Due to the development of technology and medical care following the 4th industrial revolution, the medical paradigm is shifting towards patient-centered medical services. Based on the development of smart home technology, the residential environment is changing into a residential space that cares for and heals the lifestyles and the healthcare of families. As lifestyle changes, the concept of supporting smart home care based on the residential environment is making it possible to build a smart home IoT service design with enhanced accessibility and convenience for medical appointments and well-being lifestyle care. This paper is a study on user-centered health care smart home IoT service design suitable for family members based on the health care, beauty care, exercise care, and customized diet care beyond the conventional concept of health care monitoring. Based on the analysis, this paper proposes a personal care coordinate smart home service design in a human-centered wellness clinic care smart home service design environment. Human-centered wellness clinic smart home IoT service design is meaningful in presenting a vision for research on smart home service design that links hospital-linked and care-linked service industries, which should be considered from the smart home construction planning stage.
In order to resolve the problems of traditional Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) for system integration and to establish flexible enterprise IT environments, Enterprise Service Bus(ESB) which have distributed architecture and support Service Oriented Architecture(SOA) has introduced. Particularly, JBI which developed by the Java Community Process is most widely used to implement ESB for advantages of Java technology. In ESB based on JBI, reliable message delivery is very important to ensure stability of services and systems because it is a message driven architecture. But, it is difficult to verify messages and trace messages when system fault or service error occurred because JBI specification is not enough to address them. In this paper we has proposed the Message Monitoring Framework for JBI-based ESBs which for using in monitoring messages efficiently. It provides foundations for gathering and tracing message-related information about component installation, message exchange, service deploy by using proxy-based change tracking and delegation mechanism for data processing. The proxy which used in our solutions collects data about message automatically when it changed, and the delegation mechanism provides users flexibility for data processing. Also, we describe the performance evaluation results of our solution which is acceptable. We expect to it enables users to ensure reliability and stability of the JBI-based ESB by systematic monitoring and managing messages being used to interact among components.
This study examines whether expenditures in information technology (IT) are associated with increases in the Tobin's q ratios a measure of organizational performance. It uses two groups of sample, Korean and American firms that disclose IT expenditures. For the all-firms group of each country, the association between IT expenditures and Tobin's q ratios is positive and statistically significant. But the association varies among industries. For Korean firms, IT expenditures appear to increase Tobin's q ratios for the machine and equipment manufacturing industry group (SIC3-2). IT expenditure ratio of this group as a percent of total sales is highest among the industry groups. For all service industry groups(SIC4&5), the estimated coefficient of IT expenditures is positive but statistically insignificant. For American firms IT expenditures in most of the manufacturing industry groups appear to increase only a little, if at all, for the Tobin's q ratios. But IT expenditures appear to have a greater impact on Tobin's q ratios for all service industries (SIC4-7). For three service industries tested (transportation and telecommunication- SIC4, financial- SIC6, consulting and other service industry- SIC7), the estimated coefficient of IT expenditures is positive and statistically significant. The evidence from both Korean and American firms suggests that IT expenditures in service industries provide a greater impact on an organizational performance than ones in manufacturing industry. To test whether service industries use a competitive strategy utilizing IT as a core competence, the samples ore divided into two groups, service and manufacturing industry. For Korean firms, both IT and R&D expenditures in manufacturing industry are associated with increases in Tobin's q ratios. But for service industry, the estimated coefficient of only IT expenditure is positive. For American firms, the estimated coefficients of both IT and advertising and R&D (ARD) expenditures in manufacturing industry are positive but the coefficient of only ARD is statistically significant. For service industry, the estimated coefficient of only IT expenditure is positive and statistically significant. The evidence may suggest that manufacturing industry uses both R&D and IT strategies to increase a competitive advantage but uses R&D strategy as a core competence. However, service industry uses IT strategy as a core competence to increase a competitive advatage.

The purpose of this study utilizes the service design methodology centered on the lives and experiences of rural residents, who are the main beneficiaries of the service, to derive specific problems and needs, and to propose a service improvement plan suitable for the rural residential environment. The study selected Dosan 2-ri Village, Hongseong-gun, Chungcheongnam-do as the target of the survey, used personas and Customer Journey map of service design method to derive specific core issues and insights from the village residents. By developing this, the final five service directions for 'Air care service', 'Self-driving garbage collection and treatment service', 'Emergency/disaster networking service', 'Contaminant removal service' and 'Mobility share service' were derived and presented according to each key keyword. This study is not just a study to grasp the actual conditions of the rural residential environment, but it focuses on the lives and experiences of rural residents and extracts elements that can respond to changes in the lifestyles and patterns of the residents. It can be used as a basic material for more realistic improvement of rural residential environment and service development research. Most of the existing studies on residential environments and spaces is focused on urban areas, and there is a limit to the use of rural areas in residential areas. Therefore, by making recommendations for improvement of residential environment services suitable for rural areas and by creating residential spaces and environments in rural areas in a comfortable and safe manner, it is thought that it is possible to contribute to improvement of satisfaction in rural areas and improvement of healthy housing welfare as well as to improvement of the quality of life of residents of rural areas.
This study was performed to identify effects of hospital selection factors on patient satisfaction and reuse intention. For this purpose, a survey was performed subject to outpatients and inpatients in 10 hospitals located in Busan district from March 7, 2013 to June 21, 2013 and total 447 copies were used as final study data. As results of this study, it was found that among the hospital selection factors of outpatients, internal conditions and medical service gave effects to patient satisfaction and internal conditions, service of medical staffs and medical service gave effects to reuse intention. It was found also that among the hospital selections factors of inpatients, internal conditions, service of medical staffs and medical service gave effects to patient satisfaction and external conditions, internal conditions, service of medical staffs and medical service gave effects to reuse intention. It was suggested that in the effect of patient satisfaction on reuse intention, both inpatients and outpatients gave the effect and thus higher patient satisfaction was related to higher reuse intention. Therefore, instead of hospital-centered medical treatments, hospitals should restructure its medical and service systems that are patient-centered. Also, it is necessary for the hospital managers to recognize that patient satisfaction is an important factor in increasing its profit.
The Public Service Charter is one of the administrative reform programs introduced to promote customer oriented administration. It's main purpose is to achieve citizens' confidence in the government by satisfying them with elevated quality of the public services. This study focuses on analyzing current conditions and achievements of the Public Service Charter in the Republic of Korea and proposing it's development plan. Since it was introduced to Korea in 1998, the Public Service Charter has been disseminated and contributed to the spreading of the citizens' understandings of the government's initiatives for customer satisfaction plans. Still, it has several problems as follows; A lot of public servants and citizens lack in understandings of this program. CEOs don't have enough concern in it. Evaluation is not organically connected to performance management. The correction and compensation procedure are not well operated. To solve these problems, the government needs to set up an institutional foundation establishing a legal base, uplifting CFO' concerns, and building a department with full responsibility, and to promote employees and citizens' participation through education and PR. It's also important to enhance post management by efficient evaluation and performance management, substantial correction and compensation procedure.
Cloud service has the characteristic that it must be always available and that it must be able to respond immediately to user requests. This study suggests a method for constructing a proactive and autonomous quality and performance management system to meet these characteristics of cloud services. To this end, we identify quantitative measurement factors for cloud service quality and performance management, define a structure for applying a time series framework to cloud service application quality and performance management for proactive management, and then use big data and artificial intelligence for autonomous management. The flow of data processing and the configuration and flow of big data and artificial intelligence platforms were defined to combine intelligent technologies. In addition, the effectiveness was confirmed by applying it to the cloud service quality and performance management system through a case study. Using the methodology presented in this study, it is possible to improve the service management system that has been managed artificially and retrospectively through various convergence. However, since it requires the collection, processing, and processing of various types of data, it also has limitations in that data standardization must be prioritized in each technology and industry.
This study attempts to analyze relational structures among service failure-related variables after the moderation of fairness in the beauty service industry with the following purposes: First, it aims to review and investigate service failure & service recovery strategies, non-switching intentions after recovery, revisit intention, the intent to provide word-of-mouth recommendations and previous studies on service failure and recovery in the beauty service industry. Second, it targets the analysis of the role of fairness as a variable that moderates relations between service recovery strategies and post-recovery satisfaction in the beauty service industry. For this, the following research method was used: This study has investigated the effect of service failure and its recovery strategies (behavioral recovery strategy, psychological recovery strategy, monetary recovery strategy) on customer satisfaction for beauty service users and used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) to further analyze and verify the effect of the satisfaction on post-satisfaction behavior (non-switching intention, repurchase intention and the intent to provide word-of-mouth recommendations). The SEM was divided into a measurement model and structural model to determine if the model is appropriate and estimate the parameters of the path coefficient. In addition, this study examined to see if fairness (procedural fairness, distributive fairness and interactive fairness) works as a moderating variable while the service recovery efforts affect customer satisfaction. Then, the role of service recovery strategies, targeted to satisfy the customers who were dissatisfied because of service failure, were investigated. In addition, its effect on post-satisfaction behavior was analyzed from the structural aspect, and the moderating role was examined as well. Then, the role of the service recovery strategy, which can be used to satisfy dissatisfied customers, was examined, and the effect of the satisfaction on customer behavior was analyzed from a structural perspective. In addition, the moderating role of fairness was tested. As a result, this study is significant in that it helps service providers formulate service recovery-related strategies.
As Korean food service franchise companies sought to advance into around 2,000 new foreign markets, the importance of global management was emphasized. They intensively expanded into Chinese and American markets in 2015 and these two markets account for approximately 40% of total food service franchise companies in foreign countries. Although Japan has huge franchise market, Korean food service franchise companies in Japan only account for 5% of total franchise companies in Asian countries. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between food service franchise selection factors, brand loyalty, and revisit intention of Japanese consumers using Korean food service franchise companies in Japanese food service market, and based on the analysis results, draw the implications for the expansion of Korean food service franchise companies into the Japanese market. Food service franchise selection factors is defined as service and cleanliness, taste, safety and reliability, cost and convenience, and professionalism. The study results can be summarized as follows. First, analysis was performed to identify the effects of food service franchise selection factors on the brand loyalty, it showed that five food service franchise selection factors including professionalism, service and cleanliness, cost and convenience had positive (+) effects on the brand loyalty. One of the most important factors influencing the brand loyalty is professionalism. In order to raise food service franchise's professionalism, it is necessary for the food service franchise companies to establish stronger strategies containing professional operation systems and services compared to general restaurants. Second, analysis was performed to identify the effects of food service franchise selection factors on revisit intention, five food service franchise selection factors, service and cleanliness, safety and reliability, and cost and convenience had positive (+) effects on revisit intention. One of the most important factors influencing revisit intention is safety and reliability. Thus, in order to raise safety and reliability it is important to form trust with consumers by properly utilizing systems of food hygiene and food safety accreditation.
School food service must be operated as the part of the education. But it seems that it is not to be considered as an important educational field from the perspective of educational administration. This study was conducted to suggest the effective plan to improve the quality of the school food service system. Questionaries were distributed to 51 administrators and 85 dieticians of primary schools in Incheon area from Aug 7th to Aug 31st 2000. Drawbacks of school food service system cited from the survey results were insufficient support from the authorities both in policy and in budget and shortage of specialists for food service administration. Both dieticians and administrators acknowledged that available facilities required for the school food service were insufficient. 85.9% of dietition and 51.0% of administrators thought dietition of school food service to be suitable for nutrition education. For effective nutrition education, they suggest to have teachers taking in charge of nutrition education, to have teaching system related with school food service and to develope visual auditorial teaching material. For improvement of the quality of school food service, it is necessary to acquire sufficient budget and political support from the government and to have specialists for food service administration. And regulations promoting dieticians to be teachers of nutrition education is required to be introduced in the near future.
