  • The speech includes various kinds of information : language information, speaker's information, affectivity, hygienic condition, utterance environment etc. when a person communicates with others. All technologies to utilize in real life processing this speech are called the speech technology. The speech technology contains speaker's information that among them and it includes a speech which is known as a speaker recognition. DTW(Dynamic Time Warping) is the speaker recognition technology that seeks the pattern of standard speech signal and the similarity degree in an inputted speech signal using dynamic programming. ln this study, using TMS320C32 DSP processor, we are to embody this DTW and to construct a security system.

경기지역 목장수의 위생세균학적 분포 (Bacterial Sanitation of Farm Water in Kyunggi Province)

  • Hygienic condition of farm waters has an effect on the hygiene of dairy foods. So we examined Standard Plate Count, coliform, E. coli, heat-resistant bacteria, psychrophilic bacteria, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and enterococcus for the bacterial sanitation of 78 farm waters in Kyunggi Province. Of the 78 farm waters, the average number of psychrophilic bacteria was 750 $\pm$ 170/ml, SPC 440 $\pm$ 130/ml, Pseudomonas aeruginosa 130 $\pm$ 97/100/ml, Coliform 22 $\pm$ 17/ml, E. coli 10 $\pm$ 6/100/ml, Heatresistant bacteria 5 $\pm$ 1ml, and Enterococcus 2 $\pm$ 1/100/ml. The percent of over than 1000/ml in SPC and psychrophilic bacteria of 78 farm water was 11.5% and 23.1%, respectively. The rate of over than 10/ml in coliform and heat-resistant bacteria was 12.8% and 15.4%, respectively and the rate of over than 10/100 ml in E. coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and enterococcus was 8.9%, 33.3%, and 2.6%, respectively. Pseudomonas aeruginosa was no significant between any other indicator organisms, and psychrophilic bacteria was significant with only SPC but other indicator organisms were highly significant with each other.

  • 비우식성 당 NCS(Fuc($1{\to}4$)galNAc($2{\to}6$)NeuAc)를 생산하는 미생물을 동정하고 이 미생물이 생산하는 비우식성 당의 생산조건을 최적화하기 위하여 본 연구를 수행하였다. NCS를 생산하는 균주는 형태학적, 생화학적, 화학분류학적 특성 및 16S-rRNA 염기서열 결정을 통하여 Bacillus sp. S-1013로 동정되었다. 또한, 이 균주에 의한 NCS의 최적 배지조성은 soluble starch 3.0%, dextrin 1.5%, yeast extract 0.5%, pepton 1.0%, $K_{2}HPO_4$ 0.2%였으며, 최적온도 및 pH는 각각 25와 11.0이였다. 최적배지에서 NCS 및 균체의 생산은 기본배지에 비해 각각 4.24배 및 2.67배 증가하였다.

Toothpick method(와타나베법)을 이용한 장애인 구강건강관리 효과 (Effect of the tooth pick of the disabled person oral treatment)

  • This study conducted a 'specialist tooth brushing' method against the severely disabled once every other week. The purpose of this study is to analyze and validate the effectiveness of maintaining healthy periodontal management when consistent oral hygiene lasts with minimum stimuli for 24 - months. The conclusions were as follows. Table 2 compares the difference between group 1 and 2 from the 1st to 11th management and verifies the actual difference in measurement of each index. Group 1 used a professional tooth brush while Group 2 used a general brush. There were found many significant differences in dental index. As for PHP, Oral Malodor index and gingival bleeding, it was found that one or two times of dental care can make substantial differences in dental health condition. These results show that as the number of toothbrush method has been increased, gingival bleeding and periodontal index are significantly improved, not to mention the improvement of gingivitis and periodontal disease. This is because periodontal tissue is affected by brushing method, brushing time and consistency of dental care. During the 6-month period, 20 minutes of active periodontal care was intensively conducted, and for 18-months the effect of consistent care was verified by 10-minute periodontal care once every other week. As a result of the test, it was found that there was no complete regression in the basic periodontal treatment and the periodontal health condition had been maintained for 24 months. Also this test shows that, despite of inconsistent dental hygienic care, regular plague control can prevent dental diseases and maintain the dental health. This study proved that periodontal condition can be maintained by periodontal care once every other week as the tooth brushing properly stimulates the gums with positive effect. Therefore, professional dental healthcareworkers should be designated for each facility for the disabled, and dental health of the disabled should be professionally cared on a regular basis, and consistent and repetitive management by the dental care specialist are required.

고속도로 휴게소에서 판매되는 식품의 세균학적 품질 (Bacteriological Quality of Foods on Sale at Resting Places of the Highways in Korea)

  • 1995년(4월과 5월), 1997년(5월과 7월) 및 1999년(1월)에 경부 .호남 고속도로 및 중부 . 영동 고속도로의 20개 ,휴게소의 김밥, 햄버거, 호도과자 및 자장면에 대한 계절별 위생 실태와 조리 형태에 의한 미생물적 안전성 시험을 실시한 결과 식중독균은 검출되지 않았으나 대장균과 많은 수의 대장균군 세균이 검출되어, 고속도로 휴게소에서 판매되고 있는 식품의 위생 실태가 매우 불량함을 알수 있었다. '95년 김밥 시료에서는 전 제품에서 대장균군(8.8$\times$10 4~6.6$\times$10 5 cells/g)과 대장균이 검출되었고,'95년 햄버거 또한 전 제품에서 대장균군(1.8$\times$10 2~4.7$\times$10 4 cells/g)이 검출되었다. '97년 시료에서는 김밥은 22곳 제품 중 16곳 제품에서 대장균이 양성이었고, 대장균군은 21곳 제품에서 검출되었다. '97년 햄버거는 14곳 제품 중 7곳 제품에서 1.7$\times$10 2~1.9$\times$10 7 cells/g의 대장균군이, 2곳 제품에서 대장균이 양성으로 나타나서 김밥과 햄버거의 위생 상태는 매우 불량하였다. 호도과자는 조사 대상 6곳 제품 중 대장균군과 대장균이 모두 검출되지 않아 위생 상태가 양호하였다. 반면 자장면은 6곳 제품 중 3곳 제품에서 7.1$\times$10 2~2.0$\times$10 3 cells/g수준의 대장균군이 검출되고 대장균은 검출되지 않았다. '95년과 '97년 김밥 시험 결과와 '99년 결과를 비교할 때 기온이 높은 계절의 위생 관리에 더욱 주의해야 함을 알 수 있었다. 김밥과 기타 식품의 세균학적 품질을 비교한 결과, 김밥 >햄버거 >자장면 >호도과자의 순으로 나타나 김밥과 햄버거와 같은 복합재료를 사용하는 식품의 경우에 더 많은 오염이 일어날 수 있으므로 조리 .가공 및 유통 과정의 엄격한 미생물절-안전성 관리가 요구된다.

동남아시아 전통주거 형태와 문화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Form and Culture of Traditional House in Southeast Asia)

  • Traditional pile-buildings in Southeast Asia has high utility. Their floors are lifted above the ground to stave off humidity in the house, increase the amenity and hygienic condition, fend off fierce animals or harmful animals like rat, and protect the house from being submerged in flood waters. Such traditional pile-buildings have Austronesian saddle-backed roof commonly, and are built through various techniques such as joining and mortising, without use of nails. The roof has a considerably large proportional appearance, and for this formal characteristics, the roof is symbolized as boat on occasions. The roof has dual structures or is lifted in some cases to facilitate the ventilation, and the wall is formed to maximize the ventilation. This housing types the hierarchy of foundation, housing space, and roof, which implies religious symbolism that human is above animal and God is above human. However, housing types in Southeast Asia have very different detailed form and culture, depending on the ethnic and religious characteristics. As explained above, this study examines the common aspects and diversity based on the form and culture of traditional housing of Southeast Asia and provides useful basic academic data.

온도 변화에 따른 수돗물 저장 저수조 내 잔류염소에 관한 수학적 모형 시뮬레이션 (Mathematical Model Simulations Assessing the Effects of Temperature on Residual Chlorine Concentrations in Water Storage Tanks)

  • To ensure hygienic safety of drinking water in a water storage tank, the concentrations of residual chlorine should be above a certain regulation level. In this study, we conducted model simulations to investigate the effects of temperature on residual chlorine in water storage tank conditions typically used in Seoul. For this, values of model parameters (decomposition rate constant, sorption coefficient, and evaporation mass transfer coefficient) were experimentally determined from laboratory experiments. The model simulations under continuous flow conditions showed that the residual chlorine concentrations were satisfied the water quality standard level (0.1 mg/L) at all the temperature conditions ($5^{\circ}C$, $10^{\circ}C$, $15^{\circ}C$, $20^{\circ}C$ and $25^{\circ}C$). Meanwhile, when the tanks had a no flow condition (i.e., no tap-water influent due to a sudden shut-down), the concentrations became lower than the regulatory level after certain periods. The findings from this modeling works simulating Seoul's water storage tanks suggested disappearance rate of residual chlorine could be reduced through the tanks design optimization with maintenance of low water temperature, minimization of air flow and volume, suppression of dispersion and the use of wall materials with low sorption ability.

한국농촌여성(韓國農村女性)의 초조(初潮)와 폐경(閉經)에 관(關)한 위생학적(衛生學的) 고찰(考察) (Hygienic Observations on Menarche and Menopause among Korean rural Area)

  • There are numerous reports on menarche age in korea and other countries but only few reports are available on menopausal age. This is a result of surveys on 509 women for menarche and 341 women for manopause among the rural areas of Choongnam and Kyungbuk province. For those born between 1894 and 1929. aver age ageof menarche was 16.63 years. The earliest was 13 years and latest was 22 years old. Majority (78.8%) had their menarohe at the age of between 15 and 18. It was noted that there was gradual advancement of menarche age among those born in later years than earlier. More menarche started in the months of October and April and fewest was in the month of June. Spring was the time when the largest number of women had menarche and this was followed by Autumn. Winter, and Summer. The most common menstrual cycle was 39 days type which is followed by 28 days and 26 days. The average monpausal age among rural korean women was 46.97 years. The number of years between menarche and menopause appears to be dependent upon individual physical and mental condition. socioeconomical circumstances. and also hereditary as well as ethnic differences. 87.1 % of rural korean women had menstrual ages of between 20 to 35 years according to this statistics and the average was 29.67 years.

진주 지역 딸기 주스 상점에서의 Staphylococcus aureus의 분리와 staphylococcal enterotoxin a, b, c gene 검색 (Detection of Staphylococcus aureus and Screening Staphylococcal Enterotoxin a, b, c genes in Strains Isolated from Strawberry Juice Shops in Jinju)

  • Staphylococcus aureus is one of the important pathogenic agents, which are related to the hygienic condition. This study performed for the detection of Staphylococcus aureus and screening staphylococcal enterotoxin a, b, c genes in strains isolated from the environment for production of non-pasteurized strawberry juice. A total of 44 samples were collected from utensils, machinery, employees, raw materials, and strawberry juices in 3 strawberry juice shops in Jinju, western Gyeongnam. The isolation rate of Staphylococcus aureus was 26%. Specially Staphylococcus aureus was frequently isolated from employee's hands, strawberry and strawberry juices. The sea, seb, and sec genes were also investigated by polymerase chain reaction (PCR). One hundred and 55% of each isolate had found sea gene and seb gene, respectively. However, sec gene was not detected anywhere. To prevent food-borne disease associated with juice, the accomplishment of HACCP to be more efficient and systematic is necessary.

경쟁우위를 위한 레스토랑 포지셔닝 전략에 관한 연구 - 해운대 관광 특구를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Positioning Strategy of Restaurants for Competitive Advantage : Focused on the Haeundae Special Tourism Zone in Busan)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the elements that satisfy customers in order for restaurants to survive in competition, and to examine effective positioning strategies. Since the designation of Haeundae in Busan as a Special Tourism Zone, diverse food service markets have been established and various marketing activities are anticipated accordingly. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, after the examination of the competitive relationships among restaurants, based on the image similarity data, it was found that Bennigan's, Outback Steakhouse, and T.G.I. Friday's are in close proximity with one another. Hence the fierce competition between them. Secondly, as a result of PC-MDS PROFIT analysis, a positioning map was drawn with image similarity measurement of the restaurants and scores 9 evaluation categories for each brand name as follows: food taste, food price, service, access convenience, hygienic condition and cleaning, atmosphere, various events, circumferential environment, and public image. Thirdly, as a result of MDPREFMAP analysis based on the customer preference, data from the restaurant brand names, an ideal location of a restaurant preferred by customers and the position of restaurant brand names were indicated at the same time.
