커튼월 유리의 열파손에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Thermal Breakage in Curtain Wall Glazing)

  • In recent years, the use of glass applied to curtain wall as a building facade material has increased in our nation. However, the non-tempered curved double glass is very easy to broke because it is difficult to guarantee the quality in process of making it into double glazing. So, it is more vulnerable to thermal breakage than tempered double glass. In this paper, surface temperature difference on curved double glazing was compared to that of heat strengthened glass and flat glass by conducting thermal breakage experiments. As a result, flat single glass was broken at temperature difference of 100~140 degrees but curved double glazing was broken at that of 40~60 degrees. Therefore, it was concluded that curved double glazing is more vulnerable than flat double glazing to thermal breakage, and it should be considered the possibility of thermal breakage when curtain wall glazing is applied as a building facade material.

  • The application of photovoltaics into building as integrated building components has been paid more attention worldwide. Photovoltaics or solar electric modules are solid state devices, directly converting solar radiation into electricity; the process does not require fuel and any moving parts, and produce no pollutants. And the prefab building method is very effective because the pre- manufactured building components is simply assembled to making up buildings in the construction fields especially the sandwich panel. Architecture considerations for the integration of PV module to building envelope such as building structure, construction type, safety, regulation, maintenance etc. have been carefully refelected from the early stage of BIPV module design. Trial product of BIPV module are manufactured and sample construction details for demonstration building are purposed. Therefore, this paper intends to advanced its practical use by proposing how to get integrated PV system which can be applied to prefab building material, and how to apply it.

DR 기반의 건물 공조 부하관리 알고리즘 (Building AHU Load Control Algorithm based on Demand Response)

  • This paper presents an advanced energy saving algorithm in building. It is important to aggregate a various demand side resource which is controllable on demand response environment. Previous demand side algorithm for building is restricted on peak power. In this paper, we suggest duty cycle algorithm for AHU on demand response to reduce the quantity of building power consumption. The test results show that the proposed algorithm is very effective.

This paper deal with building-integrated wind turbine design. It thus contains two topics: wind energy and building design.   • The education of building services field at university is not enough, although the field has become to be very important in architectural engineering. This lack of education is one of the reason that the level of domestic building services field is lower than that in developed countries. Present conditions of related laws, fields of work after graduation and education at university in building services field have been studied, and education conditions have been investigated divided into four-year architectural engineering course and five-year architecture course. Though building services field has become more important at university education, the number of credits and professor of the field is still small than other fields of architectural engineering. More practical curriculums are necessary to meet the expectation of companies, and it will be one of the method to meet it that criteria of curriculum constitution is according to ABEEK(Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea) in more architectural engineering department.

  • It is attempted that the standardization of the construction, globalization of the engineering construction and an information oriented construction spread by setting a goal of the advanced construction industry and productivity increase of human resources within the country. Hence, it has been brought in the information oriented construction of BIM based technology for the field of construction and equipment of Korea. The current study that examines the possibility of application of 3D ; that is BIM based programs of building equipment, and make better the problems of 3D building equipment system through the Pilot Test, indicates the way of growth development about the construction of building equipment process system.

초고층 건축공사의 양중계획 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Hoisting Planning System in Highrise Building Construction)

  • A systematic hoisting planning for tower crane is the most important elements in highrise building construction. However without sufficient data, systematic approach, it is not with ease to produce an appropriate planning at the rite. Therefore, this research aims at developing a systematic hoisting planning system in visual graphic with systematic procedure. The result of this research is that developed system on hoisting load calculation, numbers and specification of tower cranes are graphically visualized easily at the site. The study of applying this system to real project proves that it presents a sufficient capability as a useful tool in the hoisting planning of highrise building projects.

프뢰벨 은물의 형식범주에 나타난 건축공간관계 및 형태구축에 관한 연구 (A study on the spatial relations and shape rules in architecture shown the Froebel's categories of building gifts)

  • This study was performed to construct the spatial systems and shape grammars in architecture based on Froebel's educational idea and building gifts. Especially, it studies on the geometrical principles of Froebel's building gifts and it's types, and then illustrates applied examples about design vocabularies, spatial relations and shape rules of the spatial systems and shape grammars in architecture. The conclusions of this study that starts these purpose are as follows. First, Froebel's educational theory is based on principles and rules which are perceived through the observation of nature, and Froebel's kindergarten method consists of geometrical building gifts and categories of geometrical forms. Second, the characteristics of Froebel's building gifts are mathematical size, proportion, symmetry and the rules of spatial relation. Third, the development to the construction of spatial systems and shape grammars in architecture focus on the vocabularies of architectural elements, and Froebel's building gifts are used for illustration of examples in these formula.

재료의 경년상태를 고려한 PSC격납건물의 극한내압능력 평가 (Evaluation of Ultimate Pressure Capacity of Prestressed Concrete Containment Building Considering Aging of Materials)

  • The purpose of this study is to predict long-term structural safety on the Yonggwang Unit 3 prestressed concrete containment building. The aging-related degradations of its main structural materials are investigated and the effects of the property variation of time-dependent materials on the structural behavior of containment building are also assessed through the analysis on the ultimate pressure capacity. The nonlinear finite element analyses for both the design criteria condition a the present aging condition are conducted to assess the present structural capacity of the containment building As a result, it is verified that the structural capacity of the Yonggwang Unit 3 containment building under the present aging condition is judged to be still rugged. n addition, the sensitivity of the ultimate pressrue capacity of containment building according to th degradation levels of the structural materials are assessed. Finally, it is showed that the sensitivity levels are in the order of the tendon, rebar and concrete in case of individual material degradations, and the tendon-rebar, tendon-concrete and rebar-concrete in case of coupled material degradations.

  • Recently, amount of High-Rise Mixed-use Building is Increasing based on Preference of comfortable residence and good view. Government policies were turned to prefer about High-Rise Mixed-use Building because of decreased real estate Condition. But these changes have revealed that it has many maintenance problems for example- efficiency, economic, environmental problems. This paper suggests that the Database System based on various alternatives and real case. And it will be a tool in the scientific decision and value analysis from the facility management to make optimized decision.
