Recently, the interest on the comfortable dwelling environment is increasing and the effort to solve the problem of exterior noise was tried. The propose of this study is to suggest the design of balcony window in apartment and to evaluate the sound insulation of it. So, we designed five types of balcony window which were considered not only sound insulation but ventilation. The sound reduction index of window was evaluated by the measurement in mock-up room. The results showed that case 2 improved about 6dB in the weighted apparent sound reduction index than case 1, and case 3 reduced about 39% in construction cost than case 4.

Rosai-Dorfman Disease[RDD] is an idiopathic histiocytic proliferation affecting lymph nodes. Although extranodal involvement has been reported in the skin, orbit, upper respiratory tract, of testes, the isolated intracranical involvement without associated lymphadenopathy is extremely rare. We report our experience with 1 case of an isolated intracranial RDD without associated lymphadenopathy and any other organ involvement. A 61-year-old male presented with an isolated well-circumscribed brain mass in the posterior fossa, preoperatively thought to be a meningioma. But histology and Immunohistochemistry confirmed that the lesion was RDD.

Power conversion system comes with a twenty-year warranty commonly. Life test requires a long time. The life of power conversion system that especially sensitive to temperature can be expected within a short time by using Arrhenius technique with worst stress condition than actual working condition. This paper researches reliability analysis and environment test of power conversion system.

Lipoxygenase and Kunitz trypsin inhibitor protein of mature soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] seed are main anti-nutritional factors in soybean seed. A new soybean cultivar, "Gaechuck#1" with the traits of black seed coat, green cotyledon, lipoxygenase2,3 and Kunitz trypsin inhibitor protein free was developed. It was selected from the population derived the cross of "Gyeongsang#1" and C242. Plants of "Gaechuck#1" have a determinate growth habit with purple flowers, brown pubescence, black seed coat, black hilum, oval leaflet shape and brown pods at maturity. Seed protein and oil content on dry weight basis have averaged 39.1% and 16.2%, respectively. It has shown resistant reaction to soybean necrosis, soybean mosaic virus, Cercospora leaf spot and blight, black root rot, pod and stem blight, and soybean pod borer. "Gaechuck#1" matured on 5-10 October with a plant height of 50 cm. The 100-seed weight of "Gaechuck#1" was 23.2g. Yield of "Gaechuck#1" was averaged 2.2 ton/ha from 2005 to 2007.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of air traffic controller's leadership characteristics and hazardous attitudes on the team effectiveness. The effectiveness make use of team efficacy and team commitment. Leadership characteristics and hazardous attitudes make use of the contents of a CRM manual. The study showed following results. 1) Leadership characteristics has a positive influence on the team effectiveness. 2) Hazardous attitudes has a partially bad influence on the team effectiveness. This study was conducted under the auspice of civil and military ATC facilies and by participation of devoting ATC controller's.

Objectives: To report the effect of Korean medicine on 39-year-old infertile patient with thin endometrium. Methods: The patient who had thin endometrium was treated with herbal medication, acupuncture, moxibustion and steam bath for 4 months. Results: After the Korean medical treatment, the patient could give a natural birth to a healthy baby. Conclusions: The case report suggests that Korean medicine, especially herbal medicine and acupuncture is effective on thin endometrium.

In the modern financial market, the scale of financial instrument transactions in the over-the-counter (OTC) market are increasing. However, in this market, there exists a counterparty credit risk. Herein, we obtain a closed-form solution of power option with credit risks, using the double Mellin transforms. We also use a numerical method to compare the differentiations of option price between the closed-form solution and Monte-Carlo simulation. The result shows that the closed-form solution is precise. In addition, the option's price is sensitive to the exponent of the maturity stock price.

The Cu/Cu2O/CuO photoelectrode has been successfully fabricated by Rapid Thermal Annealing technique. The structural characterization of fabricated photoelectrode was performed using X-Ray diffraction, while elemental composition of the prepared material has been checked with X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy. The synthesis parameters are optimized on the basis of photoelectrochemical performance. The best photoelectrochemical performance has been observed for the Cu/Cu2O/CuO photoelectrode fabricated at 550 ℃ oxidation temperature and oxidation time of 50 seconds with highest photocurrent density of -3 mA/㎠ at -0.13 V vs. RHE.

Four phenolic compounds were isolated from the wood and bark of Magnolia sieboldii. The structures were determined as : costunolide (I), syringin (II), 1, 2-dihydroxyxanthone (III), and vanillic acid (IV), respectively, on the basis of spectroscopic data.
