 유효 평면파의 다중 산란 특성을 SiC 입자강화 6061 알루미늄 복합재료에 대해 Lax의 준 결정 근사(quasi-crystalline approximation) 이론 및 소감정리 (extinction theorem)를 기초로 하여 이론적으로 해석하였다. 그 결과 SiC 입자 강화재의 체적 함유율의 변화에 대한 유효 평면파의 위상속도 및 감쇠의 주파수 의존 특성과 금속복합재료에 있어서의 기지재와 강화재 사이의 계면층의 탄성특성에 대한 위상속도의 변화 특성이 명확하게 규명되었다.

접지된 2중 유전체 사이의 저항 띠 격자 구조에 의한 E-분극 전자파 산란 해석 (Analysis of E-polarized Plane Wave Scattering by a Tapered Resistive Strip Grating in a Grounded Double Dielectric Layer)

  • 본 논문은 접지된 2중의 유전체 평면 사이에 변화하는 저항율을 갖는 저항 띠 격자 구조로 임의의 각도로 입사되는 E-분극 전자파 산란 문제를 모멘트 법으로 해석하였다. E-분극 산란에서는 저항 띠의 모서리 양끝에서 유도되는 전류 밀도가 매우 높을 것으로 예측되므로, 이 특성과 일치하는 기저 함수를 직교 다항식 일종인 2종 Chebyshev 다항식의 급수로 전개하여 수치 해석하였다. 산란 전자계는 주기적인 구조에 대응시킬 수 있는 Floquet 모드 함수의 급수로 전개하였고, 미지의 계수를 구하기 위하여 경계 조건을 적용하였다 또한, Fourier-Galerkin 모멘트 법을 적용함으로써 접지된 2중의 유전체 사이에 다양한 저항율을 갖는 저항 띠에 대해 기하광학적인 정규화 된 반사 전력에 관한 스트립 폭과 주기, 입사각의 영향 등을 수치 해석하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 수치계산을 통해 진행하는 방향에 수직으로 일정한 압력구배를 받는 2차원 난류 자유제트의 발달을 고려해 보고자 한다.속도장을 구한 후에는 제 트의 온도가 주위온도 보다 높을 경우와 또 제트를 사이에 둔 양쪽 유체에 온도차가 있을때의 열확산 특성도 함께 알아보려는 것이다. 수직 방향으로 압력구배가 있는 유동장은 최근 활발히 연구가 진행되는 분야인 제트축에 수직방향으로 주위유동이 있 는 경우와 흡사하며 제트를 통한 열확산현상은 air curtain등 실제 응용도가 큼에도 불구하고 문헌에 보고된 것이 별로 없는 것으로 보여진다.
