As the creative economy is considered important recently, learner-centered IP(Intellectual Property) education has proliferated rapidly to universities, and there are greater attention and demand on IP education. On the other hand, there are lack of curriculums and an accreditation for IP education. This paper is to propose IP education module and emphasize the need of the accreditation for IP education and its authentication plan. This paper will also show the need of specialists and educational curriculum in the field of IP, the current status and the analyse of the IP education, and the trend of IP courses in intellectual-property-leading universities. It subsequently examines the domestic education accreditation system and the National Competency Standard(NCS) curriculum and suggests the IP education 8 courses model as a curriculum management model, the standard curriculum of the IP educational system, and the instructional module.

In this study, we suggest a new mechanism on the design and implementation of IP Traceback system against DDos/DRDoS by Zombie and Reflector attack based on spoofed IP packets. After analysis and comparing on the state-of-arts of several IP traceback mechanisms, we can find their own pros and cons primitives. And then we performed simulations on reflector based DRDoS network packets. In first, we suggest a NS-2 based IP traceback module and implement it for finding its real DRDoS attacker. As a results, we can find advanced new IP traceback scheme for providing enhanced proactive functionality against DRDoS attack.

Within a context of rapid technological change and shifting market conditions, the education environment requires new paradigm of education delivery. In accordance of such a technological progress, distance education system, which makes the learning take place at anytime anywhere, overcoming barriers of time, or distance, is emerging as a mainstream of education delivery replacing the convectional one way delivery system from instructor to learners. This paper aims to introduce the development principle and algorithm about Instructional System Desgin(ISD) module, a part of a total solution for distance education services. It was developed on Linux, a free Unix-type operating system. Linux supports so various network protocols, sharing the network resources in a smooth way, that it is able to integrate with other operating system very easily, especially with Windows NT or Windows 2000 servers. In terms of quality, it never falls behind the windows products which are commercially available only. It is a right operating system for the such a school environment that is usually limited in budgets. The development environment of the distance education solution to which ISD module belongs is composing of Apache server for web server, lava bean based on components for ISD module, PHP, server-side scripting language, for HTML documents and MySQL for DBMS.

Stream Control Transmission Protocol(SCTP) is a new transport protocol that is known to provide improved performance than Transmission Control Protocol(TCP) in multi-homing environment that is having two and more IP addresses. But currently single-homed computer is used primarily that is having one IP address. To identify whether mean transfer time for SCTP is faster that for TCP in single-homed environment considering packet loss, we make up real testbed regulating the bandwidth, delay time and packet loss rate on router and observe the transfer time. We write server and client applications to measure SCTP and TCP mean transfer time by C language. Analysis of these experimental results from the testbed implementation shows that mean transfer time of SCTP is not better than performance of TCP in single homed environment exceptional case. Main reasons of performance are that SCTP compared to TCP stops transmitting data by timeout and data transmission is often delayed when SACK congestion happens. The result of study shows that elaborate performance tuning is required in developing a new SCTP module or using a implemented SCTP module.

In this paper, the ALT (ALTernative) board and a NetLogo extension module are developed for the active participatory simulation (APS) learning. Through the participatory simulation with HubNet each student can attend the experiment as one of clients. Only one HubNet server, however, is able to use an external device so that the bifocal modeling based learning with multiple users is impossible. In order to overcome the drawback, and enable clients participate into the experiment and collect the experimental data and the measured data, an ATmega 32 based board and its firmware are developed. In addition, Java extension module based on TCP/IP socket interfaces is developed to exchange the data with HubNet server. Finally, we show some NetLogo program examples to use the developed hardware and software for APS and seek the way to use them for science education.

An ubiquitous sensor network (USN) system to monitor the bio information and the emergency of the elderly in the silver town is presented. The USN system consists of the sensor node platforms based on MCU of Atmage128L and RF Chip of CC2420 satisfying IEEE 802.15.4, which includes the bios sensor module such as the electrocardiogram (ECG) sensor and the temperature sensor. Additionally, when an emergency of the elderly is occurred in the silver town, the routing algorithm suitable to find and inform the location of the elderly is proposed, and the proposed routing algorithm is applied to the USN. To collect and manage the ECG data at the PC connected to the sink node, LabView software is used. The bio information and the emergency of the elderly can also be monitored at the client PC by TCP/IP networks in the USN system.
