과전류 제한 기능을 갖는 연료 분사장치의 고속 구동 방법 (High Speed Operation of Fuel Injectors with Over Current Protection)

  • High speed drive method for a fuel injector cleaner with current control is presented in this paper. The fuel injector cleaner is used for cleaning the fuel injectors in vehicles when it is clogged with deposit and rust. The fuel injector cleaner cleans the fuel injector by turning on and off the fuel injector rapidly. When the fuel injectors are cleaned, the switching speed is very important. However, when the fuel injector is turned off, the residual current in the fuel injector coil slows down the return action of the plunger in the fuel injector deteriorating performance and speed of the fuel injector cleaner. In this paper, fast turn off operation method of fuel injectors is developed for more effective cleaning. The simulation and experiment results show the validity of the proposed method.

고정밀 체결토크 성능 너트런너 시스템 개발 (Development of High Precision Fastening torque performance Nut-runner System)

  • 현재 자동차 산업과 함께 발전하고 있는 전자제품을 포함하는 전반적인 제조업 분야에서 초정밀 제어를 요하는 너트 체결기가 요구되고 있고 너트 체결시의 중요한 성능 요소는 체결력 부족에 의한 풀림과 과도한 체결에 의한 파손 및 강한 진동이나 외부 충격에 강건한 체결력 유지 등 조립 품질의 유지와 향상 및 제품 수명 보장을 위해 정확한 조임 토크, 각도 등이 요구된다. 현재 너트런너라는 제품명으로 판매되는 너트 체결기는 고토크 및 정밀토크제어, 정밀 각도제어 그리고 생산량 증대를 위한 고속운전 등의 특성들이 필요하며 고출력이 가능한 BLDC모터 및 너트체결기 전용의 정교한 토크제어에 필요한 고정밀 토크제어드라이버와 고속, 저속, 고응답의 정밀 속도 제어시스템의 개발이 요청되고 있으나 현재 고객이 요구하는 고정밀, 고토크 및 고속 작업특성을 만족시키지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 정확한 체결 토크 및 고속 회전에서도 저진동 및 저소음을 구현할 수 있는 d축, q축의 좌표변환에 의한 벡터제어와 토크제어기반의 BLDC모터 가변속 제어와 너트런너의 제어 기술을 제안하고 여러 실험을 통해 성능 결과를 분석하여 제안한 제어가 너트런너 성능을 만족하는지를 확인 하였다. 또한 일단 운전 체결 방식(One Stage 운전 체결 방식)으로 패턴을 프로그램하여 10,000[rpm] 고속 운전 후 목표 토크로 정확히 체결됨을 확인하였으며 토크 리플에 의한 가체결 토크 검출의 문제점도 외란관측기을 사용하여 해결하였고 실험을 통해 검증하였다.

  • We propose a novel sensing circuit for 2T-2MTJ MRAM that can be used for high speed synchronous operation. Proposed bit-line sense amplifier detects small voltage difference in bit-lines and develops it into rail-to-rail swing while maintaining small voltage difference on TMR cells. It is small enough to fit into each column that the whole data array on selected word line are activated as in DRAMs for high-speed read-out by changing column addresses only. We designed a 256Kb read-only MRAM in a $0.35\mu\textrm{m}$ logic technology to verify the new sensing scheme. Simulation result shows a 25ns RAS access time and a cycle time shorter than 10 ns.

  • The definition of multi-coupled operation is that coupled two trainsets is able to be operated one trainset identically. That is to say, the one driver, coupled two trainsets can operate the traction and braking system, control vehicle doors, phanto-graph, HVAC and passenger room lighting system etc, such as one trainset controlling. This study will provide high speed train design engineer with introducing multi-coupled operation system electrically and presentation automatic complex coupler mechanism, and then this paper will be applied to design next generation high speed train system such as Jun-la/Ho-nam line

Application of GIS Technology for Developing Emergency Management System on High-Speed Lines

  • Due to almost all tracks of new Kyoungbu high-speed lines(HSL) consisting of bridges and tunnels, HSR operational safety management is very important factor for passenger safety and preventing catastrophic event. Especially, it is important to approach the scene of the accident and assist in saving lives as soon as possible under emergency conditions. Therefore it is essential to prepare access methods and available resources in advance in order to support emergency correspodances promptly and effectively. This paper persents an application of geographical information system(GIS) for developing emergency management system as well as batabase system on tracks and facilities, electric/communication equipment and safety equipment required to support emergencies. The on-site information on the proximity of HSL is expressed on the numerical map, which can be helpful to call external supports such as medical service, local authorities, police offices, fire brigades, and etc. for the emergency situations.

  • High speed and large transfer capability of railroad has been an important issue in Korean since KTX opening at 2004. Improvement projects for railway electrification are progressed in the conventional line as well as high speed line because various operation plan is performed such as interaction between high speed line and conventional line and operation of tilting train etc. Especially, railway electrification has many advantages which are cost effective and eco-friendly. But it also has some problems such as construction costs and accidents due to electrification. Therefore this paper developed measuring index of electrification railway benefit. By comparing between diesel and electrical locomotive, the operations of before and after the electrification and measurements quantitative index such as energy efficiency, enlargement of transfer capability, environmental pollution and maintenance and efficiency of operation is presented. In the future, Overall benefit and cost of railway electrification will be analyzed.

  • This paper deals with the parallel operation of several numbers of PWM converters for a high speed railway train application. Several considerations are made to reduce the transformer interaction which can cause a current control problem in severe case. Also, in this paper, novel control strategy is proposed to achieve a harmonic free primary-side current control under a light load condition using one current sensor independent of the number of converters. In addition, the modified predictive current controller, which is suitable to a digital current controller with a relatively large sampling period, is used. Finally, to verify the system validity, digital control system with TMS320C44 micro-processor and small scale simulator are made and tested.

전차선로 동적특성에 따른 설치상태 분석 (Analysis on Installation Condition According to Dynamic Characteristics for Overhead Catenary System)

  • The measurement of current collection performance between pantograph and contact wire of overhead catenary system is intended to prove the safety of operation and the quality of the current collection system. The results of interaction performance of current collection system are required for approving with commercial operation on railway lines. The methods of interaction performance of current collection system are defined on interactional standards such as IEC 62486 and EN 50317. In this paper, the interaction performance is evaluated by the percentage of arcing on Honam high-speed line and the results are used for adjustment of the overhead catenary line structure. The experimental results in Honam high-speed line confirm that the duration of an arc lasting longer 25 ms between pantograph and contact wire was depended on the conditions of overhead contact line after installation.

  • 고속전철용 충전기는 VVVF, CVCF, DC/DC 컨버터에 전원을 공급하고 안정성과 시스템의 신뢰성을 목적으로 하는 중요한 에너지원이다. 본 논문에서는 밧데리 충전 알고리즘과 고속전철용 ZVZCS형 밧데리 충전기의 전력회로를 포함한다. 또한 고속전철용 50kW 충전기의 최적 병렬운전과 Ni-Cd 밧데리의 충전 방법을 설명하고 실험을 통해 타당성을 입증한다.

  • A study on Technical Specifications of the current collection system in G7 Korean High Speed Train Project is performed in this paper. First, an appropriate level of contact wire tension for 350km/h commercial operation is proposed based on the foreign high speed train operation experiences and a relevant technical criterion, Second, two optimized design specifications of the pantograph for G7 Korean High Speed Train are proposed based on current collection quality. In order to perform design optimization, a formulation on the follow-up characteristics of a pantograph with 3 levels of masse-spring-damper is derived in this paper. Dynamic design parameters of the pantograph are adjusted to maximize follow-up capability at the dropper and span passing frequencies.
