아동의 부정적 정서표현에 대한 어머니 반응과 아동의 정서지능 간 관계 : 성별에 따른 탄력성의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effects of Children's Resilience by Gender on the Relationships between Mother's Reactions to Children's Negative Emotions and Children's Emotional Intelligence)

  • The study examined the pathways from maternal reactions to children's negative emotions to children's emotion intelligence through children's resilience by gender. The participants in this study comprised 413 elementary school 4th-6th graders (of which 214 were boys, and 199 were girls). They completed questionnaires on maternal reactions to children's negative emotions, children's resilience and levels of children's emotional intelligence. Data were analyzed by means of T-test and structural equation modeling. In the case of the male group, it was found that maternal emotion coaching, when done indirectly, but not directly, had an influence on their levels of emotional intelligence. On the other hand, in the case of the female group, it was found that emotion coaching, when done indirectly, as well as directly, had an influence on their levels of emotional intelligence. Therefore, these results indicate that children's resilience mediated the effects of maternal emotion coaching on emotional intelligence. It also found that there are distinct pathways from maternal reactions to children's negative emotions to emotion intelligence through resilience by gender.

순환적 공감모형기반 유아 공감능력증진프로그램이 공감능력 및 또래 유능성과 정서지능에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of a Cyclical Empathy Model-based Young Children Empathy Enhancement Program on Empathy, Peer Competence, and Emotional Intelligence)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a cyclical empathy model-based empathy enhancement program on young children's empathy, peer competence and emotional intelligence. Methods: A total of 40 subjects were selected for this study from 5-year-old children attending S Day Care Center located in Seoul, out of whom 20 were assigned to an experimental group and the remaining 20 to a comparative group (control group). The SPSS 21 statistical program was used to determine whether there was a significant difference between the two groups in the effectiveness of the program implementation. Results: There were statistically significant differences in the changes between the pre and post scores of the experimental group and the comparative group, which showed that the cyclical empathy model-based empathy enhancement program was effective for the young children's empathy, peer competence and emotional intelligence. Conclusion/Implications: This study suggests that if a young children's empathy enhancement program can be applied to child care sites to help the teachers in the field children can overcome empathy-related difficulties by themselves. This study also provides basic information in order to have meaningful educational experiences in young children's education institutions.

  • Is the social web environment in which production, distribution and consumption of information occurs from users an environment where manifestation of collective intelligence is easily made? Or is the social web environment a condition that incites people to depend on the groupthink due to biased information? It is important to conduct empirical studies on the possibility of social media as a tool of collective intelligence under the situation where conflicting opinions prevail. However, most of the existing studies related to this were limited to an exploratory research rather than an empirical research. In this regard, this study attempted to examine if the social media can perform a part as a platform of the collective intelligence empirically. Based on the experimental results, it can be safely said that the communication methods of social media showed its usefulness in both 'intellectual capacity of the group' and 'problem-solving skill of the group.'

의사소통 훈련 프로그램이 간호사의 의사소통능력, 감성지능(EQ), 자존감 및 대인관계능력에 미치는 효과에 대한 사례연구 (A case study on the effect of communication training program on nurse's communication ability, emotional intelligence (EQ), self - esteem and interpersonal ability)

  • 본 연구는 의사소통 훈련을 받은 실험집단과 그렇지 않은 대조집단 사이의 의사소통능력, 감성지능, 자존감과 대인관계능력의 차이를 비교하는 비동등성 유사실험 연구이다. 연구대상은 C시 소재의 D대학병원에 근무하는 21명의 간호사를 실험집단으로, 21명의 간호사를 대조집단으로 구성하여 2017년 4월부터 5월까지, 실험집단에게는 의사소통능력, 감성지능, 자존감 및 대인관계능력 향상을 위한 의사소통 훈련 프로그램을 주 1회 2시간씩 총 4회기를 진행하였고, 연구의 효과성 검정을 위하여 사전, 사후 검사를 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS for Window 23을 이용하여 사전사후검사의 평균과 표준편차, 독립표본 Mann-Whitney의 U검증, 대응표본 Wilcoxon 부호 순위 검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과 실험집단과 훈련을 받지 않은 대조집단에서 의사소통능력(Z=-3.361, p<.05), 감성지능(Z=-2.209, p<.05), 자존감(Z=-1.633, p<.05), 대인관계능력(Z=-2.577, p<.05)으로 나타나, 의사소통훈련 프로그램 후 실험집단의 의사소통능력, 감성지능(EQ), 자존감 및 대인관계능력 점수가 모두 유의하게 증가하였으며, 모든 가설은 지지되었다. 이러한 결과를 볼 때 임상현장에서 간호업무 수행 시 의사소통 훈련프로그램을 활용한다면 의사소통능력, 감성지능(EQ), 자존감 및 대인관계능력의 향상으로 치료적인 의사소통과 효과적인 간호를 제공하여 환자의 만족감을 높이고 간호의 질 향상에도 기여할 것이다.

  • 딥러닝의 등장과 ICT(Information and Communication Technology)의 급속한 발전으로 정치, 경제, 문화 등 사회의 다양한 분야에서 인공지능을 활용한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 딥러닝 기반 인공지능 기술은 자연어 처리, 영상 처리, 음성 처리, 추천 시스템 등 다양한 영역으로 세분화된다. 특히, 산업이 고도화됨에 따라 시장 동향 및 개인의 특성을 분석하여 소비자에게 추천하는 추천 시스템의 필요성이 점점 더 요구되고 있다. 이러한 기술 발전에 발맞추어, 본 논문에서는 딥러닝 기반 '언어처리지능' 과 '영상처리지능'의 기술개발을 통해 정형 또는 비정형 텍스트 및 이미지 빅데이터로부터 속성 정보를 추출 추출하고, 분류하여 패션시장의 트랜드나 신규소재 등을 분석하고 소비자의 취향 분석을 통하여 '시장-소비자' 인사이트를 발굴하여, 스타일 추천, 가상 피팅, 및 디자인지원 등이 가능한 인공지능 기반 '맞춤형 패션 어드바이저' 서비스 통합 시스템을 제안한다.

Generation of Fuzzy Rules for Cooperative Behavior of Autonomous Mobile Robots

  • Complex "lifelike" behaviors are composed of local interactions of individuals under fundamental rules of artificial life. In this paper, fundamental rules for cooperative group behaviors, "flocking" and "arrangement", of multiple autonomous mobile robots are represented by a small number of fuzzy rules. Fuzzy rules in Sugeno type and their related paramenters are automatically generated from clustering input-output data obtained from the algorithms the group behaviors. Simulations demonstrate the fuzzy rules successfully realize group intelligence of mobile robots.

Development and effects of a high-risk pregnancy emotive role-play program for nursing students: a quasi-experimental study

  • Purpose: This study aimed to develop an emotive role-play program for nursing students focusing on high-risk pregnancy and analyze its effects on communication skills, clinical performance, and emotional intelligence. Methods: A quasi-experimental nonequivalent comparison group design was adopted with 83 nursing students (experimental group, 45; comparison group, 38) who participated voluntarily in an extracurricular program. The preliminary survey was conducted on November 3 and November 4, 2020, and the follow-up survey was conducted on November 12, 2020, for the comparison group and on November 27, 2020, for the experimental group. A program that included five role-play scenarios related to induced labor, preeclampsia, premature rupture of membranes, preterm labor, and infertility was developed by a group of experts and presented to the experimental group over 11 total hours across 3 days. Each student participated in a role-play scenario as a patient, family member, or nurse and observed three other scenarios. The comparison group received a workbook after the follow-up evaluation. The independent t-test was performed to analyze changes in communication skills, clinical performance, and emotional intelligence. Results: Communication skills (t=1.84, p=.035) and clinical performance (t=2.75, p=.004) significantly increased in the experimental group compared to the comparison group. A significant difference was not observed between the experimental and comparison groups for emotional intelligence (t=1.36, p=.088). Conclusion: The emotive role-play program concerning high-risk pregnancy was effective in improving nursing students' communication skills and clinical performance and can be used in nursing education related to high-risk pregnancy and childbirth.

어린이집내 인공지능 로봇 사용경험 여부에 따른 유아의 인공지능 인식 차이 (Differences in Preschool Children's Perceptions of Artificial Intelligence according to their Experiences with AI Robots in daycare centers)

  • Objective: This study investigated the differences in preschool children's perceptions of artificial intelligence (AI) and their distribution by latent profiles according to their experience with AI robots in daycare centers. Methods: The participants included 119 five-year-old children, 52 of whom had experience with AI robots in daycare centers and 67 of whom did not. Children's perceptions of AI were measured using the Godspeed scale from Bartneck et al.(2009). Data were analyzed using a t-test, latent profile analysis, and chi-square test. Results: The results showed that compared to the inexperienced group, the experienced group reported lower levels of animacy and perceived intelligence of AI robots, indicating higher levels of AI knowledge and understanding. In addition, the experienced group had a higher probability of belonging to the 'machine recognition' type than 'organism recognition' type, although the difference was not statistically significant. Conclusion/Implications: The findings suggest that experience with AI robots in daycare centers can improve children's AI knowledge and understanding. To further enhance this effect, it is necessary to increase the number of robots put into classrooms, and to consider various teaching media that reflect children's preferences.

과학고학생과 외국어고학생의 지능과제 수행 시 뇌활동성 분석 (Brain Activity of Science High School Students and Foreign Language High School Students during the Intelligence Task)

  • 본 연구에서는 과학고학생(n=8)과 외국어고학생(n=5)을 대상으로 지능과제 수행 시 뇌활동성을 분석하였다. 두 집단은 지능점수가 상위 1% 안에 드는 높은 지능을 지닌 학생들이었다(과학고집단: RAPM 평균점수=34.0, WAIS 평균 IQ=139.6; 외국어고집단: RAPM 평균점수=33.8, WAIS 평균 IQ=147.2). 분석결과 두 집단은 지능과제 수행 시 공통적으로 좌측과 우측의 전두엽, 두정엽, 전대상피질에서 활동성을 보였다. 과학고집단은 도형 작업기억과 관련된 우측 두정엽에서 가장 높은 활동성을 보인 반면, 외국어고집단은 언어 작업기억과 관련된 좌측 전두엽에서 가장 높은 활동성을 보였다. 두 집단 간의 뇌활동성 차이를 분석한 결과 외국어고집단은 과학고집단에 비해 혀와 입술의 운동과 관련된 좌측 중심전이랑에서 높은 활동성을 보였다. 이러한 결과는 지능과제 수행 시 과학고학생은 도형 관련 영역이 주요하게 관여하는 반면, 외국어고학생은 언어 관련 영역이 주요하게 관여하는 것을 보여주는 것으로 동일과제임에도 불구하고 관여하는 주 사고체계가 영재성을 보이는 분야에 따라 서로 다를 수 있음을 시사한다.

영재학생의 다중지능과 그 학부모가 인식하는 자녀에 대한 다중지능의 비교 (Comparison of Multi-intelligence of gifted students and their parents' perception of their children)

  • In this study, we compare the multiple intelligence of gifted students with the multiple intelligence of their children recognized by their parents. The subjects of the study are 118 students and their parents at the gifted education center affiliated with A University. First of all, there is a difference between the multiple intelligence of gifted students and the multiple intelligence recognized by their parents. Parents are highly regarded their children in all multiple intelligence components. Second, there are differences in multiple intelligence of gifted students' gender. The difference in multiple intelligence of children recognized by parents depending on the gender of the student was similar to the student's results. Third, there are not much difference in multiple intelligence between elementary and middle school students. However, there is a big difference between students and parents in the elementary school group compared to the middle school students. Therefore, since multi-intelligence can be developed by individual experience and environment throughout one's life, an educational environment that reflects objective evaluation and student needs rather than parental subjective judgment should be created.
