This paper suggests the strategy for attracting FDI in Gwangju and Jeonnam region using the secondary data collected by homepage of Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Gwangju City, and Jeollanam-do. The strategy for attracting FDI in Gwangju and Jeonnam region is as follows: First, the local governments of Gwangju and Jeonnam must progressively attract FDI by adjusting to the Korean government's regional industry policy direction. Second, in order to attract FDI consistently, the local governments of Gwangju and Jeonnam must enhance the ability of local officials to attract FDI. Third, in order to attract FDI effectively, the local governments of Gwangju and Jeonnam must build a complete system to support FDI. Fourth, in order to attract FDI effectively, the local governments of Gwangju and Jeonnam have to apply different investment incentives according to FDI effectiveness. Fifth, the local governments of Gwangju and Jeonnam must consistently support foreign companies in order to induce FDI expansion by foreign companies which have already invested in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions. Finally, in order to attract FDI consistently, the local governments of Gwangju and Jeonnam must improve the negative images and living environments of the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions.

To provide rice products in substituted for wheat flour and wheat products in elementary school foodservice, the survey for nutritionist in elementary school was accomplished from November 3rd to 8th, 2012 in Gwangju and Jeonnam area, and obtained 83 and 95 copies from Gwangju and Jeonnam, respectively. Most nutritionists were graduated from universities and had careers longer than 15 years. The nutritionists (56.7%) had worked at the schools where food allergy students were enrolled. The consumption of wheat flours per one student per month was 677.8 g in Gwangju and 707.4 g in Jeonnam. Udon and Jajangmyeon were more popular wheat products. Nutritionist agreed positively that rice products instead of wheat products were possible to use for meal menu (73.5% in Gwangju and 61.1% in Jeonnam). The frequent use of rice products was tteokbokkitteok, because of students' preference. The rice bread and tteokguktteok were preferred significantly higher in Jeonnam than in Gwangju. The advantages of rice products which perceived by nutritionists were benefits for health, digestive easily, and high nutritious, but their disadvantages were hard-to-find and expensive. The nutritional values of rice and recipes for cooking rice products were required as educational program for increasing consumption of rice products. Demonstration for rice cooking methods was selected most popular program. The application of rice products for school foodservice was preferred to Jeonnam compared to Gwangju (p<0.001). As a consequence, the nutritionists working in elementary school in Gwangju and Jeonnam area have positive thought about using rice products in school foodservice, if educational program of school foodservice menu using rice products should be demonstrated them.

This paper investigated the awareness and activation of food tourism festivals in Gwangju, Jeonnam Province. A survey was conducted for the visitors of the Gwangju Kimchi Festival at nearby Gwangju Jeungoe park from October 15 to 19, 2011, and finally 207 respondents were analyzed. As a results of this study, the visitors who visited the Gwangju Kimchi Festival have a lot of interest in local food and food festivals. Also, most of the visitors have much more affection for the area and the food culture developed by geographical influence. The Gwangju Kimchi festival proved to be the most popular food tourism festival in Gwangju, Jeonnam among others. There are much more food festivals than other regions in Gwangju, Jeonnam because of popularity of food festivals, a variety of food, and various kinds of food ingredients. What is necessary to activate the food tourism festivals in Gwangju, Jeonnam includes a variety of programs related to food tourism experience, the development of competitive food tourism products, and PR for well-being food of these areas.

The economic development system of Korea is based on export-oriented strategy and the free trade agreement. So Korea is trying to conclude the free trade agreement with China, Japan, and EU. The reason is that Korea will have more chances to develop there economy scale and trade surplus, but it will give the worst economic situation. The research showed that the effects of FTA on Korea's GDP will be much greater than China's and Korea's trade surplus with China will expand in the manufacturing sector, but agricultural and marine products are layed in opposite situation. Especially comparing with other Provincial, Gwangju Jeonnam has a relative importance portion of agricultural and marine products. So, Gwangju Jeonnam have to prepare the effects of agricultural and marine products under the Korea China FTA.

The purpose of this study was to survey the actual condition about field learning materials in Gwangju and Jeonnam area. The questionnaire was developed to examine teachers' perceptions and actual condition of a field teaming related science subject at 145 elementary schools in Gwangju city and Jeonnam province. The results of this study were as follows. First, the rate of school in performing field teaming related to 'strata and fossils' in science class was $6.8\%$. Second, the place of dianosaur track fossils in Jeonnam province, which was suitable for field teaming 'strata and fossils: were well known by $75\%$ of teachers. Also $68\%$ of teachers have not visited those places. On the basis of this result, the followings are proposed. First, field teaming materials and place should be developed in each school district. Second, field teaming strategies should be developed in various level. Third, some programs to study how to teach in the field teaming and experience the various field places should be suggested to preservice teachers as well as inservice teachers.

This study investigated housewives' perception of local special foods in Gwangju and Jeonnam in Gang Jin. Of 150 questionnaires sent, there were 114 responses. The most perceptible local special foods in Gwangju and Jeonnam area are as follows: Watermelon in Gwangju (100.0%), Pear in Naju (90.0%), Rice in Suncheon (40.0%), Gorosoe in Gwangyang (76.7%), Hongeo in Mopko (63.3%), Dolsan leaf mustard Kimchi in Yeosu (100.0%), Sweet Persimmon in Jangseong (86.7%), Salted bamboo sprout in Damyang (46.7%), Apple in Gokseong (90.0%), Butterfly rice in Hampyeong (63.3%), Gorosoe in Gurye (56.7%), Onion in Muan (96.7%), Peach in Hwasun(40.0%), Dallmaji rice in Yeongam (50.0%), Oyster mushroom in Jangheung (63.3%), Green tea in Boseong(96.7%), Heuksanhongeo in Sinan (53.3%), Loess sweet potato in Haenam (83.3%), Kukija in Jindo (60.0%), Laver in Wando (76.7%), Tohajeot in GangJin (73.3%), Citron in Goheung (90.0%), and Gulbi in Yeonggwang (100.0%). The most perceptible area and local special foods in Gwangju and Jeonnam area were in the following order: Green tea in Boseong (17.37%), Tohajeot in GangJin (15.97%), Watermelon in GwangJu (10.0%), Pear in NaJu (9.3%), and Loess sweet potato in Haenam (9.3%).

Central government of Korea devised the balanced national development as one of important agenda of government administration, and set up special act for balanced national development. According to special act, a plan to transfer public institutions to local areas was publicized on June 24, 2005. Thus 175 public institutions located in the capital area will be transfered to 11 local governments, and innovative cities will be built in local areas until 2012. However, Gwangju and Jeonnam province adopted not two individual innovative cities but one common innovative city in cooperation with two local governments. This study focuses on the characteristics of location selection process of common innovative city in Gwangju and Jeonnam province. Discussion about construction of common innovative city was started in need of new model for common development of two provinces, and most of peoples agreed a plan to establish on common innovative city within Jeonnam area near Gwangju area. Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Innovation Council, in particular, played an important role in the process of location selection and initial discussion about common innovative city. In addition, Common innovative city to be built in Naju city will be provided positive regional development effects in several dimensions. In result, it has been evaluated as a successful model of innovative city to be constructed with transfer of public institutions to local areas.

Purpose: The current study seeks to examine the continuing education of physical therapist in Gwangju, Jeonnam. Methods: A survey was conducted during the continuing education of physical therapist held in Gwangju in 2015 with 297 participants. The survey questionnaire consisted of 13 questions on characteristics of physical therapist, 7 questions on the level of satisfaction with continuing education, 11 questions regarding the need for continuing education, and 8 questions concerning how to improve continuing education. Results: As for the level of satisfaction with the content of continuing education, the survey results indicated that there were significant differences across respondents' age and career period. Regarding the level of satisfaction with the environment in which continuing education was provided; significant differences were observed across respondents' age, education, marital status, monthly pay, career period, and service period. Regarding the level of satisfaction with the expense in which continuing education was provided; significant differences were observed across respondents' sex, age, education, marital status, dependent family, monthly pay, career period, and position. In terms of the level of satisfaction with the operation method in which continuing education was carried out, there were significant differences across respondents' age, education, and career period. Conclusion: The survey found the level of satisfaction with continuing education to be average among physical therapist in Gwangju and Jeonnam. In addition, as for ways to take continuing education courses for those who have never taken it, online education was mentioned the most. Therefore, there is a need for advertising online continuing education.

This investigation into the actual condition of instruction with the General Science textbook was carried out by conducting a questionnaire survey of a General Science teachers at high schools in the Gwangju-Jeonnam area. As a result of analysis, it was found that the percentage of four different teachers teaching the four science subjects was 62.5% of the whole, and the percentage of one teacher teaching all four science subjects was 7.5% in Gwangju, with the percentages being 21.1% and 36.6%, respectively, for Jeonnam. An most appropriate type of General Science textbook instruction is for four different teachers to teach the for different subjects (75%) according to teachers in the Gwangju-Jeonnam area. The teachers that teach the General Science textbook want the course to include the following sections in this order in the chemistry field in the new General Science textbook: atoms, molecules, and ions; chemical reactions, chemical periodicity, and acids and bases
