계획된 행위이론에 근거한 대학생의 HPV예방교육 효과 (Effect of HPV Prevention Education on College Students Based on Planned Behavior Theory)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 계획된 행위이론에 근거한 HPV 예방교육이 대학생의 HPV 백신지식, 자궁경부암 지식, HPV 백신접종에 대한 태도, HPV 백신접종에 대한 주관적 규범, HPV백신접종에 대한 지각된 행위통제, HPV 백신접종에 대한 의도, HPV 예방백신 접종행위에 미치는 효과를 확인하기 위한 유사실험 연구이다. 대상자는 실험군 32명, 대조군 34명으로 임의표출 하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계, t-test, χ2-test, Fisher's exact test와 repeated Measures ANOVA로 분석하였다. 연구결과 HPV 예방교육에 참여한 실험군은 참여하지 않은 대조군과 HPV 백신지식(t=5.66, p<.001), 자궁경부암 지식(t=4.13, p<.001), 태도(t=2.24, p=.032), 주관적 규범(t=2.83, p=.008), 지각된 행위통제(t=2.65, p=.013), 의도(t=3.91, p<.001)에 유의한 차이가 있었다. HPV 예방교육 중재 4주 후 HPV 백신접종 의도는 집단과 시간의 경과 간의 교호작용에 유의한 차이가 있었다(F=6.95, p=.002). 따라서 HPV 예방교육은 대학생에게 실제 적용할 수 있는 교육프로그램임을 확인하였다.

결혼이주여성의 자궁경부암(인유두종 바이러스, HPV) 백신 접종의도 영향 요인 (Factors Associated with Intention to Receive HPV Vaccination among Marriage-Immigrant Women)

  • 본 연구는 결혼이주여성을 대상으로 HPV 지식, HPV 백신 접종 태도 및 HPV 백신 접종 의도를 확인하고, HPV 백신접종 의도에 미치는 영향요인을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 본 연구는 J도 지역에 거주하는 결혼이주여성 136명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구 도구는 HPV 지식, HPV 백신 접종 태도, HPV 백신 접종 의도를 사용하였으며, 자료수집기간은 2017년 9월 28일부터 12월 21일까지였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 24.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구결과, 결혼이주여성의 HPV 지식은 낮았고(2.74점), HPV 백신 접종 태도는 긍정적인 편이었다(36.66점). 또한 HPV 백신 접종 의도에 영향을 미친 요인은 출신국가가 베트남인 경우(OR=2.899, p=.048), HPV 백신 교육 요구(OR=5.967, p<.001), HPV 백신 접종 태도(OR=1.083, p=.034)였다. 그러므로 결혼이주여성의 HPV 지식을 높일 수 있도록 교육 프로그램을 개발하여 적용하고, 의료기관이나 대중매체 등 다양한 방법을 통해서 HPV 백신에 대한 정확한 정보를 제공하여 HPV 백신에 대해 긍정적인 태도를 가질 수 있도록 하는 것이 중요할 것이다. 이를 통해 결혼이주여성의 HPV 백신 접종률을 향상시키는데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

부산 일부지역 20대 여성들의 인유두종바이러스(HPV) 백신 접종에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors influencing the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination of females in their twenties in some Busan areas)

  • 목적: 이 연구는 부산 일부지역의 20대 여성을 위주로 인유두종바이러스 백신접종에 영향을 미치는 요인 추정에 관한 것이다. 방법: 2013.11.11-28동안 편의추출 방법으로 자발적으로 참여한 488명을 조사하였다. 결과: 자궁경부암 관련 지식수준은 7점 만점에 평균 2.54점이고, 대상자들의 96.7%와 31.5%는 각각 자궁경부암과 HPV에 대해 들어본 적이 있다고 응답하였다. 의료진의 권유에 의한 백신접종비율은 2.7%로 낮았으며, 지식수준이 높을수록 백신접종비율이 높게 나타났다. 백신접종에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변수는 인유두종바이러스에 관해 들어본 적이 있다로 나타났다. 결론: 기존 연구에 비해 지식수준은 낮았으나 백신접종율은 증가하는 추세를 나타낸다. 백신접종을 위해 의료진에 대한 홍보가 필요하며, 미접종자들에 대한 교육과 홍보의 필요하다고 판단된다.

성별에 따른 고교생의 인유두종 바이러스 백신 접종실태와 관련 건강신념 및 지식의 차이 (Comparison of Human Papillomavirus Vaccination Status, Associated with Health Belief and Knowledge between Male and Female Highschool Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate and compare human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination status associated with HPV health belief and knowledge between male and female highschool students. Methods: In the winter of 2012, 183 students responded to self-administered questionnaires, and t-test, ${\chi}^2$-test, and ANOVA were used for data analysis. Results: There were significant differences in the experiences of hearing about HPV vaccination, source of HPV information, experience of being vaccinated with HPV vaccination, reason for HPV unvaccination and vaccination intention by gender. The mean scores for health belief of HPV vaccination were 1.72 (total score: 4) in men and 2.31 in women. There were significant differences in HPV health belief (t=-5.14, p<.001). The mean scores for knowledge of HPV vaccination were 0.08 (total score: 1) in men and 0.12 in women, but there were no significant differences in HPV knowledge (t=-1.62, p=.108). There were positive associations between HPV health belief and knowledge in women (p=.02). Conclusion: This study showed different HPV vaccination status, health belief and knowledge in gender. The results indicate a need to consider levels of health belief and knowledge of HPV vaccination in target populations of highschool students when planning a HPV related education program.

초등학생 자녀를 둔 어머니의 HPV 백신 접종의도와 융복합적 관련요인 (Convergence Related Factors and HPV Vaccination Intention for Mothers with Children Elementary School)

  • 본 연구는 계획된 행위이론에 근거하여 초등학생 자녀를 둔 어머니의 인유두종 바이러스 백신접종의도와 관련요인을 파악하고자 시도되었다. 연구 대상자는 G광역시 소재 초등학생 자녀를 둔 어머니 132명으로 자료수집은 2017년 7월 1일부터 2017년 8월 30일까지 이루어졌고, 자료분석은 SPSS 23.0 Program을 이용하였다. 분석결과 대상자의 초등학생 자녀 94.7%가 HPV 백신을 접종하지 않았으며, 그 이유로 백신에 대해 잘 모르거나 부작용에 대한 걱정, 비용부담 등인 것을 나타났다. 대상자의 HPV 백신에 대한 접종태도는 접종의도 중 가장 중요한 예측요인이었고 지각된 행위통제, 주관적 규범도 유의한 예측요인인 것으로 확인되었다. 그러므로 HPV 백신에 대한 정확한 지식제공을 통해 접종태도와 실천행위를 변화시킬 수 있는 교육프로그램의 개발 및 효과를 검증하는 연구가 필요할 것이다.

아시아 국가 성인 여성의 HPV 지식, HPV 백신접종 태도에 관한 연구: 문헌고찰 (Knowledge about HPV, and the Attitudes Toward HPV Vaccination among Adult Women in Asian Countries: A Literature Review)

  • Purpose: This literature review was conducted to provide a summary of the findings from research on knowledge and attitudes about human papilloma virus (HPV) and HPV vaccination, and studies of its actual uptake among women in Asian countries. Methods: The author searched the Pubmed, CINAHL, and KISS electronic databases to identify peer-reviewed articles published between 2006 and 2011. Results: Seventeen peer-reviewed studies met the inclusion criteria (13 quantitative, 4 qualitative). Findings from seven Asian countries that measured female adult's knowledge of HPV related issues and attitudes toward HPV vaccination were reviewed. Low level of knowledge about HPV and its related conditions, willingness to be vaccinated, and low uptake of vaccines were identified across the studies. Cultural barriers and social stigmatization about HPV vaccination were also discussed. Conclusion: Findings from this review indicate that adult women in Asian countries are in urgent need of improving HPV related knowledge and its actual vaccination. Policy makers, health care providers, and public health educators should take into account the cultural barriers and attitudes toward HPV vaccination in the process of developing and implementing educational programs and interventions for adult women in Asian countries.

중·고등학교 보건교사의 자궁경부암 예방백신에 대한 지식과 암 정보추구행위 및 교육의지 (The Relationships among Knowledge, Information Seeking Behavior, and Willingness for Education about Human Papillomavirus Vaccination in the Middle or High School Teachers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships among knowledge, cancer information seeking behavior, and Willingness for education about Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination among school teachers. Methods: The subjects were 135 teachers who had were working in the middle or high school in Korea. Data were collected by a self-report questionnaire, 2011. Data were analyzed by using the SPSS WIN 18.0 program. Results: There was a positive relationship between information seeking behavior and Willingness for education about HPV vaccination. There were differences in Willingness for education according to necessity of HPV vaccination for premarital women above 16-year old and marital women below 45-year old, and necessity of education for students. The Willingness for education were predicted by information seeking behavior, groups who HPV vaccination is necessary to premarital women above 16-year old, and HPV vaccination education for student is necessary. These variables explained 25.0% of the variance of the Willingness for education about HPV vaccination. Conclusion: The Willingness for education about HPV vaccination among middle or high school teachers could be improved by the emphasis of the preception that HPV vaccination is necessary to middle or high school students and is related to the prevention of cervical cancer.

여고생 딸을 둔 어머니의 인유두종 바이러스와 자궁경부암 지식 및 딸의 인유두종 백신접종 실태 (Knowledge Level of Human Papillomavirus, Cervical Cancer and Vaccination Status among Mothers with Daughters in High School)

  • Purpose: The goal of this study was to examine knowledge level of human papillomavirus (HPV), cervical cancer, and vaccination status among Korean mothers' with a daughter in high school. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted with a convenience sample of 234 Korean mothers. Results: The mean score of HPV knowledge level was 4.21 out of 20, and cervical cancer knowledge was 3.88 out of 7. There were low levels of daughters' who received HPV vaccination (3.8%) and high levels of mothers' intention to get their daughters' vaccinated with HPV (85.0%). The major barrier to HPV vaccination was the concern for side effect from the vaccination. The most effective recommendation for HPV vaccination came from health care providers. Conclusion: HPV educational programs targeting mothers of daughters in high school is needed. Future studies need to determine actual HPV vaccination rates and factors related to high uptake using a larger sample from various socioeconomic background.

보건 계열과 비보건 계열 남자대학생의 인유두종 바이러스 지식, 인유두종 바이러스 백신 접종 의향과 접종 저해 요인 (HPV Knowledge, HPV Vaccination Intention, and Barriers on HPV Vaccination in Male Undergraduate Students of Health Department and Non-health Department)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify the level of Human papillomavirus (HPV) knowledge, intention of HPV vaccination, and barriers on HPV vaccination among male undergraduate students of Health department and Non-health department. Methods: A total of 149 male undergraduate students responded to self-administered questionnaires about their HPV knowledge, HPV vaccination intention, and their barriers on HPV vaccination. ANOVA, t-test and $x^2$ test (Fisher's exact test) were used for data analysis. Results: Mean score of HPV knowledge was $3.39{\pm}3.05$, and there was significant difference between Health department ($4.15{\pm}3.08$) and Non-health department ($2.58{\pm}2.82$) in HPV knowledge (t=3.241, p=.001). There was no significant difference in HPV vaccination acceptance between the two groups. The barriers on HPV vaccination were 'lack of information about HPV vaccine efficacy' and 'lack of information about HPV vaccination time and strategy', and there were significant differences in barriers on HPV vaccination between the two groups. Conclusion: The knowledge on HPV was low, and HPV vaccination was hindered due to lack of information about HPV vaccine despite their intention to obtain HPV vaccine. HPV education to promote HPV vaccination should be targeted among male students.

일 지역 어머니의 HPV 관련 지식도 (Mothers' HPV-related Knowledge in an Area)

  • Purpose: This study was aimed to examine mothers'knowledge about human papillomavirus (HPV)vaccination to prevent cervical cancer in Korea. Methods: From September 20 to October 10 2011, 101 mothers who have adolescent girls were surveyed with questionnaires about their general characteristics, the knowledge of HPV vaccine, inoculation rate and vaccination-related factors of their daughters. Results: The percentage of correct answers for HPV vaccine knowledge was 24.2% and the HPV vaccination rate was only 5.9%. HPV vaccine knowledge score of the vaccination group was significantly higher than that of the non-vaccinated group. Mothers said that the reasons why they didn't vaccinate their daughters against the HPV was the financial burden, the lack of HPV knowledge, and worries about possible side effects. The participants addressed that they understood the appropriate age for vaccination was sixteen. Conclusion: We recommend that more educational and promotional efforts need to be given for mothers in order to improve their knowledge of HPV vaccination and to increase the performance rates of HPV immunization against cervical cancer for their daughters.
