Purpose: In this study, the Drenzer facility, which is a facility installed to prevent the spread of fire caused by fire in adjacent buildings in the fire prevention zone, was analyzed legally and technically. We confirmed the uncertainty of the Building Act and the Fire Protection Act, and suggested the revision of the necessary standards. Method: Although the Drenzer facility is a building facility, it is actually applied in the field of firefighting, so the Delphi analysis was conducted on a panel composed of architectural experts and firefighting experts in the first, second, and third rounds to find the issuses and important facility component elements. Finally, the IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) analysis was conducted to identify the importance of the elements that need to be revised. Result: Delphi analysis was carried out for experts on various components of Drenzer equipment in the first, second, and third rounds, and it was found that the survey items of the head, detector, and other facilities of the Drenzer equipment are valid items to identify problems. The IPA analysis indicated that the revision of the standards for Drencher head was necessary as a priority. Conclusion: In this study, it was possible to confirm the opinions of experts through Delphi analysis on the legal and technical problems of Drencher facilities, and it was confirmed that among the components of the Drencher facility, the revision of the head-related regulations is required as a priority.

This study uses the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) on viewing motivation for the revitalization of Korean creative musicals. The IPA is the evaluation techniques to simultaneously compare and analyze relative importance and achievement of each attribute for multi-attribute models. This analysis uses the discerning method by displaying the matrix that includes the factors about which customers care and customer satisfaction on each factor. The customer satisfaction is determined by customer expectation for each attribute and its implementation level. This study, through this method, exams the importance and satisfaction level on attributes of viewing motivations for Korean creative musicals.

In general, drivers need a self-interest information to decide their routes. So, non-governmental sectors, such as Internet Portal Company, make and provide user-oriented contents for drivers in a hurry. But, VMS which is the typical public media always provides traffic-information for drivers without weighting personal characteristics and considering transportation conditions. So in this research, we searched importance and preference of traffic-information contents as IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis)result. We can draw the conclusion that the improvement of traffic-information contents focused on users(drivers) is needed. Specially, we proposed the strategy of VMS according to traffic conditions.

Due to the increase of size and complexity of construction project, the frequency of serious accidents in construction industry has been increased. Especially, the proportion of accidents in formwork of building construction site is very high, and many previous studies have been conducted to preventing them in the viewpoint of the diverse approaches. However, their effectiveness on accidents prevention was poor, and as a result, it is limited to consider the potential risks because many workers and managers tend not to be concerned with unsafe factors in formwork. Therefore, in this study, a realistic and proactive way for analyzing these potential risks was proposed in the manner of quantitatively assessing the potentials resulted from the unsafe factors in formwork. To verify the applicability of the proposed methodology, group survey was carried out, and the results were compared with those of the traditional importance-performance analysis(hereafter IPA) technique. Through the use of the proposed methodology, unsafe factors that were not found in the IPA but have potential risk were identified. Eventually, this study is expected to contribute to the proactive prevention of construction serious disaster accidents in formwork by enabling a more efficient management.

This is a qualitative study about Google 'Nest Hub Max' that displays proactive intelligent personal assistant. Following the step of grounded theory, an in-depth interview for 6 users who had used this device for a month was taken. 186 concepts were discovered, categorized as 11 top-categories and 24 sub-categories. Paradigm diagram, considering axis-coding, was made and it have been narrowed down to 'Usage patterns' of proactive IPA, considering selective coding aspects. 'Usage patterns' were divided to passive and active user. Thus, neither passive user nor active user was satisfied about device and proactive IPA. This study is meaningful that it constructed basic data about the user experience of proactive IPA on this device. It will support the device or service that consists proactive IPA in the future.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a way of the efficient operation of university foodservice through the Importance-Performance Analysis and examine a causal relationship between selection attributes and satisfaction. A survey was carried out in class, and after excluding 12(A University) and 20(B University) unusable cases which had an unacceptable level of missing data, 108 out of 120(A University) and 104 out of 124(B University) cases were used for analysis. As for A University, IPA showed that taste, variety, food cleanliness, table cleanliness, and tableware cleanliness were included in the concentrating efforts items. As for B University, IPA showed that taste, variety, and table cleanliness were in the concentrating efforts items that university foodservice managers should improve. Also, through t-test difference analysis on selection attributes of A University and B University in the research model, this study confirmed that both A University and B University displayed positive difference in personal services. And, through regression analysis, food quality had a positive influence on satisfaction.

The purpose of this study is to propose a method to utilize Big Data Analysis to find policy issues of local governments in the reality that utilization of big data becomes increasingly important in efficient and effective policy making process. For this purpose, this study analyzed the 180,000 articles of Suwon city for the past three years and identified policy issues and evaluated policy priorities through IPA analysis. The results of this study showed that the analysis of semi-formal big data through newspaper articles is effective in deriving the differentiated policy issues of different local autonomous bodies from the main issues in the nation, In this way, the methodology of finding policy issues through the analysis of big data suggested in this study means that local governments can effectively identify policy issues and effectively identify the people. In addition, the methodology proposed in this study is expected to be applicable to the policy issues through the analysis of various semi - formal and informal big data such as online civil complaint data of the local government, resident SNS.

Modular construction, a prominent method in the evolving construction industry, necessitates robust quality control for successful implementation. This study investigates the potential of 3D scanning technology for enhancing quality control processes in modular building construction. Through an IPA analysis of major construction projects across factory production, transportation, and on-site stages, the study evaluates the current state of 3D scanning application in modular construction quality control. Results indicate a high demand for 3D scanning data across various quality control aspects. However, certain limitations in technology and practical application were identified. The findings of this research contribute to the advancement of 3D scanning technology in modular construction and inform future research on cutting-edge quality control strategies.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the service quality of special libraries using Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method. This study also applied the working year factor to IPA model for establishing more improved library service strategies. A total 127 library users who work in governmental policy or research institutions in South Korea participated in this study. This study conducted regression analysis to compare with the results of IPA. The results of survey revealed that special library users had high expectation for library services, but they perceived the performance of the library service as insufficient. Special library users assessed that the information services of libraries were well provided but required additional efforts in services related with space and provided by librarian. Interestingly, when the library services were measured by working years, special library users who have worked for more than eight years were generally satisfied with library services with no "possible overkill" services, but users with less than three years working experience particularly expressed dissatisfaction with the service provided by librarians. The results of regression analysis supported the results of IPA. Finally, this study provides several important suggestions for better special library service.

This study was designed to investigate the perception of the competencies of using Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). The subjects of the study were 318 clients and 118 consultants. Descriptive statistics, paired t-tests, and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) were conducted based on perception levels of clients and consultants to increase understanding of current situations and trends. Findings are expected to assist in planning. Regarding the perception of clients, Quadrant 2 (Concentrate Here) included consulting supervision expertise and content expertise, and Quadrant 4 (Possible Overkill) included skill expertise. Regarding the perception of consultants, Quadrant 1 (Keep Up the Good Work) included skill expertise; Quadrant 2 (Concentrate Here) included content expertise; and Quadrant 3 (Low Priority) included consulting supervision expertise. Results revealed that clients had no responses for Quadrant 1, but they offered 10 items associated with Quadrant 2, one item for Quadrant 3, and four items for Quadrant 4. Consultants responded with five items for Quadrant 1, three items for Quadrant 2, three items for Quadrant 3, and four items for Quadrant 4.
