3차원 기계요소를 위한 자동형상 설계프로그램 개발 (Development of Automatic Geometry Design Program for 3-Dimensional Mechanical Element)

  • In this study we do for the thing to develop automatic geometry design program of a mechanical element that we have used in CAD/CAM system. The program, which produces automatically three-dimensional surface and a solid model that have been used in CAD/CAM system, widely create automated two and three-dimensional model to by inputting several necessaries for a design, fur the design element. It is emphasized if you are just a beginner having only basic knowledge of the mechanical engineering, you might be able to design easily a three-dimensional model. The software to be used to develop automatic geometry design program is visualLISP to be a developer program of AutoCAD.

수학영재를 위한 기하 프로그램 설계 및 교수전략 (The Design and Teaching Strategy of Geometry Program for the Mathematically Gifted)

  • 기하는 수학의 기초를 이루는 중요한 영역이다. 그러나 수학영재를 위한 기하 학습프로그램과 영재를 지도하기 위한 교수전략 연구가 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 해석기하학과 사영기하학을 중심으로 영재들의 특성을 고려한 학생중심의 학습 프로그램 설계에 대한 모델을 제시하고 새로운 교수전략으로 기초전략단계(문제제시, 문제해결), 지지전략단계(수학적 개념추출, 수학화, 확장), 전이전략단계 등을 소개한다. 이를 통해 수학영재들에게 필요한 기하교육의 방향성을 제시하고자 한다.

A technique for capturing structural crack geometry in numerical simulation based on the invariant level set method

  • Engineering structures usually suffer from cracks. The crack geometry has an influence on the structural mechanical properties and subsequent crack propagations. However, as an extensively utilized method in fracture analysis, the extended finite element method provided by Abaqus fails to output the specific location and dimensions of fractures. In this study, a technique to capture the crack geometry is proposed. The technique is based on the invariant level set method (I-LSM), which can avoid updating the level set function during crack development. The solution is achieved by an open-source plug-in programmed by Python. Three examples were performed to verify the effectiveness and robustness of the program. The result shows that the developed program can accurately output the crack geometry in both the 2D and 3D models. The open-source plug-in codes are included as supplementary material.

  • 이 연구에서는 우리나라 중학교 교육과정을 토대로 하여 중학교 1학년 기하 영역에 대한 형성평가 프로그램을 개발하고 적용함으로써 그 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 또한 개발한 형성평가 프로그램 효과 검증에 활용된 사전 사후평가에 대한 학생의 반응을 분석함으로써 중학교 1학년 학생의 기하 개념에 대한 이해 정도를 살펴보았다. 기하 영역 형성평가 프로그램과 그 분석 결과는 중학교 1학년 기하 영역의 효과적인 교수 학습을 위한 유용한 정보로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • This paper introduces an hypermedia program supportable for teaching secondary and upper secondary level geometry. This program links users to files written in other softwares and internet web sites to provide information and exploratory environments with softwares. The linkage with the interactive dynamic software(GSP) files to teach hyperbolic geometry is illustrated with sample screens.

  • The Erlangen program is a scholastic plan by German mathematician Felix Klein, in which he, based on group theory, made a reassessment of geometry as well as an attempt to generally organize it. In this paper, I will introduce the historical and scholastic background of the Erlangen program, overview the process of its formation, and provide some comments regarding its historical significance.

  • A feature is well known as a medium to integrate CAD, CAPP and CAM systems. For a part drawing including both simple geometry and compound geometry, a process plan such as the selection of process, machine tool, cutting tool etc. normally needs simple geometry data and non-geometry data of the feature as the input. However, a extended process plan such as the generation of process sequence, operation sequence, jig & fixture, NC program etc. necessarily needs the compound geometry data as well as the simple geometry data and non-geometry data. In this paper, we propose a feature data model according to the result of analyzing necessary data, including the compound geometry data, the simple geometry data and the non-geometry data. Also, an example of the feature data model in milling process planning is described.

  • A system for burr measurement is developed to measure the geometry of the burr formed in metal cutting or shearing operations. laser system is selected according to the required measuring accuracy and burr size. A specific program for calculating the burr geometry from measured laser data is developed. The raw data is obtained by scanning cross the burr. The height and width of burr are calculated. Due to the specific characteristic of laser peak or valley are formed in measuring sharp edges or small sharp cracks. Compensation for the peak or valley is carried out to make it possible to calculate the burr, burr geometry is measured in 3 dimension.

GSP를 이용한 수학과 교수-학습을 위한 자료 개발 및 방법 연구 - 중학교 함수, 기하분야를 중심으로 (The method research and the development of teaching-learning materials by using GSP (function and geometry in middle school math))

  • Recently our educational methodologies have been changed to an open, student-centered structure. Mathematics is now learned through experiential interaction and less emphasis is placed on abstract theories. For example, the axioms of the geometry in the middle school curriculum have been expressed by using symbolic letters. Students find these abstractions very difficult and it hinders their ability to grasp the significance of geometrical concepts. In an effort to simplify these abstract concepts and enhance the students interest and ability to learn, the GSP (Geometry Sketchpad) is proving to be a useful and effective tool. First, Second and third grade students have found the GSP to be extremely useful. While the pad has no sound function it still enables the students to freely change diagrams without disrupting the integrity of the program. There is also a running order of instructions at the bottom of the screen to facilitate the step by step understanding of mathematical procedures. This function makes the program ideal for use by teachers, students and even beginners. Anyone experiencing difficulty can get immediate assistance from the guidebook which is located at the back of each program. Allowing individuals to manipulate and actually see the changing deductions and axiom proofs on the computer screen provides them with immediate feedback and reinforcement. It also enhances their overall interest in learning geometry. The use of the GSP is proving to be an innovative and effective tool in facilitating the transition of mathematics into an open, student-centered educational forum.

차원을 주제로 한 기하탐구프로그램을 통한 초등수학영재학생들의 창의성 (A Study of mathematically gifted elementary students' creativity on dimension based geometry exploring program)

  • 본 연구는 초등수학영재 학생들의 창의성이 신장될 것으로 기대되는 프로그램을 투여했을 때 나타나는 창의적 사고력과 창의적 태도 변화를 분석해 봄으로써 개발된 프로그램이 학생들의 창의성에 끼치는 영향을 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 프로그램은 소설<플랫랜드>의 시사점을 바탕으로 '차원'을 주제로 한 12차시의 기하탐구활동으로 구성되었다. 연구문제 해결을 위하여 창의성을 인지적인 영역인 창의적 사고력과 정의적인 영역인 창의적 태도, 두 영역으로 나누어 사전검사와 사후검사를 비교하였다. 그 결과 두 영역 모두 유의미한 변화가 나타나 본 연구에서 개발한 프로그램이 창의성 신장에 영향을 주었음을 알 수 있었다.
