ISO 9001/2000 인증요인이 서비스품질과 고객만족에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of ISO 9001/2000 Certification Factors on Performance of Service Quality and Customer Satisfaction)

  • This paper first was focused on investigating the relative effect of each ISO 9001: 2000 certification factors on service quality and customer satisfaction in service industry. The empirical tests was conducted in service industry. The results are as follows. First, it shows that ISO 9001:2000 certification factors except requirements for quality management have a positive effect on service quality significantly. Second, it also indicates that service quality precedes customer satisfaction like other researches reported. Finally, different effects of ISO 9001:2000 certification factors on service quality are observed in the various industries.

  • The purpose of this study is to research and analyze the influence of ISO 9001 QMS(Quality Management System) certification on the employer's financial goal and the employee' satisfaction. In this study, we could find that ISO 9001 QMS certification influenced eight factors which contribute to employee's satisfaction, and the purpose and background of ISO 9001 QMS certification was analyzed to have a good influence on the employee's satisfaction. In the future, the implementation strategy of ISO 9001 QMS needs to be studied to make the employees satisfied more with their duties and to pursue the employer's financial goals at the same time.

KS인증과 ISO 9001인증의 통합운영에 관한 연구 (An Integrated Management System for KS and ISO 9001 Certification)

  • In spite of some similarities between KS(Korean Industrial Standards) certification audit criteria and ISO 9001 certification requirements, most of companies manage the two certification systems independently. In this study, we analyze two certification systems, find common points and propose a model or guideline of the integrated system management for small companies. This research compares KS criteria with ISO requirements in detail. A survey is carried out to check and review the situation of the manufacturers which obtain both KS and ISO 9001 certification. Survey results show that there is a small difference in certification management according to company's size, but some benefit points of the integration management regardless of company's size.

  • ISO 9001, quality management system, is widely known as advancing internal efficiency and productivity in various industry. As a result, the number of companies that have adopted ISO 9001's certification have been increasing continuously year by year since ISO 9000' family standard was published in 1987s. This fact shows that a lot of businesses are trying to get the accreditation for improving the competitiveness of quality. The purpose of this study is to present that ISO 9001's certification motives affect to the requirement's implementation and show that the execution of requirements influences on management performance in the small manufacturer. In order to carry out this research, we obtained 96 survey sheets and inspected twenty assumptions based on the reliability, validity of the questionnaires. The results of regression analysis are summarized as follows; First, the factors of certification motive influence on the requirement's implementation except resources management. Second, the two elements of ISO 9001 requirement, resources management and product realization, have an important effect on the operational performance and financial performance considerably in the companies that choose the internal motive. Finally, the two requisites of ISO 9001 requirement, resources management and measurement, analysis and improvement, affect to the operational performance and financial performance significantly in the businesses that select the external motive. Based on the results, the companies that choose the internal motive have a good performance to execute the ISO 9001 requirements. Also, to implement the requirements of ISO 9001 is helpful for the companies to produce the operational and financial performance.

  • Quality management has been recognized as an important means to secure business competitiveness for management environment changes and competitiveness reinforcement. An effort of an ISO 9001 certification has thought that it is the best way to practice quality management. This paper checks a quality management situation of manufacturing companies that acquired ISO 9001 certification. Then, this paper investigates whether quality management is actual1y contributing to production performance and proposes proper alternatives for an improvement of production performance.

Furthermore, the new version of ISO9001:2000 is being required instead of ISO9001:1994. Both CMM and ISO9001 have a common point that they pursuit quality improvement for the organizations processes and products. Therefore, it is important to understand the similarities of specific requirements between the two models in software organizations which attempt to employ both of the models. From this background, this paper compares CMM and ISO9001 by considering the versions in 1994 and 2000 of ISO9001. The results of this research are likely to help software organizations ma]fe a decision for a strategy to adopt CMM and ISO9001.

  • As more and more companies pursue ISO 9000 certification, one of the most misconceptions about ISO 9000 is that registration is necessary only for business. ISO 9000 is being driven by commercial requirements, not legal fiat. This registration can be used as evidence of compliance to the ISO 9000 to satisfy specific customer requirements. The primary objective of this research is to provide the efficient implementation process of ISO 9000 certification on the basis of total quality management concerning with ISO/CDl 9001:2000, ISO/CDl 9004:2000 and ISO/CD2 9001:2000. Based on the result of first paper in May 1999, this study has been conducted using the data collected from 312 manufacturing companies which registered ISO 9000 certification. This analysis can be applied to Korean small and medium industrial companies in establishing and maintaining the development of qualify systems. The companies should be able to benefit if they make continuous effort to improve the quality activities based on the factors suggested in this paper.

ISO 9000:2000 대응을 위한 철의장품 심사결과 분석 (The Analysis of Audit Results in Steel Outfit Industry to Comply with ISO 9000:2000)

  • The ISO 9000 family of international quality management standards were revised on 15 December 2000. The ISO 9001:2000 standard is used for certification/registration and contractual purposes by organizations seeking recognition of their quality management system(QMS). We summarize key contents changed in ISO 9000:2000 family standards. To comply with ISO 9001:2000, we analyze the current QMS for steel outfit industry, using audit results from ISO 9001:1994 for seven steel outfit firms during last three years. We investigate statistical relationships between ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 9001:1994 requirements from a three dimensional contingency table with audit results. We observe that the importance of requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 sections makes a difference between companies.

This paper evaluated operation actual conditions of "G" welfare hall which introduce and operates quality management system according to index of evaluate for society welfare hall and present improvement plan about effect and problem.
