실시간 환경데이터를 이용한 3차원 시각화 시스템 (3D Visualization System for Realtime Environmental Data)

  • 최근들어 태안에서 발생한 기름유출 사건과 인근연안의 적조 발생이나 수온의 급격한 변화로 인하여 해양생태계 및 양식장 등에 많은 피해가 발생하고 있다. 이들 피해를 줄이기 위해서는 다양한 요소들을 관리하는 기술요인이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 사용자 인터페이스 분야의 신기술로 부각되고 있는 WPF(window presentation foundation)기술을 활용하여 단순한 숫자의 나열 또는 2차원 그래프로 제공되던 각종 센서 및 측정 장비로부터 받은 실시간 데이터를 2D 및 3D 그래픽, 애니메이션 등의 다양한 형태로 제공할 수 있는 실시간 환경데이터의 3차원 시각화 시스템을 구현한다.

스트레치 센서를 이용한 말더듬 치료 훈련기의 개발 (Development of stuttering treatment practice device using stretch sensors)

  • Using stretch sensors, a stuttering treatment training device that improve the abnormal breathing of stutterer was designed and developed. To improve stutterer's inadequate breathing method that is one of principal reason of stammering, the device estimates breathing method by checking the changes of the stretch sensor's resistances those are put on the chest and abdomen of user. And a vocal exercise program that carry out exercises only when the user maintains the abdominal breathing was designed. Using a PIC16C711 device that includes an A/D convertor, a main controller was designed and the vocal exercises software was developed using Director and C program with graphic user interface for user convenience. The controller sends the resistance data of sensors to PC through the serial port and the software verifies the breathing method. And the device was designed that the RTS (request to send) pin of serial port in PC is used as a power source so that it can work without any battery or other power source. Three stutterers have carried out the clinical experiments using the implemented device for two months and the results showed it was excellent to alleviate the stuttering.

온라인 방식의 공구경로 계획을 내장한 지능형 NURBS 곡면 보간 시스템 (Intelligent NURBS Surface Interpolation System with Embedded Online Tool-Path Planning)

  • The purpose of this study is to improve the machining of free-formed NURBS surfaces using newly defined G-codes which can directly deal with shapes defined from CAD/CAM programs on a surface basis and specialize in rough and finish cut. To this purpose, a NURBS surface interpolation system is proposed in this paper. The proposed interpolation system includes online tool-path planning, real-time interpolation and feedrate regulation considering an effective machining method and minimum machining time all suitable for unit NURBS surface machining. The corresponding algorithms are simultaneously executed in an online manner. The proposed NURBS surface interpolation system is integrated and implemented with a PC-based 3-axis CNC milling system. A graphic user interface (GUI) and a 3D tool-path viewer which interprets the G-codes for NURBS surfaces and displays whole tool-paths are also developed and included in our real-time control system. The proposed system is evaluated through actual machining in terms of size of NC data, machining time, regulation of feedrate and cutting force focused on finish cut in comparison with the existing method.

틸팅 차량용 시뮬레이터 개발을 위한 철도차량 모델링 (A Study on a Dynamic Modelling for the Development of the Tilting Train Simulator)

  • This paper presents a dynamic model of railway vehicle for the development of a 6-axis tilting train simulator. The tilting train simulator will be used to verify the tilting electronics and tilting control algorithm that are to be applied to the Korean tilting train. The tilting train simulator is composed of 6 electric-driven actuators, a track generation system, a graphic user interface, and a visualization system with a 1600mm-diameter dome screen. The each system shares the data by means of ethernet network in realtime. In this study, a train model of 9-DOF with a force generation system to tilt train body has been developed. The dynamic analysis for the straight track running and curve negotiation of a railway vehicle can be performed in the model. In this study, a verification study for the application of the model to the simulator has been conducted under curving situation on the track with different radii.

VisualLISP을 이용한 스퍼기어의 3차원 모델링에 관한 연구 (A Study on the 3-Dimensional Modeling of Spur Gear Using VisualLISP)

  • This paper describes the development of automatic shape design program for spur gear. It produces automatically third-dimensional surface and solid model used in CAD/CAM system with inputting simple measurements. This program can maximize user's convenience and get surface and solid model quickly as accepting GUI(graphic user interface). Automatic shape design program for spur gear was developed by Visual LISP, a developer program. Besides, a geometrical method and a mathematical algerian are used in this program. Use frequency of a fine spur gear is on the increase recently and manufacture process of this gear is heat treatment after press processing with molding. In this press processing, the upper punch portion of a fine spur gear shape is drafted by CAM. Therefore, estimated that surface and solid model of spur gear used to CAM are needed in this research. In this research, after 2 ㎜ gear was modeled by auto shape design program, the upper punch portion of a fine spur gear was manufactured as giving third-dimensional model to CAM software and then, displayed the result as applying to press process.

  • 근래 들어 생명과학 및 생명정보에 대한 관심이 높아지면서, 활발한 연구 활동의 결과물로 많은 정보를 얻을 수 있게 되었다. 방대한 생명정보를 분석할 수 있는 많은 알고리즘이 개발되었으며, 웹 기술이 발달함에 따라 생물정보의 활용도가 높아져서 다양한 방법으로 정보 서비스가 가능하게 되었다. Web Services는 XML, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI를 사용하는 분산 컴포넌트 기반의 컴퓨팅 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 바이오인포매틱스 분야에서 Web Services를 구성하는 모든 요소들을 개발한다. 특히 One-Stop Web Services는 GU 환경의 인터페이스로 사용자에게는 용이한 실행 환경을 제공하고 있으며, Web Services 개발자에게는 사용자 인터페이스 개발 부담을 줄일 수 있다.

시험유역의 운영을 통한 하천관리시스템의 개발 (Development of River Management System with Operation of an Experimental Watershed)

  • 본 연구에서는 하천흐름에 대한 물리적인 특성을 반영한 수질해석을 실시할 수 있는 하천관리시스템을 개발하였다. 횡성댐 상류 계천유역에 시험유역을 선정하여 수문관측과 수질관측을 실시할 수 있는 체계를 구축하였으며, 현재까지 지속적인 관측을 통해 자료를 축적하고 있다. 대상구간에 대한 수리해석모형과 수질해석모형을 구축하고, 과거 홍수사상과 수질관측자료들을 이용하여 모형의 보정과 검증을 실시하였다. 대상구간에 ArcView를 이용한 GUI를 구축함으로써 횡성호의 수질감시 및 수질관리를 보다 효율적으로 수행할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Recently the substation automation is actively researched at each country. Since the substation automation is an integrated system that consist of electrical, electronic and computer technologies, performance evaluation is very important to inspect the developed system's applicable possibility for real power system. Most studies are verified using computer simulation, because it is hard to apply them to real power systems. Therefore development of a substation simulator is necessary for the performance evaluation of many application systems such as operator aid system. This paper introduces a substation simulator. An intelligent fault diagnosis and restorative control expert system is also introduced UDP/IP is applied as a protocol for data transport between expert system and SC(station computer). As to the Graphic User Interface, C++ Language and Visual Basic is used in the Windows NT operating system together with four Pentium II systems.

  • 기름유출이나 적조 등에 의한 해양오염사고가 빈번하게 발생되고 있고, 이들을 처리하기 위한 방제작업이 수행되고 있다. 효과적인 방제작업을 수행하기 위해서는 오염원의 거동을 방제자가 신속히 예측하여 오염원의 확산을 막아야한다. 본 연구는 해양오염원의 이동예측을 방제자가 손쉽게 수행 할 수 있는 프로그램 개발에 관한 내용이다. 본 논문에서는 GUI 기법을 이용하여 연구중인 ODM(Oil Diffusion Modelling)의 구성과 내용에 관하여 소개하였다. ODM은 전ㆍ후 처리부분과 수치해석 부분으로 나뉘어 있으며 윈도우 환경으로 구성되어 방제담당자가 손쉽게 프로그램을 작동시켜 결과를 확인 할 수 있도록 하였다. 본 연구가 계속 진행됨으로서 보다 편리한 확산예측 프로그램이 개발될 것으로 기대한다.

히트싱크를 이용한 전자통신 시스템의 방열설계 프로그램 개발 (Development of Thermal Design Program for an Electronic Telecommunication System Using Heat Sink)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the cooling performance of heat sinks for an electronic telecommunication system by adequate natural convection. Heat generation rates of electronic components and the temperature distributions of heat sinks and surrounding air are analyzed experimentally and numerically. In order to perform the heat transfer analysis for the thermal design of telecommunication system a program is developed. The program used the graphic user interface environment to determine the arrangement of heat sources, interior fan capacity, and heat sink configuration. The simulation results showed that the heat sinks were able to achieve a cooling capacity of up to 230W at the maximum temperature difference of $19^{\circ}C$. To verify the results from the numerical simulation, an experiment was conducted under the same condition as the numerical simulation, and their results were compared. The design program gave good prediction of the effects of various parameters involved in the design of a heat sinks for an electronic telecommunication system.
