휴대전화 파지방법이 엄지손가락의 운동학적 변인과 근활성도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Smartphone Holding Techniques on Kinematic Variables and Muscle Activities in the Thumb during Tapping Numbers)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine whether there are significant differences in kinematic variables and muscle activities of the thumb between two smartphone holding techniques. Twelve right handed university students(age $25.4{\pm}3.9yrs$, height $176.2{\pm}5.1cm$, weight $75.8{\pm}11.4kg$, hand length $19.2{\pm}1.1cm$) who have no musculoskeletal disorder were recruited as the subjects and had experience in using a smartphone for more than one year. Maximum joint angle, angular velocity, muscular activities were determined for each trial. For each dependent variable, paired t-test was used to determine whether there were significant differences between one hand (OH) and two hands ([TH], ${\rho}$ <.05). The results of this study showed that there were no significant differences between OH and TH in the maximum joint angle of the thumb. The angular velocity of each joint was not statistically significant between OH and TH. The statistical analysis revealed that the main effect of the smartphone holding conditions was significant in the peak normalized muscular activities of FDI and APL. Although smartphone holding technique doesn't affect on mobility and movement of the thumb joint, it may affect on active degree of the thumb and the upper extremity in directly and indirectly.

엘리베이터 시뮬레이터를 활용한 임베디드 어플리케이션 소프트웨어 교수학습방법 연구 (Study on Teaching and Learning Methods of Embedded Application Software Using Elevator Simulator)

  • 본 논문에서는 임베디드 시스템의 어플리케이션 계층 소프트웨어 학습 도구로 사용할 수 있는 엘리베이터 시뮬레이터의 설계 및 개발 방법과 이를 이용한 교수학습방법을 제안한다. 본 시뮬레이터는 학생들에게 하드웨어와 임베디드 OS 계층의 이슈를 배제한 어플리케이션 계층에서 엘리베이터 시스템의 동작 원리와 제어 방법을 소프트웨어로 구현할 수 있는 환경을 제공하여, 반응(reactive)적이며 실시간(real-time)적인 특징을 갖는 임베디드 어플리케이션 개발 경험을 가질 수 있도록 한다. 아울러 본 논문에서는 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 단계별로 난이도가 높아지는 실습이 포함된 4주간의 임베디드 어플리케이션 소프트웨어 교육 과정을 제시하고, 실제 학생들을 대상으로 교육을 진행한 결과 학습 성취도 점수 83.3점을 얻어 본 교육 과정이 임베디드 어플리케이션 학습에 유의미한 효과가 있음을 입증하였다.

중학생의 식중독 예방에 대한 인식도와 개인 위생 실천 (Perception of Foodborne Illness Prevention and Personal Hygiene Practice)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate middle school students` perceptions on foodborne illness prevention in relation to their personal hygiene practices. The survey was administered in July, 2007 at one middle school, with a total of 390 students participating. The self-completed questionnaire consisted of several questions regarding the students` awareness of foodborne illness, perceptions of foodborne illness prevention, and personal hygiene practices. T-tests were used to identify the differences in their perceptions of foodborne illness prevention based on gender and Chi square tests were used to identify the relationships between their perceptions of foodborne illness prevention and personal hygiene practices. Eight percent of the respondents experienced foodborne illness at least once a year and 33.8% of them have stopped eating certain foods due to anxiety towards foodborne illness. The students perceived school foods (26.0%) and street foods(17.9%) as the main sources of foodborne illness, and dairy products(20.0%) and fresh fish (19.7%) were considered foods having the greatest potential for causing foodborne illness. Many students were aware of Escherichia coli O157(43.1%) and Hepatitis A(23.3%), but only a few recognized Clostridium botulinum(4.1%) and Salmonella(7.9%), even though these are major foodborne illness-causing pathogens. The students considered foodborne illness prevention very important(mean = 4.33); also, the results showed that many washed their hands 3-4 times (34.1%) and 5-6 times(29.2%) per day. Hand washing frequency was significantly related to the perceived importance of personal hygiene practice as well as to education on safety and sanitation. However, the students` perception on the importance of personal hygiene practices were not significantly different based on having received safety and sanitation education. Ultimately, these results will be used to develop guidelines for effective education on safety and sanitation.

Problem Analysis and Recommendations for Using Manual Wheelchair for One-hand Users

  • Objective: This study was conducted for one-hand users including hemiplegic clients currently using general folding manual wheelchairs, so as to analyze their specific problems and recommend solutions regarding usage. Background: Traditional manual wheelchairs require considerable use and control of both hands for operation, thus adaptations become necessary for individuals with asymmetrical use of hands. Method: Thirty hemiplegic clients who were admitted to rehabilitation and convalescent hospitals participated as subjects. The research tools were general folding manual wheelchairs commonly used by people with impaired gait, and the Wheelchair Skills Tests (WST) WST-M/WCU 4.1 version was adopted as the assessment tool. All participants were asked to fill out questionnaires on demographics and wheelchair usage characteristics. Assessment procedures were performed with currently used manual wheelchairs and with/without the use of foot to control the wheelchair. Results: When the participants drove folding manual wheelchairs without the use of foot, even the lowest failure rate among the WST items tested recorded 96.7%. On the contrary, with the use of foot in maneuvering the wheelchairs, failure rates dropped noticeably and success rate among the WST items tested was as high as 86.7%. Conclusion: These findings imply that the use of one-arm (hand) propellable (drivable) wheelchair can be an active and effective solution in resolving problems for hemiplegic clients using existing manual wheelchairs. As such, the government should provide institutional support to further develop and distribute this device or technology, and promote relative research in tandem. For now, the supply of commercially available device to hemiplegic clients is deemed urgent and also a mechanism to provide the devices and relevant services. Application: This study offers viable solutions for hemiplegic clients who rely on existing manual wheelchairs to increase their mobility and occupational performance.

임상실습 전 간호대학생의 손씻기에 대한 지식, 태도 및 수행도 (Knowledge, Attitude and Performance on the Hand Washing by Pre-practicum Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 임상실습 전 간호대학생의 손씻기 관련 특성과 손씻기 지식과 태도 및 수행도를 파악하여 올바른 손씻기 교육프로그램 개발에 관한 기초자료를 제공하고자 시행되었다. 3개 대학의 간호대학생 418명을 대상으로 2011년 9월부터 10월까지 설문지를 이용하여 자료수집을 하였다. 연구결과, 대상자의 1일 평균 손씻기 수는 7.2회, 시간은 평균 19.1초였다. 대상자의 손씻기 지식, 태도, 수행도 점수는 각각 11.34점(1~15), 3.42점(1~5), 3.6점(1~5)이었다. 손씻기에 적당한 소요시간, 손을 씻은 후의 주의사항 등에 대해서는 절반 이상의 대상자가 잘 모르고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 손씻기 전 시계를 제거하는 것, 코를 만지거나 기침한 후, 돈을 만진 후에 손을 씻는 것 등은 수행이 잘 이루어지지 않는 것으로 조사되었다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 간호대학생들의 손씻기 수행도 증가를 위한 교육프로그램을 개발하여 반복교육을 실시함으로써 올바른 습관형성이 이루어지도록 해야 할 것이다.

고급아파트를 위한 위치인식 기반 u-서비스 시스템의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Location Based u-Apartment Service System)

  • In this paper, the uAPSS(u-APartment Service System) that is based on location-aware technology is designed and implemented for a luxury apartment. On the real luxury apartment the developed system has been employed and tested to provide convenient and secure living for residents. It provides services such as emergency call, intelligent elevator operation, and hands-free door access based on the location of the residents with personal device as called smart tag. It can also be applied to other service areas such as the location-aware u-Service for hospitals, high-rising complex buildings, silver towns, etc.

초등학교 수학 교과서에서 통계 그래프의 틀에 대한 교육적 고찰 (A Study on the Frames of Statistical Graphs in the Elementary School Mathematics Textbooks)

  • 일상에서는 통계 그래프의 형태가 매우 다양하지만, 초등학교 수학 교과서에 제시되는 통계 그래프는 교수학적 맥락에 의해 그 틀이 매우 정형화되어 있다. 본 연구에서는 초등학교 수학 교과서에 제시되는 통계 그래프 틀의 교육적인 의의를 고찰하고, 우리나라, 호주, 그리고 MiC 수학 교과서에 제시된 그래프 틀을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 초등학교 수학 교과서에서 통계 그래프의 틀은 (1) 그래프의 구성 요소에 주목하게 하고, (2) 그래프를 그릴 때 보조적인 역할을 하며, (3) 학습 내용을 통계적 문제해결에 적용하도록 돕는 역할을 한다. 우리나라의 초등학교 수학 교과서는 (1)과 (2)에 주목한 표 형태의 그래프 틀을, MiC 교과서는 (3)에 주목한 다양한 형태의 그래프 틀을 제시하고 있었다. 따라서 저학년 수준에서는 표 형태의 그래프 틀을 이용하였으나, 학년이 올라갈수록 축 형태의 그래프 틀로 점진적인 변화를 추구했던 호주의 초등학교 수학 교과서 사례를 참고할 필요가 있다.

교육서비스품질이 교육만족도와 직무유용성에 미치는 영향: 외식조리 관련 계약학과 학생을 중심으로 (The Effect of Educational Service Quality on Educational Satisfaction and Job Availability: Focused on Foodservice related Contract Department Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of educational service quality on educational satisfaction and job usability. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, based on the theoretical background, factor analysis and reliability analysis were conducted. Five factors of tangibility, responsibility, reactivity, assurance, and empathy were found in the educational service quality. In addition, it was confirmed that there was no problem as a single factor in educational satisfaction and job availability, and these factors showed high reliability and validity. Second, in the relationship between educational service quality and educational satisfaction, all five factors which education service quality factors were found to affect educational satisfaction. The higher the factor of educational service quality, the students will be able to increase their satisfaction with education, which was a degree of satisfaction with the education of contract department. Third, in the effects of educational service quality factors on job availability, tangibility, responsibility, reactivity, and assurance have no effect and empathy affects job availability. In this study, although the factors of education service quality is high except empathy, it is not possible to increase the job availability that leads to successful business results. Fourth, job availability affects educational satisfaction. Therefore, the higher the level of job availability, educational satisfaction will also increase. The following are implications of this study. First, high-quality lectures, hands-on training, and educational programs are needed and values that students pursue must continuously increase. Second, there is a need for measures to improve job availability such as the formation of curriculum related to jobs and the demand for the training courses of restaurants.

가상현실(VR/AR) 기술 기반으로 군 안전 및 자살사고 예방을 위한 안전체험훈련장 구축 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Establishment of Safety Training Center Based on Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Technology for Military Safety and Suicide Accident Prevention)

  • 현재 우리 군은 과학과 기술의 발달, 2000년대 들어 급격히 심해진 저 출산율, 병 복무기간 단축 등으로 병력위주에서 장비위주로 첨단화, 고속화, 복잡화 되어가고 있다. 즉, 한 번의 실수로 많은 인명피해가 발생할 수 있는 실정이다. 선진국과 민간 안전교육 체계 및 교육성과 등을 분석해보면 군 안전 및 자살사고를 예방하기 위해서는 체험교육이 중요하며, 체계적이고 효율적인 체험교육을 위해서는 안전체험훈련장 건립이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 지금 입대하고 있는 장병들은 일명 인터넷세대로 태어나면서부터 인터넷을 접하면서 성장하여 가상·증강현실(VR / AR)을 자유롭게 활용하고 있으며, 지금의 과학 기술 수준은 국민안전체험관의 체험실 대부분을 가상·증강현실로 대체할 수 있을 정도의 수준까지 발전하였다. 따라서 군 안전체험훈련장은 설치공간, 건립비, 유지비, 사용자 특성, 교육효과 등을 고려하여 '응급처치'처럼 모형이 효과적인 체험실 몇 개를 제외한 많은 체험실을 가상·증강현실로 건립할 필요성이 있다. 가상·증강현실(VR / AR) 기술의 발전, 국민안전체험관 운용실태, 군 부대 특성, 설치비 및 유지비 등을 고려하여 체험훈련 소요를 도출하였다. 그리고, 국민안전체험관 대비 저비용으로 효과적인 훈련성과를 달성할 수 있는 안전체험훈련장 구축방안과 부대별 교육인원 및 주변 여건에 부합한 안전체험훈련장 규모와 체험실 구성에 대해 제시하였다. 향후 이를 기반으로 안전체험훈련장을 구축하여 체험교육을 한다면 군 안전 및 자살사고를 예방하는데 기여하게 될 것이다.

다문화 과학인재와 과학영재의 학습 경향성 및 사회적 특성과 과학캠프 참여 태도 비교 (A Comparative analysis on learning tendency & social characteristics and science camp participation attitude of the global science talented and the science gifted children)

  • This study examined the learning tendency & social characteristics and the science camp participation attitude of the global science talented and the science gifted c. The survey was carried out on children who are taking part in Global Bridge project group and in Science Education Institute for the gifted S National University of education. The results of this study were as follows. First, the science gifted children was more superior to the global science talented, when it comes to task commitment and fluency, creativity, enthusiasm for learning on the learning tendency. Second, the science gifted children have much more sociality than the global science talented in the sense of social characteristics. The global science talented showed lack of interpersonal relationship & confidence for human relationship. Third, both parties were positive in terms of attitude which participating science camp. It was proved that science camp made a positive affect on both groups in several senses such as improving awareness & attitude of science activity and enhancing sociality. As a result, unlike ordinary program for the science gifted children, one for the global science talented in global bridge project is highly demanded that it should be considered the characteristics of the multi-cultural students. Moreover, it might be considered that educational circumstance would be needed, under which it is able to stimulates students' scientific curiosity throughout launching science hands-on program, such as systemized science camp etc.
