한국 내 장애인 구강진료센터의 공간특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Spatial Characteristics of Public Dental Healthcare Center for the Disabled in Korea)

  • Purpose: The characteristics of site plan and space configuration of public dentistry through examining the public dental healthcare centers for the disabled in Korea and comparison between them are necessary for the development of planning of the dental healthcare system. This study has been started to provide basic informations such as nationwide distribution, site relationship, and space configuration for the planning of public dental hospital architecture. Methods: Literature review of publicness and public dental healthcare and investigation on current status of public dental healthcare center for the disabled in Korea have been conducted. The site plan and space configuration of eight public healthcare centers for the disabled have been analyzed. Results: The result of this study can be summarized in three points. The first one is that public dentistry in Korea are distributed public dental hospital for the disabled in Seoul and public dental healthcare centers for the disabled in eight provinces. The second one is that the types of the dental healthcare center for the disabled are divided with remodeling type which is diverted from existed dental or medical out patient clinic space or independent building type which is planned with a new and exclusive usage for the disabled. The third one is that the space configuration of dental healthcare center for the disabled is needed more required programs, larger treatment unit space, and more private clinic space than typical dental treatment plan. Implications: This study is the starting point for the research of public dentistry and it is necessary to analyze the dental prevention and dental public policy to develop the public dental healthcare system.

  • Because of the recent enlargement of the faculties due to the more specialized and subdivided medical field and the need for more diverse services, the easy wayfinding is necessary on the diverse approach and usage in general hospitals. The users' pattern and the architectural correspondence affected by this is one of the most important elements of design.

머신러닝을 통한 잉크 필요량 예측 알고리즘 (Machine Learning Algorithm for Estimating Ink Usage)

  • Research and interest in sustainable printing are increasing in the packaging printing industry. Currently, predicting the amount of ink required for each work is based on the experience and intuition of field workers. Suppose the amount of ink produced is more than necessary. In this case, the rest of the ink cannot be reused and is discarded, adversely affecting the company's productivity and environment. Nowadays, machine learning models can be used to figure out this problem. This study compares the ink usage prediction machine learning models. A simple linear regression model, Multiple Regression Analysis, cannot reflect the nonlinear relationship between the variables required for packaging printing, so there is a limit to accurately predicting the amount of ink needed. This study has established various prediction models which are based on CART (Classification and Regression Tree), such as Decision Tree, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting Machine, and XGBoost. The accuracy of the models is determined by the K-fold cross-validation. Error metrics such as root mean squared error, mean absolute error, and R-squared are employed to evaluate estimation models' correctness. Among these models, XGBoost model has the highest prediction accuracy and can reduce 2134 (g) of wasted ink for each work. Thus, this study motivates machine learning's potential to help advance productivity and protect the environment.

  • ICT의 발전으로 모바일과 헬스케어의 융합을 통해 건강 관리와 관리 효율성 증진을 위한 다양한 콘텐츠가 확산되고 있으나 소비자의 모바일 헬스케어에 대한 수용과 불균형을 나타내고 있으며, 소비자 행동과 특성에 따라 요구되는 기능과 수용의도에 대한 실증적 연구가 미흡한상황이다. 본 연구는 사용자들이 스마트폰 사용시 바른자세를 유지하고 있는지에 대한 자각 여부와 그로인한 위험성 인지와 해결하고 있는 방법들을 알아보고, 헬스케어 어플리케이션의 수용의도 및 기능과 가격에 대한 연구를 수행하고자 하였다. 연구를 위해 'BIO 2018 in Boston' 전시회에 참가 및 참관한 사람들을 대상으로 5일간 1:1심층 설문 작성한 자료를 실제 분석에 활용하였다. 수집된 표본 자료는 빈도분석, 기술 통계분석, 스피어만 상관분석, 카이제곱검정, 일원분산분석, 정확검정 등을 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 바르지 못한 자세를 자각 할수록 위험성 인지와 문제해결 행동의 의지도 높다. 둘째, 헬스케어 앱의 기능에 대한 만족도를 높이는 방안과 함께 건강관리와 헬스케어 앱을 활용할 수 있는 방안이 필요하다. 셋째, 사용자 행동변화를 중심으로 한 시스템 또는 기능구현에 포커스를 맞춰야한다. 넷째, 시각적으로 동기부여를 높일 수 있는 서비스개발이 필요하다. 본 연구는 다양한 소비자 특성을 파악하고 기능의 개발 방향을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의를 가지며, 향후 효율적인 헬스케어 어플리케이션 제공을 위한 기반자료로 활용 할 수 있을 것이다.

스마트폰 헬스케어 애플리케이션 수용을 위한 주요 영향요인 (Influencing Factors for the Adoption of Smartphone Healthcare Application)

  • 최근 스마트폰 사용자가 증가됨에 따라 스마트폰에 관한 다양한 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 본 연구는 스마트폰의 주요 특징 중 하나인 애플리케이션, 특히 헬스케어 애플리케이션 수용에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 기존의 기술수용모형과 혁신확신이론 연구를 분석하여 헬스케어 애플리케이션 수용에 영향을 줄 것으로 판단되는 변수를 선정하고 연구 모형을 개발하였다. 연구 모형 검증을 위해 수도권지역의 성인 220명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문결과를 이용하여 인구통계학적 특성 및 헬스케어 애플리케이션 사용 특성에 따른 사용의도 차이를 분석하였다. 또한 애플리케이션 사용자 집단과 비사용자 집단을 나누어 영향변수를 비교한 결과 자기효능감과 개인의 혁신정도와 같은 개인적 성향 변수들에 있어 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 결과는 사용하기 쉬운 시스템을 기반으로 얼리어답터의 흥미를 유발할 수 있는 새롭고 유용한 건강 콘텐츠를 제공하는 것이 헬스케어 애플리케이션 확산에 도움이 될 것임을 보여준다.

U-Healthcare 환경에서 환자정보보호를 위한 전자차트 부분 암호화 기법 설계 (A Design of Electronic Health Records Partial Encryption Method for Protecting Patient's Information on the U-Healthcare Environment)

  • By using the U-Healthcare environment, it is possible to receive the health care services anywhere anytime. However, since the user's personal information can be easily exposed in the U-Healthcare environment, it is necessary to strengthen the security system. This thesis proposes the technique which can be used to protect the personal medical records at hospital safely, in order to avoid the exposure of the user's personal information which can occur due to the frequent usage of the electronic chart according to the computerization process of medical records. In the proposed system, the following two strategies are used: i) In order to reduce the amount of the system load, it is necessary to apply the partial encryption process for electronic charts. ii) Regarding the user's authentication process for each patient, the authentication number for each electronic chart, which is in the encrypted form, is transmitted through the patient's mobile device by the National Health Insurance Corporation, when the patient register his or her application at hospital. Regarding the modern health care services, it is important to protect the user's personal information. The proposed technique will be an important method of protecting the user's information.

Self-powered Sensors based on Piezoelectric Nanogenerators

  • Flexible, wearable, and implantable electronic sensors have started to gain popularity in improving the quality of life of sick and healthy people, shifting the future paradigm with high sensitivity. However, conventional technologies with a limited lifespan occasionally limit their continued usage, resulting in a high cost. In addition, traditional battery technologies with a short lifespan frequently limit operation, resulting in a substantial challenge to their growth. Subsequently, utilizing human biomechanical energy is extensively preferred motion for biologically integrated, self-powered, functioning devices. Ideally suited for this purpose are piezoelectric energy harvesters. To convert mechanical energy into electrical energy, devices must be mechanically flexible and stretchable to implant or attach to the highly deformable tissues of the body. A systematic analysis of piezoelectric nanogenerators (PENGs) for personalized healthcare is provided in this article. This article briefly overviews PENGs as self-powered sensor devices for energy harvesting, sensing, physiological motion, and healthcare.

사회 네트워크를 이용한 사용자 기반 유헬스케어 서비스 추천 시스템 개발 (Development of User Based Recommender System using Social Network for u-Healthcare)

  • 인구의 고령화 및 건강에 대한 관심이 증가됨에 따라 유헬스케어 서비스는 발병 후 관리관점에서 발병 전의 예방 관점으로 그 목적이 점차 이동하고 있다. 그러나 기존의 유헬스케어 서비스는 원격진료 차원의 의료 서비스 성격이 강하여, 만성 성인병과 같은 대사 증후군을 예방 및 관리하기에는 한계가 있을 뿐만 아니라, 관리자 중심의 단방향 서비스를 제공함으로 인해 사용들이 중도에 이용을 포기하는 비율이 높았다. 이와 같은 문제를 해결하기 위하여, 본 연구에서는 사회 네트워크를 이용한 사용자 기반 유헬스케어 서비스 추천 시스템을 제안하였으며, 실세계에서 유헬스케어 서비스 추천 시스템의 활용 가능성을 제시하기 위하여 실제 의료원에서 대사 증후군 예방 및 관리를 위해 처방한 식단 및 운동 정보를 기반으로 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 적용가능한 시스템을 구현하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 시스템은 사용자가 선호하지 않는 서비스가 네트워크를 통해 확산될 가능성을 낮추는 동시에 추천의 신뢰성 제고를 위해 네이버들이 이용한 서비스를 공유함으로써 전체적인 추천 품질을 높인다. 즉, 사용자의 식습관 및 운동습관 등과 같은 생활습관을 개선하기 위하여 사회 네트워크를 활용함으로써 사용자간의 자율협업을 통한 개인화된 추천이 가능하다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제안하는 유헬스케어 서비스 추천 시스템은 생활습관 개선을 위하여 사용자에게 적합한 식단 및 운동을 제공하고, 생활습관의 개선을 통해 만성 성인병과 같은 대사증후군을 사전에 예방할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

노인장기요양 등급 및 급여 특성이 의료이용에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Long-Term Care Ratings and Benefit Utilization Characteristics on Healthcare Use)

  • Background: The long-term care (LTC) group has higher rates of chronic disease and disability registration compared to the general older people population. There is a need to provide integrated medical services and care for LTC group. Consequently, this study aimed to identify medical usage patterns based on the ratings of LTC and the characteristics of benefits usage in the LTC group. Methods: This study employed the National Health Insurance Service Database to analyze the effects of demographic and LTC-related characteristics on medical usage from 2015 to 2019 using a repeated measures analysis. A longitudinal logit model was applied to binary data, while a linear mixed model was utilized for continuous data. Results: In the case of LTC ratings, a positive correlation was observed with overall medical usage. In terms of LTC benefit usage characteristics, a higher overall level of medical usage was found in the group using home care benefits. Detailed analysis by medical institution classification revealed a maintained correlation between care ratings and the volume of medical usage. However, medical usage by classification varied based on the characteristics of LTC benefit usage. Conclusion: This study identified a complex interaction between LTC characteristics and medical usage. Predicting the requisite medical services based on the LTC rating presented a challenge. Consequently, it becomes essential for the LTC group to continuously monitor medical and care needs, even after admission into the LTC system. To facilitate this, it is crucial to devise an LTC rating system that accurately reflects medical needs and to broaden the implementation of integrated medical-care policies.

  • AI or Artificial Intelligence has been a significant tool used in the organisational backgrounds for an effective improvement in the management methods. The processing of the information and the analysis of the data for the further achievement of heightened efficiency can be performed by AI through its data analytics measures. In the medical field, AI has been integrated for an improvement within the management of the medical services and to note a rise in the levels of customer satisfaction. With the benefits of reasoning and problem solving, AI has been able to initiate a range of benefits for both the consumers and the medical personnel. The main benefits which have been noted in the integration of AI would be integrated into the study. The issues which are noted with the integrated AI usage for the medical sector would also be identified in the study. Medical Image Processing has been seen to integrate 3D image datasets with the medical industry, in terms of Computed Tomography (CT) or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). The usage of such medical devices have occurred in the diagnosis of the patients, the development of guidance towards medical intervention and an overall increase in the medical efficiency. The study would focus on such different tools, adhered with AI for increased medical improvement.
