  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of customer aggression on the job stress and emotional burnout of security guards in casino. Investigating tools used questionnaire, the sampling was drawn from security guards at 6 casinos which had more than 30 security guards. To this study, the partisans of the study were 269 people. Data for creation for questionnaire is completely computed processing and using SPSS 15.0 Windows that is social studies scholastic mantle command program after imputed encoding according to each purpose. Analyzing techniques to use for analysis of data enforced technology figure analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, multiple regression analysis. Through data analysis by such method and procedure, conclusion that gets in this research is as following. First, exposure that is difference that keep in mind partially as result that verify difference of aggression according to demographical features, job stress and emotional burnout that is security guard's in casino. Second, exposure that is difference that keep in mind as statistical as result that verify effect that customer aggression gets in job stress of security guards in casino. Third, exposure that is difference that keep in mind as statistical as result that verify effect that customer aggression gets in emotional burnout of security guards in casino.

Research on the Wearing Conditions of Rash Guard in Marine Leisure Activities (해양 레저활동에 따른 래시가드의 착용실태 연구)

  • We investigated the characteristics of subjects in marine leisure activities and the wearing conditions of a rash guard through a consumer survey. The questionnaire examined the number of rash guards owned by different styles, wearing size, choice of rash guard compared with ordinary clothes, and the satisfaction in a rash guard (color, textile, size, quality, price, function, and design) using Likeret Scales. The subjects were 105 adult men and the data analysis utilized an SPSS 20.0 Package. The results were significant for wearing conditions correspondent with the marine leisure activities. More years of experience resulted in a higher number of rash guards owned. A higher level of participation in sport resulted in more different styles of rash guards. More years of experience resulted in an increase preference for tight rash guards. In the case of wearing L and XL size that selected the smaller rash guard over the ordinary clothes, it was evaluated at "satisfaction" level in color, textile, size, quality, function, design. In the case of wearing XS, S and M size that did the larger and same as ordinary, it was at "ordinary" level and bellow.

  • This paper describes about the development of new concept's rear wheel guards for the reduction of Road Noise in the passenger vehicle using test. The new wheel guards are proposed by various frequency chamber concept and different textile layers concept. Two wheel guards were verified by small cabin resonance test and vehicle test. Through new developing process without vehicle test, Result of road noise will be expected when new concepts and materials of wheel guard is applied into automotive vehicle. As a result of the application of Aimed Helmholtz and Multi-layers concept, this paper classifies the road noise, cost and weight are reduced by new concepts and the solutions are adopted into the 2 cars.

  • The purpose of this consideration is to present fundamental data for understanding and development the historical approach of Korea Protection by re-examining Royal guarding system through the history in Early Chosun Dynasty. This paper initiated from this critical mind seeking to understand the changing phase of Korea Guarding system, and fundamentally to find the future-oriented ways for the Guarding system. The main materials of history in Early Chosun Dynasty were re-examined, investigated and analyzed and the main references are a code of laws and official as well as private documents such as Kukjo-Oreyeui. Guards system for Royal prince has been found in Byung-jeon of Kyungguk-daejon. he Guards organization has dual system, one was Gumgun which was a private military man and the other was Wuibyung which was a Central military man. On the contrary, central military man were normally protected the royale palaces, but when the King come and go they accompanied and protected the King in safety zone. But just in case they did a job as a member of capital protection military affairs. A question of finance was the reason why there had been dual protection system due to financial matter. If it increased number of man it would pay much money, therefore central military man who has no relevance to national finance were supplied as members of military affairs for the protection of king.

Effect of Physical Activity Program on Body Composition and Cardiovascular Risk Factors in Security Guards (민간경비원의 신체활동 참여가 신체조성과 심혈관계 인자에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this investigation was to determine the effect of physical activity program on body composition and cardiovascular risk factors in security guards. The subjects consisted of twenty security guards who are working to the security company in Seoul, physical activity group of 10 people and control group of 10 people in 2012. The results were as following. For body composition, there were significant decreases in body fat, also significant increases in fat free mass(p<.05). There were significant decreases in TG, elevated HDL-C was observed with physical activity group(p<.05). It is concluded that physical activity program might make beneficial effect such as increasing fat free mass, it also produces lower incidence of cardiovascular disease during 12 weeks in security guards.

A Study of Job Involvement and oranization Commitment on Job Form of Security Guard (민간경호원의 직무형태가 직무몰입과 조직헌신도에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of job involvement and organization commitment on job form of security guard. The total 260 subjects are composed of 50 women and 210 men who work at security company for security guards in Seoul and Gyonggi province. First, according to the populational and social character, job involvement was higher in women security guards than men, higher in 'above 41' for age, higher in 'university' for educational level, and higher in '300-400' for incomes. Second, according to the populational and social character, organization commitment was higher in men security guards than women, higher in 'above 41 ' for age, higher in 'graduate school of university' for educational level, and higher in '300-400' for incomes. Third, according to the form of the job, the job involvement was higher in 'under 10' for their career, higher in 'manager' for their responsibilities of work, higher in 'afternoon working' for the time schedules, and higher in 'field service' for the kind of working. Fourth, according to the form of the job, the organization commitment was higher in 'under 10' for their career and higher in 'field service' for the kind of working. However, there was no difference between the responsibilities of work and the time schedules. Fifth, it increases the organization, when the job involvement of the security guards such as work attachment, active performance, and the pursuit of job achievement.

A study of elderly private security guards about their victimization experience in the workplace and their perception of occupational stress (노인경비원의 폭력피해 경험과 직무스트레스에 대한 연구)

  • While the average age of population increases, so as the number elderly workers employed in the private security in Korea. However, not many studies have examined the issues related to elderly security guards so far, especially regarding the experience of workplace violence victimization even though they are quite vulnerable. The current study surveyed elderly private security guards across the nation in an attempt to ask about their workplace violence victimization experience, including both physical and verbal ones. The researchers investigated if victimization experiences affect the elderly security guards' perception of occupational stress. The result indicated that the respondents experienced verbal violence more than physical violence, and perpetrators were usually customers, not their supervisor or coworkers. In addition, those who experienced verbal violence in the workplace, perceived a higher level of occupational stress. The experience of physical violence did not make a significant impact. Policies are discussed in order to decrease workplace violence towards elderly security guards.

A Study on the Improvement of the Subway Protective Guards System (지하철보안관제도의 활성화 방안에 관한 연구)

  • The Seoul subway system has one of the highest transport shares in the city of Seoul. A high number of passengers means that a high level of crimes of all kinds occur on the city's subway system. As such, Seoul Metro, created the Subway Protective Guards System in 2009, in an effort to enhance safety on the subway. But this innovative new system did not resolve problems. In fact, many citizens came to question the effectiveness of the new system, as it did not yield tangible results. This study seeks to deduce the problems and activation strategy of the Subway Protective Guards System. An in-depth study was conducted by interviewing subway protective guards who were squad leaders with five or more years of relevant work experience. Semi-structured interview analysis was utilized to evaluate their responses. Specifically, their responses were deduced to identify the strengths and weaknesses internal to the system and the opportunities and threats posed by the environment external to the system. This study presents measures to improve the system based on the aforementioned analysis. Measures for improvement focused on the following areas: the adoption of an education system in response to terror; recruitment and the possibility of becoming a permanent employee; obtaining partial judicial powers; improvement of work environment; and intensifying the promotion of the system.

A Study on Development of National Examination Security Service (국가시험 보안업무의 발전적 방안연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the development of the examination security business plan based on the problem that guards are now aware of examination security service. To achieve the purpose of this study, the interview was conducted by interviewing interviews with five field related graduates and seven field specialists who are currently engaged in the examination for more than six years. The guard who perform national examination security service proposed a development plan of national examination security services as follows. First, the security guards at the national examination must complete an education program suitable for the nature of the workplace. Second, disaster and emergency response training should be added. Third, national examination security guards should be provided with mental training, search equipment and advanced equipment. Fourth, The National Examination Security Service should be specified in the Security Law so that laws and regulations can actively respond. Fifth, the related organization (contracting party) must raise the cost of service according to reality after realizing the property. Sixth, The national security service should ensure that security guards who have completed the security guards' training will be recruited.

  • The increasing number of crimes in rapidly changing modern society is enhancing people's desire for safety. As of 2008, 2,900 private security businesses with 133,000 employees operated in the private security industry which emerged in response to growing demands from society and people. Of the employees, bodyguards (hereinafter referred to as "private security guard") accounted for about 10% or 13,000. Most private security guards were suffering from various occupational diseases. Especially as they needed to guard their clients many hours a day and worked in a standing position for a long time, private security guards often complained of low back pain. Under the pain, they were hardly expected to perform their tasks efficiently. There are several causes of low back pain. The most prevalent cause is muscle weakness and imbalance around low back. Especially because private security work often requires security guards to maintain a standing position for a long time, many of them are suffering from low back pain. This study pursued the following purposes. First, it tried to identify the pathogenesis of low back pain caused by muscle weakness and imbalance around low back. Second, it tried to provide private security guards, who can hardly have personal time at work, with an easy method to prevent and manage low back pain any time by researching an effective therapy for low back pain caused by muscle weakness and imbalance around low back.
