Purpose: This study focused on analysing costs per home health care nursing visit based on home health care nursing activities in medical institutes. Method: The data was collected in three stages. First, the cost elements of home health care nursing services were collected and 31 home care nurses participated. Second, the workload and caseload of home care nursing activities were measured by the Easley-Storfjell Instrument(1997). Third, the opinions on improving the home health care nursing reimbursement system were collected by a nation-wide mailing survey from a total of 125 home care agencies. Result: The cost of home health care nursing per visit was calculated as 50,626\. This was composed of a basic visiting fee of $35,090{\\}({\fallingdotseq}355$)$ and travel fee of $15,536{\\}({\fallingdotseq}15$)$. The major problems of the home care nursing payment system were the low level of the cost per visit, no distinction between first visit and revisits, and the limitations in health insurance coverage for home health care nursing services. Conclusion: This study's results will contribute as a baseline for establishing policies for improvement of the home health care nursing cost and for applying a community-based visiting nursing service cost.
As same time of starting on the Korean Long-term Care Insurance System, the government developed a program to train new qualification of long-term care workers. The number of enrolled long-term care workers are 950,000 persons in 2010. Mostly they are working in home based care work places such as home visit care centers and home visit bathing centers covered insurance. The purpose of this study is to understand the difference of task performance requirement according to long-term care workers' responsibilities which divided into home visiting care and home visiting bathing. The comparison analysis was conducted to task performance requirement in basic management, safety management, administration management, practical services. Key result was found that task performance requirement of long-term care workers whose responsibilities are home visiting care were more higher than the home visiting bathing. Finally, To improve quality of home visiting care and home visiting bathing, it is necessary to provide the fields based continuing education and reflect new reimburse system.

In this Paper, we present the design of 10Mbps HomePNA(Home Phoneline Networking Alliance) PHY which is Home Network Technology using phone-line. It is connected with external interface through MII(Media Independent Interface) and AFE(Analog Front End) Interface. 10Mbps HomePNA PHY is composed with Management Block IEEE 802.3 CSMA/CD MAC(Media Access Control) Block Modulator block and Demodulator block. For their verification, we designed a prototype FPGA PCB board using XPC860T made in Motorola. We verified HomePNA frame data transmission using a driver program based Linux kernel. we verified rate negotiation by HomepNA 2.0 Link Layer Protocol.

The theoretical rationale and basic materials for the improvement of the recognition on home economics teachers are suggested in this study through the close examination of the teacher’s recognition and its related variables. For this study, review of literature and questionnaire survey were performed. As the results, the following may be suggested. 1. There teachers more experienced and non-majored the home economics or those who finished professional course should be reeducated adequately for new direction of home economics education in secondary school and new curriculum. 2. The development of qualification for home economics teacher and the educational system and program for training preliminary should be try to find a solution to improve the new and positive recognition of home economics education in secondary school. 3. The institutional and environmental conditions, such as pay and welfare facilities, should be improved to satisfy home economics teacher with new view of home economics education in secondary school with their duties. 4. The systematic and concrete teaching programs for contents of improving new recognition of home economics education in secondary school, and for promoting positive self-recognition as home economics teacher, and for training the abilities of developing teaching materials and guiding practical techniques should be developed.

The need for a unified data communication for home digital devices and realtime multimedia services in home network has led to recent research on home gateway over the broadcasting and communication convergence network. In this paper, we discuss requirement for such home gateway design and define services that the home gateway provides. Then, we propose a home gateway architecture aimed to efficient multimedia distribution for heterogeneous devices in the home network. The proposed home gateway has a role of protocol gateway, media server, and media trans-coder. Finally, we show the feasibility of the proposed home gateway in several multimedia distribution scenario.
Data home shopping is a kind of T-commerce service with traditional TV home shopping, product DB of data broadcasting, and advantages of catalog shopping based on data broadcasting technology. Since the data home shopping service was partially started in 2012, there were no in-depth researches regarding the perception of data home shopping. Therefore in this paper, the traditional TV home shopping and data home shopping is analyzed how the perception is in terms of platform quality, service quality and content quality and what the difference in perception is. To verify this, a questionnaire survey was conducted on TV home shopping and data home shopping 140 workers who have good understanding of data home shopping. The results showed that the difference of platform quality, service quality and content quality between TV home shopping and data home shopping was significant and TV home shopping had better quality. In terms of platform quality, TV home shopping was 3.75 on a five-point scale and data home shopping was 2.93. Service quality was significantly different between TV home shopping (3.60) and data home shopping (3.25). For the quality of contents, TV home shopping had better quality as 3.21 while data home shopping was 2.82. There was no interaction effect in gender, age, position, and work field except between the age and platform quality.
The purpose of this study is to measure the home helpers' knowledge about facts on aging and attitude toward the elderly in Korea, and to find out the variables that may influence their attitude. Four hundred and thirty eight home helpers working in a home help agency were given the questionnaire containing the Kyung San Facts on Aging Quiz to measure the level of knowledge about aging and Yoon (1988)'s scale to find the direction of attitude toward the elderly. The results of this study are analyzed as follows: (1) The home helpers' level of knowledge about aging was 59.1%, which was lower than nurses' level (65.0%) and social workers' level (65.3%). And the paid home helpers' level of knowledge about aging was 61.2%, which was significantly different from the unpaid home helpers' level (57.0%). (2) Using 5 points scale, mean of home helpers' attitude toward the elderly was 2.56 (51.2%), which was different from nurses' attitude (40.6%) and social workers' attitude (62.0%). And the paid home helpers' attitude toward the elderly's action (29.9%) was significantly different from the unpaid home helpers' attitude (32.6%). (3) Using multiple regression analysis, the home helpers' levels of knowledge about aging was the most significant predictor to explain the home helpers' attitude toward the elderly. The other variables that are also statistically significant predictors of the home helpers' attitude were sex, voluntary experience for the elderly, age, city size, and personal experience with the elderly. Especially the significant predictors to explain the paid home helpers' attitude were their levels of knowledge about aging and city size. On the other hand, the significant predictors to explain the unpaid home helpers' attitude were sex and age. Based on the research results, implications for practice and future research are discussed, and education methods for making home helpers' attitude toward the elderly more positive are also suggested.

As the health of people is a integral element of the public well-being, the government adopted and put the home visiting nurse system into practice from Jan. 1990, so that the public might get the necessary health service at the low cost and at home. Thus, it resulted in a rapid increase of the public need for the quality of life. The increasing demand for home care created a necessity for an increased man-power like home care nurse. Since the demand of the publics‘ home care has increased, Seoul Nurses’ Association, one of the branches of Korean Nurses Association has developed for the project team of Home Visiting Nurses Activities. The purpose of this study will analyzed and classified home nursing care activities of home visiting nurse according to the criteria of nursing diagnosis Korean Nurses‘ Association. The subject of the study was 54 patients in 1993 and 148 patients in 1994. All patients received home care at home from visiting nurses were living in Seoul city. The results of the study were as follows; 1) With regard to the nursing diagnosis, 24 items were classified. 2) The patients and families wanted to increase the number of time for home visiting. 3) Main sources of request to visit the patients at home were mainly from the families through nurses or doctors who cared for the patients. 4) In comparison of the characteristics visiting activities between 1993 and 1994, the number of the classification of nursing diagnosis and the number of visiting activities in 1994 were relatively increased than the outcomes in 1993.

This study was to identify the utilization of home care service and home care nursing satisfaction for clients with cancer who had completed secondary and tertiary chemotherapy session. Raw data was collected by reviewing charts and questionnaire of 23 clients with cancer between September, 2002 and November 2002 at an university hospital located in Seoul. Korea. The result are as follows: 1. Characteristics in the use of home care: After applying for home care service, patients were visiting an average of 1.88 days later. The major purpose of using home care service was to help recovery after hospitalization or to maintain present health. The average period for home care service was 14.6 days, with 4 visits over this period, for 35.78 minutes per visit. 2. Content of home care service: A total of 47 items of service were provided - basic nursing care, education and counseling, and therapeutic nursing care. On every visit, an average of 19 items of home care service were provided, and the majority (7 items) were therapeutic nursing care. 3. Satisfaction with home care services: Satisfaction was very high, an average of 3.88 on a scale of 4 points. Both patients and families expressed high satisfaction with all sub-domains of nursing care: guidance by the home care nurses, knowledge, skill, attitude, interpersonal relationships, emotional support, and accessibility. In conclusion, home care served basic nursing care, teaching and counseling, and therapeutic nursing to clients with cancer going through secondary or tertiary chemotherapy. Therefore they changed knowledge and attitude to disease and treatment which were difficult to change.

This study was done to examine the home care service provided by home care nurses and the level of client satisfaction. Data were collected from 110 clients who received the home care service at the P-hospital in Pusan from 23th April, 2001 to 30th November, 2002. The tool for measurement of satisfaction was composed of 16 items and was 4 score scale. Data was analyzed by using SPSS/WIN 10.5 program, the results of this study are summarized as follows; 1) 77.3% among 110 clients were over sixty years old. By the disease pattern. subjects were distributed into cancer(52.7%), cerebro-vascular disease(22.7%) and the others. 36.4% of clients were received home visits from 10 to 20 times by home care nurse. 2) The total number of home care services was 20,828. And most of the clients received the health education and training. 3) The mean score of satisfaction on provided home care services was $3.36\pm0.45$, out of 4. among 16 items. 'The home care nurses were kind enough' was highest ($3.59\pm0.49$), the total level of satisfaction of home care services was very high. with total mean score $53.84\pm7.16$. As mentioned above. the satisfaction level of home care services was very high. so we can except that the prospect of home care services is very challengeable. Therefore. we should try to expand the service recipients with promotional education to the home care clients under the cooperation with medical staff and make more efforts to develop the management system about clients' information. to improve the quality of the service, to assure close ties with the public health centers for the continuous home care service linking.
