무전극형광램프의 고온 신뢰성 연구 (High Temperature Reliability Study of Low Frequency In-door Electrodeless Lamp)

  • Electrodeless lamp is famous for its long life. But its reliability is dependent not only on electrodes but also on materials and structures. To evaluate end product's reliability, we studied high temperature durability by $60^{\circ}C$, $75^{\circ}C$ and $90^{\circ}C$ temperature tests, and predicted failure times by an exponential model through regression analysis. However, the test showed that temperature does not affect degradation of electrodeless lamps. Their luminous outputs degrade during the early time of the test (till 250 hours) and then converge to a saturation points. Also, '410nm ~ 530nm' spectrum degrades more than other spectra.

내구성 향상을 통한 고 신뢰성 Strut Mount 개발 (Development of a Strut Mount with High Reliability by Improving Durability)

  • A strut mount is an important part of vehicles which reduces the vibration and the impact transmitted from the wheels while supporting a shock absorber and a coil spring. Rubber compounding, shape design, and process design technologies are important components to improve the functionality of a strut mount such as durability, static, dynamic, and torsional characteristics. Among them the rubber compounding technology is the key technology which dominates the quality of a strut mount. In this study a strut mount with high reliability has been developed by adopting new rubber compounding and improving the shape of the inner plate and the isolator. Through the tests for prototypes it has been shown that the durability has been improved more than 2.5 times, from about 60,000 cycles to about 160,000 cycles.

  • For a reliability assessment of large machinery parts, reliable data should be obtained from testing many samples for a long time. However, in case of testing these samples, testing cost is excessive; in case of life test for long time, power consumption is high; and in case of accelerated test by over load, very high cost is required to build the life testing device. Especially it is very frequent that the expensive device's life has ended during a accelerated test by over load. In this study, the design mechanism of the life testing device which excels in energy saving during the reliability test of large machinery parts has been introduced.

  • Railway signaling safety system organizes equipments and facilities of railway, increases transport efficiency and assures safe operation of railway. In the early days of signaling system railway managers made sure of safety by using relay logic technology based on fail-safe concept. But the development result of computer and science having been introduced to railway industry, railway signaling equipments begin to be operated through micro electronic control system. Accordingly high speed and high density operation of train became possible. Software reliability and safety technology that controls important systems of railway was highlighted. In the middle of 1990s the standard or guideline of railway reliability and safety were studied and established, and are being reviewing in Europe, Japan etc. Our reliability and safety technology have depended largely on foreign countries. In this study we performed a basic study about the reliability of software that controls the railway signaling system.

Silicate 형광체 증가에 대한 발광 특성 및 신뢰성 분석 (Analysis for luminescence property about an increase quantity of silicate phosphor and reliability)

  • This paper presents a changes of luminescence property for converted white LEDs with the commercially available silicate phosphor. If silicate phosphor's quantity increase step by step. luminescence property will be changing. we analyze luminescence property for these change and carry out the high temperature aging test for 7,000 hours, the high temperature and humidity aging test for 7,000 hours for reliability. LED degradation not only results in reduced light output but also in color changes. so we monitor correlated color temperature (CCT), chromaticity coordinates(x, y) and spectrum intensity. Those results suggest that humidity factor more bad effect in color changes than temperature factor and Lighting quality is related with quantity of phosphor.

복합기준 평가방법 ELECTRE의 신뢰도 증진을 위한 방안 연구 (Development of Methods to lmprove the Reliability of ELECTRE)

  • ELEECTRE is a less demanding and potentially Bffective multiattribute evaluation method for pre-editing proeedure. The method, however, was developed based on probabilistic mathematicsand its reliability has never'been emprieally tested. This article examined the reliability of ELECTRo under various conditions of linear and non-linear utility func- tions using a Monte-Carlo shnulation, and found the method eausea a considerably high rate of error. To enhance the reliability of ELECTRE, two ways of modi(ication - adjust- ment of threshold values of concordance and discordance matrices, and adjustment of the required nunlber of probably-dominant alternatives to eliminate a probably-dominated alternative - were suggested, and their effctiveness was also tesed by a Monte-Carlo simulation. The simulation result chows that these modifications cponsiderably improve the reliability of ELECTRE, and yet maintain a reasonably high level of efficiency. Through these modifications, ELECTRE can be used as an efficient and feliable pre-editing method. Ways to implement ELECTRE in the construction of plainning decision support systens were discussed. The impli(els combination of this method and other multiattribute evaluation methods will help to create more effective decision suport systems.

  • It is hot issue to get the competitiveness of product through reliability-growth as well as availability and safety in almost high-technology industry including military, chemistry, nuclear, telecommunication, transportation service and so on. In advanced countries, worldwide leading companies have tried to improve and develop high-reliability product as well as reliability management system(IEC60300). We investigate reliability certification systems for product and management system. Additionally, we study the feasibility on the adoption of dependability management system(IEC60300) by empirical survey on companies with product-reliability certification(R-mark) in Korea.

  • In order to develop a high speed train, various conditions have been considered. Fatigue strength assessment by the fluctuation of pressure is an important one. In this study, a numerical simulation has been performed to estimate the fluctuation and frequency of pressure when KHST(Korean High Speed Train)passes through tunnels in the Kyung-Bu high-speed railway. The simulation was based on KHST running the Kyung-Bu high-speed line with the speed of 350km/h and the interval of 10 minute headway. And the tunnel entrance speed was estimated by TPS program. Therefore, the fluctuation and frequency of pressure is expressed in Weibull distribution function in the above running situation. The result in this study would be good guidance to calculate the fatigue life and the index of reliability of body structure. We are going to conduct more study to measure the real value of the pressure of the carbody passing through tunnels, to assess the fatigue reliability and to develop method & procedure for the fatigue reliability design.

  • Recently, consumers require products with high-reliability and high-safety. Risk management system and product safety become more important issue In view of product liability. This paper aims to propose a risk assessment system which can be applied to product with high-reliability and high-safety, and also show an empirical application of the proposed risk assessment system for the development of motorcycle helmets.

고신뢰성 페로브스카이트 태양전지용 무기물 기반 전하전달층 (Inorganic charge transport materials for high reliable perovskite solar cells)

  • Halide perovskites are promising photovoltaic materials due to their excellent optoelectronic properties like high absorption coefficient, low exciton binding energy and long diffusion length, and single-junction solar cells consisting of them have shown a high certified efficiency of 25.2%. Despite of high efficiency, perovskite photovoltaics show poor stability under actual operational condition, which is the mostly critical obstacle for commercialization. Given that the stability of the perovskite devices is significantly affected by charge-transporting layers, the use of inorganic charge-transporting layers with better intrinsic stability than the organic counterparts must be beneficial to the enhanced device reliability. In this review article, we summarized a number of studies on the inorganic charge-transporting layers of the perovskite solar cells, especially focusing on their effects on the enhanced device reliability.
