In order to achieve a successful introduction of CALS, an enterprise model which is a concise description of what an enterprise does is required. The enterprise model mainly consists of a process model and a data model. The process model describes processes that create, change, combine, or destroy the entities within the enterprise. Several process modeling methodologies have been proposed. Each modeling methodology requires its own modeling view point, elements, and syntax. In developing a process model for CALS, these models created at different view points are required to analyze and design a system in a broad view. This paper aims at proposing an integration methodology for a process model. Specifically, IDEF0, IDEF3, and Petri Net are considered to be integrated. An IDEF0 model describing static functions of enterprise is transformed to an IDEF3 model describing behaviour of a system with additional information. Also, the IDEF3 model is transformed to a Petri Net model. These transformations will be automatically accomplished once the additional information for the transformation is provided.

It's difficult for other designer to understand easily, due to existing abstract form-generation method of digital authors like Greg Lynn and Peter D. Eisenman. This study uses IDEF${\emptyset}$ process diagram in order to remodel procedures and elements of this abstract 3d based form-generation method. IDEF${\emptyset}$ process diagram is the method operated prior to a design of digital program. For object-oriented modeling of each form-generation element technology, IDEF${\emptyset}$ process has been modeled. For this sort of IDEF${\emptyset}$ process modeling, digital architectural theory and analysis method has been generalized With them above, this study suggests the 3d-based form-generation IDEF${\emptyset}{\emptyset}$process model for developing digital tool eventually through the object-oriented components and setting up the mutual roles, relation as well. In conclusion, 3d-based form-generation IDEF${\emptyset}$process model, this study suggests, models form generation methods of existing digital authors using IDEF${\emptyset}$ process for developing digital tool in the future.

정보시스템 구축에 있어서 적절한 시스템 분석 및 설계를 위한 모델링 기법을 활용하는 것이 중요 과제이며, 이러한 시스템 모델링 분양서 구조적 방법론과 객체지향 기법이 두가지의 주요한 표준으로 이용되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 IDEF3와 UML을 이용하여 정보시스템을 구축하기 위한 시스템 분석 설계 방법론을 검토하고 실제 기업의 업무를 대상으로 모델링해 보았다. IDEF3는 비즈니스 프로세스를 분석하고자 시도된 최초의 방법이고, 업무를 체계적으로 분석할 수 있으며, 쓰여지는 기호의 간편함과 명료함 때문에 쉽게 표현할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 통합 모델링 언어로 불리는 UML은 시스템 개발 과정에 참여하는 모든 이들이 각자의 시각에서 이해할 수 있도록 각 분야의 설계도를 그릴 수 있는 표준을 제공하고, 그래픽 요소를 조합해서 다이어그램으로 나타낼 수 있는 장점이 있으며, 객체 지향 시스템 개발그룹에서 표준으로 인정받고 있는 모델링 언어이다. 본 논문에서는 신발을 수출하고 있는 중소기업의 반 정형화된 수출/무역 관리 업무 프로세스에 대하여, IDEF3와 UML을 이용하여 분석하고, 이에 따른 시스템 개발 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

A business process flow model for an intermediary type shopping mall consisting of multiple sellers has been presented in this study. Specifically, we defined 11 essential business processes of a front office customer's view point and set up detailed process flow models using IDEF3 (Integrated DEFinition). The characteristic of this study lies in providing a dynamic model rather than static models. The results may form a conceptual framework not only for shopping mall processes but for analysis and improvement toward extended electronic business systems.

A major concern in Concurrent Engineering is the control and management of workload in a period of process. As a general rule, leveling the peak of workload in a certain period is difficult because concurrent processing is comprised of various processes, including overlapping, paralleling and looping. Therefore, workload management with resource constraints is so beneficial that effective methods to analyze design process This study presents a procedure to transform the IDEF3 process model into the precedence logic network model for more useful assessment of the process. This approach is expected to facilitate resolving resource constrained scheduling problems more systematically in Concurrent Engineering environment.

The basic goal of CALS is to improve transactions and relationships among organizations through information sharing and integration. CALS is an information strategy which needs strong cooperation between organizations or between users and developers in design step. However, current design methodologies using IDEF models, that are considered to be standard for CALS system development, has some limitations. For example, it is difficult for system developers to communicate with counterparts by IDEF model since IDEF models are difficult for counterparts to understand. In this paper, we suggest a development methodology for GALS systems by complementing IDEF model with Document Trace Diagram, which we developed as a communication tool, The concept of Document Trace Diagram stems from the fact that most information exchanged within or between organizations is in the form of documents and most standard operating procedures of organizations are about processing the documents. It helps system developers identify functions and their ICOMs (Input, Control, Output, Mechanism) with ease and little communication cost. With this methodology, we have constructed the GALS prototype system for construction industry.

In this paper, we suggest the system analysis method that integrate IDEFO and IDEFIX. Based on the method, we propose the procedure which can be used to build CALS/EC system in manufacturing industry. Also, applying the procedure and method to electronic company, we construct the CALSEC prototype system. With the three types of view-point, process, information technology and standard, we proceed the implementation of CALS/EC in manufacturing industry. We divide the electronic company's process into five core process, 1)processes-product concept planning process. 2)product development process, 3)procurement process, 4)delivery/distribution process and 5)customer service process.

최근 정보화 기반의 공사관리기법은 기존의 수치적 정보관리에서 VR기반의 시각적 정보관리로 변화되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 토목공사의 기획단계, 설계단계, 시공단계에서 VR시스템을 기반으로 사용할 수 있는 기능에 대해 구현절차를 IDEF0모형으로 제시한다. 연구에서 IDEF0모형은 실제 가상건설시스템의 기능으로 토목공사의 각 단계에 적용시켜 실무활용성을 검증하는데 활용하고 있다. 제시된 기능모형에 근거하여 연구에서는 각 단계별로 VR기반 시뮬레이션 기능들을 개발하였다. 개발된 가상건설시스템은 3D객체기반으로 설계정보의 시각적인 효과를 증진시킴으로서 효율적인 설계안의 검토를 가능하게 할 수 있다.
