Due to the fast growing rate of the global container trade, every major port is under the pressure of meeting the projected capacity demand. As a result, alternative solutions have been sought for improving capacity and meeting the growing demand for container storage area and terminal capacity. Moreover, material handling process re-engineering is now a critical issue for logistics and supply chain managers of airline, shipping lines, terminal and warehousing enterprises around the world. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to develop the 3D simulator for executing performance valuation of port transportation systems. The developed 3D simulator system is to measure the effectiveness of the proposed total system and compare it with existing practices. The performance analysis variables are also defined for these comparisons

This paper deals with the e-Commerce Cooperation between South and North Korea for Promotion of GaeSung Industrial Complex that has been evaluated as the most successful project for inviting the foreign investment of South Korea because many small and medium enterprises are rushing to invest to that Complex. The e-Commerce cooperation between South and North Korea in GaeSung Industrial Complex are playing a role for North Korea survives in the global digital world in that the cooperation is shifted to IT and e-commerce as well as. North Korea has the policy to increase national wealth to uphold the IT industry. The e-Commerce Cooperation between South and North Korea in GaeSung Industrial Complex will develop the e-commerce in North Korea and increase the e-Commerce between South and North Korea in the future.

The cruise industry is one of the world's fastest growing device industry which is structural construction coasts are expensive. Cruise out-fittings are thirty times compare with general large vessels. According to the characteristics of materials or equipments, most equipments are imported from europe. At present domestic shipbuilding industries and minor enterprises have a hard times therefore enhancing technology for the cruise industry could be infused vitality on the industries. If domestic small and midium industries have high technology for the cruise ship, domestic small and midium industries can have global competitiveness compare with european equipment suppliers which has small-scale and high technology. Therefore on this study, cruise ship's new equipment development and a study for the performance assessment and classification type approval certificate was carried out.

Maintaining agility and responsiveness m designing and manufacturing activities are the key issues for manufacturing companies to cope with global competition. Distributed design and control systems are regarded as an efficient solution for agility and responsiveness. However, distributed nature of a manufacturing system complicates production activities such as design, simulation, scheduling, and execution control. Especially, existing simulation systems have limited external integration capabilities, which make it difficult to implement complex control mechanisms for the distributed manufacturing systems. Moreover, integration and coupling of heterogeneous components and models are commonly required for the simulation of complex distributed systems. In this paper, a collaborative and adaptive simulation architecture is proposed as an open framework for simulation and analysis of the distributed manufacturing enterprises. By incorporating agents with their distributed characteristics of autonomy, intelligence, and goal-driven behavior, the proposed agent-based simulation architecture can be easily adapted to support the agile and distributed manufacturing systems. The architecture supports the coordination and cooperation relations, and provides a communication middleware among the participants in simulation.

Logistics creates a boom in accordance with the recent new technique's development along with the recent RFID/USN of ubiquitous computing technique. The wave of 4PL(Fourth Party Logistics) that added the strategic consulting based on new IT techniques to logistics outsourcing through existing 3PL service with is a great issue. Moreover, the customer enterprises which contained manufacturers and distributors need the one stop service, therefore a method for effectively dealing with global logistics' environment changes is needed. Above all, a development of the 4PL system with RFID is very urgent. We developed the RFID u-4PL system progressed more than the present system, in which we applied many international standards. Finally, we constructed the web service based on Web 2.0 because of important condition of 4PL.

Collaborative product commerce (CPC) supports a collaboration that a global enterprise and customer related to life cycle of product share product information and a collaboration process for the collaboration, and integrating applications. In this paper, we use common data schema in order to solve a interoperability problem about shared product information between enterprises. And we map to common data schema from each other different data format. Therefore we implement CPC Adaptor in order to integrate distributed product information.

Nowadays, the increasing global competition forces manufacturing enterprises to apply new technologies such as laser welding to manufacturing of their products. In case of automotive industries, they interest in assembly system for BIW (Body in White) carrying out laser welding. In this paper, the method of implementation for digital laser welding assembly system is proposed. Based on the requirements of assembly tasks obtained through product analysis, process modeling is executed by using the IDEF0 and UML model. For digital assembly system, the selected components are modeled by using 3D CAD tools. According to the system configuration strategy, lots of the alternative solutions for the assembly system of welding side panels are generated. Finally, the optimal laser welding system is chosen by the evaluation of the alternative solutions with TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method.

Many enterprises have implemented packaged enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions rather than system development on the promises of feasible strategic benefits. Typical feasible benefits include adoption of global standards and processes through a proven integrated system, continuous version upgrading by vendors, and thus the easiness of system maintenance. The objectives of this research are to identify what makes a post-implementation success of ERP system and to figure out the critical issues and factors for the successful upgrade of packaged ERP systems. This case study was conducted based on five different organizations that have experienced system upgrade implementation. Success factors of ERP system upgrade include (1) clear statement of upgrade goals, (2) good coordination and communication among the implementation partners, (3) thorough management of customization and maintenance history including documentation, (4) Planning of system requirements of higher version, and (5) redefinition of role between business departments and IT department.

In this paper, it is described on the exportation trend and future development paradigm of the localized small aircraft which was recently developed four seated canard type aircraft for exportation purpose. Presently, even though the development of small aircraft is recessed, if we start development of the proper airplane models by integrating domestic power of industry-university-institute on the base of research experience from now on, we can go into the global market and take up the level of world top 10 makers without doubt. For successful operation of exportation system of small aircraft, it is needed to set up development strategy paradigm by forming consortium centering around the medium and small enterprises.

The compatibility of the enterprises of Korea was the 'low cost and mass production＆apos;. That in because, the entire business transactions including production, accounting, personnel management, and logistics need to be integrated with a global perspective. Logistics information system is to support the management of such logistics activities and involves in a wide range of the business operations. In other words, the logistics information system is 0 accurately and rapidly deliver and process the information available for the logistics in order to promote more smoother and efficient logistics by using such information. I'll give a brief introduction to the SRM(Supplier Relationship Management) system and go into the problem that should be considered and which phase to emphasize when building this system.
